I never read the AUP. I don't even know where to find it.
!
That is so going in my Signature.
I never read the AUP. I don't even know where to find it.
Hehe, found it. W00t.Bottom of every page on this site.
In summary, if you get 30pt, you'll get banned. Try not to get 30pt and it shouldn't worry you at all. If you think you might accidentally get 30pt, get someone who doesn't have to wear mittens for their own protection to post for you.
Oh man, I've been here 2 months and have 10 points (2 infractions). Ow.
I beg to differ but I do slip up everynow and then.if we have to tell someone to just read the sodding AUP more than twice, chances are they aren't ever going to get it...
See IMO that depends what type...... I joke. And if Jordan ever turns GTPlanet into hardcore-pornography, well you can bet I'll never be back here.
Well, that's actually the fairly standard profile. People who are new violate the rules right away until they either figure out the boundaries or get banned. Sounds like you've done the former, so I wouldn't live in fear if I were you.
👍
No, they'd terminate your Internet service if whatever you are posting/doing to GTPlanet is in violation of their own network use policies.Ok, just read the AUP, and one of the strangest things is that GTPlanet has the right to contact your Internet Service and I suppose they would block the site from your computer? Well that was not a wasted 2 minutes of my life, I actually DID learn something there. Thanks.

Lets say member "A" gets an infraction point/s issued by Moderator "A".Member "A" feels he is in the right and should not have received the point/s that were issued to him. Does member "A" have the right to contact Jordan and dispute the infraction?
Have infraction points ever been overturned in any such manner after a quick review of the "supposed" infraction?

I've read the Banned User Log a number of times, and I've noticed alot of people who were banned once, and when they came back, they were banned again on the spot. But I've also known people who were banned once, came back, and weren't banned again. How do you come to the decision to give them another chance or not?
SlipZtrEm's explanation is pretty much spot on here.Speaking from past experience on other forums, it's usually because returning members typically fall into one of two categories. Either they're coming back for malicious purposes (some of the Banned User Log entries make it fairly obvious with their usernames), or they have a desire to reform, to wipe the slate clean. As with many other situations in this thread, it's on a case-by-case basis usually since you have to balance the decision with a none-too-easy-to-nail-down sense of how much this particular user brings to the table in regards to the site.
Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure.
If you have any it will come up on your profile page in-between 'Friends' and 'Contact Info'. It's blindingly obvious and everytime I visit my page it is a constant reminder. Its quite an effective spot to be honest .
Aha, thanks for clearing that up.If you have any it will come up on your profile page in-between 'Friends' and 'Contact Info'. It's blindingly obvious and everytime I visit my page it is a constant reminder. Its quite an effective spot to be honest .
Aha, thanks for clearing that up.
Do you even have any, kikie?
💡You don't have any warnings or infractions, Chris.
