What have you been doing in game just for the sheer fun of it?

I've buying cars for the paints, and put those "paint hunt" cars on Stockyard (it works on me, yes). I got the Iris Red and Iris Blue paint chips, and thought of replicating the Micro Mouse Mappy (think RRT4) livery on the 908 Base Model, as well as other things such as Esso Ultraflo Supra and Gulf McLaren. In fact, I used base models to replicate colors of Eva Racing GT300 (on Lexus IS350; original was Corolla Axio), Goodsmile Racing (on BMW M3 N24; original was Z4) and Pac Racing Club (on a GT-R TC, which is technically a base model) as well as the NSX LM GT2 on NSX RM/LMRC. :D

McLaren F1GTR Race Car Base model 95. Stock, no TCS and everything on screen turned off, Nurburgring 15 minutes.

I wish I'd discovered this car earlier. It is amazingly good fun to drive around there.

I have been going through different tracks taking pics of my camaro in real world tracks or running by something odd on others. The key to this is to win the race in an under powered car with out hitting or being hit by the AI, after all i don't want to messmy pics up. Its been harder than I thought it would. Pick another car and do it again.

I've been buying old classic cars like the Toyota 2000GT , the Shelby Mustangs and the Chevelle and then customizing them to colors and wheels that I like better then the stock versions.....

Drifting!
I discovered a love for it (after the angst of drift trials, and related events in the NFS series) when trying to win Tour of America with a Viper... Controllable power oversteer ho!

Time Trials.

I pick one track and post a time in the first car, then select another car and post it's best time, then select another car etc...

Once a car is on the leader board, I cannot use it again until it drops off, as I do not want to see the same car listed more than once.

I actually wish that there was an option to only allow each car to appear once on the leader board. That way I can try to use the same car to move from 2nd to 1st, rather than have that car appear on the list as 1st and 3rd.

I do this as well. For more depth, it would have been nice to be able to set multiple leaderboards for each track (where users can set the criteria (like PP, drive layout, etc that exists with online lobbies). And, of course, name each leaderboard (e.g. 500pp 4WDs).

Drag racing. Dropping big block Chevys in Classic Muscle cars and clocking in 12 or less second 1/4 miles. Like my father always says, "Big Block da Bi**ch!"

Tonight I tried to create a Saga Noren 911 (TV show 'Broen' or 'The Bridge') using a Yellowbird, some Fuchs(ish) wheels and some teal green/mustard coloured paint from some American muscle car.
Turned out pretty good too. Then I took it to Bathurst in the IB all stars and kicked the living whoop out of it. Loved it.

Now that I am all done with the game and online is all I usually do, I have been grinding for credits, and purchasing all rally cars in my sight :D For a change.

Pitting my Subie Rally car, Tajima, Escudo and the Pikes Peak Audi in Toscana. May the best lap times win

Sounds complex, but good ideas.

Stupid thing for fun for the day. Import the Song Axel F from an old CD.

Then buy a blue Chevy Nova then hotlap with that song playing...Why.

Beverley Hills Cop. "So Axel, I remember when you used to drive that crappy blue Chevy Nova. What you driving now?"

"Same crappy blue Chevy Nova"

It would be nice if this feature was in there, or alternatively just make yourself a tasty spreadsheet and then you can sort it by whatever criteria you fancy.

I've just been trying out different (premium) cars. I typically buy it, make it look the way I want (paint, wheels, aero, oil), then maybe tune the exhaust, balast, suspension and brakes (but very minimal, i don't want to lose the original "feel" of the car and then just run laps with each one. Sometimes I'll tune a little more, but generally I just kind of keep the cars stock-ish as long as they are fun to drive that way.

Completing the seasonal events with stock cars... I have to admit the scirocco one was quite challenging using a stock car... Had to devote quite some time to complete it

You have got to try it. Tokyo has a bunch of movable junk, especially those big orange walls. So right by the second to last turn before the road narrows i try to push like 5 or 6 in the way, reverse, wait for the pack and watch the mayhem ensue.

Go to Tokyo and smash stuff. But I agree. I have had the game, for this my third day, and I am already 22% complete, i haven't bought any cars, not two(I had to buy the first one). Remember the days of 3 or 4 when it felt like you were never going to see 50% completion.

The other one that's fun is the Nurburgring Indy course. The three left white blocks on the chicane are styrofoam. You can spend a lap moving them around to block the track then watch the AI try to get around them. You can also hit them full speed and see where they land. Sometimes that's on an AI. You're right about Tokyo though. Lots to move there.

Taking cars that I have "customized" to the photomode and taking pictures, tuning cars, and just doing the daily log in bonus until all the "bugs" are fixed.....

Time Trials, Time Trials, Time Trials, Hot Laps, Flying Laps, Time Trials, Seasonal Event Time Trials, TT's.

Time trials are my absolute favorite thing to do in sim racing whether it's GT, iRacing, rFactor or Forza. TT's allow you to fully appreciate a circuit/track without any distractions and they force you to be consistent which is something that is very important in real world racing but is rarely the case in normal races on GT outside of Time Trials and Endurance races. I haven't even got to 50% completion in GT6 career because of the time I spend on Seasonal Events or in "Single Player Arcade" trying to find a way to shave down a few 10th's of a second at certain circuits or just trying to find braking points and learn a new car/track.
Heh. I spent all my time there also in GT4 and 5. I would in GT6 too but the odometer does not record how many miles the cars goes in Arcade. Hopefully they will fix this one day........

Been struggling with keeping interest in GT6 lately so I've started tuning all my cars for random time trials. Starting with 400pp cars and working my way up.
