What have you been doing in game just for the sheer fun of it?

I find myself buying a car and giving it an oil change, depending on it's PP I either take it to Mt. Panorama or Big Willow I run it around until I get a satisfying lap then I toss in a racing hard suspension and see how much time I shaved off. It's fun because I have varying levels of tunes for a myriad of cars, I seemingly never increase HP much as this game is brutal when you have lots of power and cars just become too on the edge without me mastering them at their base power level. One thing I found out, I HATE BUYING TIRES, I haven't bought tires in a very long while since starting the game. Comfort softs, I'll drive it, sport hard I'll drive it. I tend to remove wings on some cars because some look better without them like the Mitsu GTO and SVT Cobra. I have about 180+ cars and I am still looking for something interesting to buy, I don't know I am just a crazy guy who enjoys tuning a car lightly without going Hennesey lengths to make a great car. Now PD needs to fix the custom wheel glitch because I really want to swap some wheels on cars as I love to retain good handling.

Need to fix the leaderboard since I can't remove singular times of my own choosing a la GT4, many have complained about this not sure why the hell would anyone think you'd want to remove all the times at once and have duplicates of the very same car even in the same session, that's redundant as hell. I also can't find anyway to select which songs play at which venues in the game like GT5 did, give us back the ability to disable any song we do not wish to play during gameplay, menu, racing, anywhere. Back to my buy car drive and tune sessions, whilst I await the course creator and GPS logger addon. Hurry PD, please!

So i saw this today:

And that gave me an idea 💡
Going to buy a cheap car and tune it to rally racing. I've got 26,249 to spend on car and parts. The other 6million stays for other things lol :D

I do the same too!
And i dont really care for the wheels glitch, i just put them on whatever i like...

I'm just saving up my cash at the moment and trying complete all events in gt6. There's a few expensive cars I want so once I have them ill be doing time trials to see which ones go faster not tuned.

there were still fun things to do for freetime:
- toppled down those blue tires(Hidden Gem trophy)
- collected striped miatas
- tuned up that cutesy mini marcos gt
- off-roaded at willow with a jay leno tank car
- experimented a "texting while driving" scenario at the nurb

S event Nurburgring 24 minutes in a variety of cars. Favourite so far is the BRZ GT300 Base version with parts of this Priaino tune.

I've only used the suspension, LSD and Brake bias settings though. I've left everything else stock.

Completely brilliant fun and worth the purchase price of GT6 all on its own. RM for easy win, RH for real fun.

Make sure to turn all assistance off including the driving line and the suggested gear indicator. No pit stop required. Lap 2 is interesting.

I have been buying cars that I would never normally use and tune the crap out of them, add the Nitrous and see how crazy they are.....so far I've found the BMW 507 with +2 size wire wheels is a very good car and the 1968 Fiat 500F is just insane. Put the nitrous on it with everything else maxed out and it will smoke the tires all day long and if you add ballast to make the car's balance 50/50 it will kill on the track.I used it to win the "Turbo" series race in National A.

I have been doing my bolt-on challenge on the nordschleife,i get a stock road car,oil change then throw comfort mediums on it,run a lap.
Then once i have done the lap i throw all bolt-on performance upgrades onto the car(no engine work,no weight reductions and no transmission upgrades)and i leave the comfort mediums on,oohh plus no aides whatsoever(this includes abs).
Compare times to stock and have a blast doing it.

I just finished the Ascari 10 Lap Race in 4th in a super tuned R32 after leading by 25 seconds for at least half of the race. I was tired, the tires were buggered, and when I went for the sarcastic crossing-the-finish-line-in reverse it backfired because I spun out into the pit lane
:embarrassed::dunce::ouch::grumpy:

I checked the different behaviour of AI if I am in the lead or the last in a race. For the last test I had to drive really slow.

So I switched from on track driving to off track driving. Just leaving the road and drive as much distance as possible alongside the track. On some tracks you can almost drive the complete track off road. Of course it is much easier with a rallye style 4WD car.

My 15th anniversary Pagani Huayra will hit 304 MPH, but trying to handle nearly 1200 HP on SS tires must be similar to a turbo F1 car when the boost is turned up to "11".

And trying create a troll car that can top the Murder Midget.

Tell me about this "Murder Midget." I'm intrigued.

Sark
I'm going to assume it's just a fully tuned Midget II with Nitro and the ridiculous roof wing. It's pretty quick, and if you have your suspension really tall and stiff, you can drive it on two wheels around every corner (and the main straight if you want)

Been trying to recreate setups for the Formula GT to match F1 regulations. The Ford GT40 Mark 1 '66 painted 'Fathom Blue Metallic' and equipped with three bar wire wheels to match how it looked in GT2, as well as other look-alikes. Tuning low end/commuter cars to race and win the 24M Nurburgring event with nothing softer then Racing Hards (Honda Fit, Nissan March, Mini Cooper 1.3i, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Honda City turbo II' 83 just to name a few). Recoloring/body kitting most of the cars in my garage.

Ya'know, the boring stuff. ;]

I love it when others do what I do! So much fun and there's some hidden gems out there. Great for smoking noobs in their supercars. I won the "Turbo" series with the '49 Bug (albeit with some nitrous hahaha)!

My latest thing is 'Build a Type R'. Basically I hunt for anything that's FF (not Honda) and comes with a normally-aspirated engine. Take it through the ranks all the way from Sunday Cup, tuning to mini budgets as I go. No turbos whatsoever, just upgrading power with NA tuning, intakes etc, using Racing Hard suspension until the PP limits get bigger. Oh and set the cars up using setting meant for Civic Type R's, trans and all. Finishing off by painting the cars Championship White and fitting white Type-R-esque rims. So far I have done this with the Nissan Cube X '98 and currently with the Punto HGT Abarth. Really great fun and means you get to know new cars too.

Tsukuba time attack or Nurburgring Driving.

I really like taking cars around the ring because of how varied and long it is, I dont feel as if Im at a circuit as much as I am going for a drive around the back roads of Germany.

I take whatever street legal car that at that moment bites me to be driven by the feeling of looking at it and take it to Silverstone and just do hotlapping! That is one of the biggest joys so far I do have! Silverstone is such a great track and well imported into game! Love it!

I just found a video on Youtube that you can duplicate in GT6 just for sheer fun - driving on the Nordschleife on a wet, cold day. You have to put some low grip tires on your car to duplicate the almost freezing temperatures. And of course turn off all assists

You can see how much the driver has to fight with his car to keep it on the track;

Right now I'm buying really slow cars & plan on completing at least one valid lap on each track with them fully stock. No oil changes, no new tires, no aftermarket body parts, etc... Right now I'm using a Fiat 500F '68 & I've completed 3 tracks. Once I finish with the Fiat, I'll move onto something else. 2CV maybe?

yeah, this is fun, I've taken the Sambabus around a few tracks, Bathurst was fun, I'll edit in my lap time here tomorrow morning when I check but I think it was around 5 minutes (I did change my oil though, I don't think it adds any power at all in this case). Also, try driving your 500 at Dristelen. :mischievous:

So far i've spent about 10 000 000cr on tuning, wheels, paint and such. :)

Rallying on Willow and drifting is quite high up there aswell. :D
