What have you done to your car today?

Installed my new idle jets. It was too lean before...and now it's too rich. Erg. Gonna go with a .65 and see if that cures it once and for all. It is running far better than before though, so that's a plus.

Anyway to tune it down a little bit without having to tear them out again?

While I was out test driving, I drove past my friends house, took it to the top of 2nd, and then let the ovverrun burble away as I coasted down. I got a text from him a little while ago saying "nice 2 foot flames" :)

Stock ones look better IMO. That one you have on looks like you got in an accident, looks all dented up to me.

So why didn't you get the back fiberglass fenders too? So that you don't have a mis-match?

Also why only Plastidip a little bit of it and not do the rear too? Or did you?

And finally why Plastidip a black vehicle? Were you planning on painting the dip?

I don't mean to question you,Its your truck do what you want, I'm just curious is all.

Blacked out the emblems on both cars

The Ranger and the WRX wagon are looking awesome! 👍

Engine is officially mounted! However, it'll have to be taken off again to be serviced.

On another note, my friends and I put seafoam in a couple of cars (including my dad's Sienna) and just made our own smokeshow.

Used it to get my dad a new gas grill and had to snap a pic of the stance when I checked the mail

So the cooling fan on the BMW crapped out on Friday. Pulled it out and of course no one stocks a cooling fan for a 7 series BMW in town, other than the dealer. So had to order one of those, $575 later, it will be here Wednesday or Thursday....

Changed the oil on the truck on Saturday and topped of the fluids 👍

Went and looked at a WRX wagon and Mazdaspeed 3, something "new" in my future :)

Uh, real cars. Unless you meant to post in the "what have you done with your spacecraft today" thread.

DVD Changer was telling me "No Disc" so removed the changer from the boot, opened it up, used a cotton bud to lightly brush the lens clean, put it all back together, re-installed it and it's just like new again :D

Went to service my mom's car (first time experience of many  )Nothing too major part of the exhaust used to grind against speed bumps and repaired the brakes (now when I press the brakes the car actually stops :sly: ).

Did pay a chunk though but considering the car has 120K kilometers on it,not in bad condition at all considering the roads here.

Stared at it out my kitchen window with deep sarrow as it sits outside collecting dust, rust, webs, and other wear and tear... I don't have the money to get it runing right now so I have to hold it off. I'll probably wash it soon just so it doesn't sit in a state of depression. Maybe buy a cover for it so the sun and water can't damage it any more.

I just realized that I never do anything to my car... I mean I never even drive it anymore, because I'm a teenager with nowhere to go. Even when I do go somewhere I'll ride my motorcycle.

I only mention this because whenever I do drive my car all I have to do is check the tires and turn the key. I may have the oldest car at the house, but I have the most reliable one. This car has NEVER left me or my dad (his old car) stranded or refused to start once in 180K miles. I freaking love engineering.

I think I'm going to go wash it, vacuum it, polish the wheels, and order a couple interior parts that it needs. I freaking love this thread. Over the past year it's slowly had me fixing/replacing the worn out bits piece by piece 👍

Lintel, what's wrong with the Camaro? If you need to vent more this is the place.
