1:44.28X for me now, damnn thought that would get me into #1 spot in the West. What Fix does on that left hander around the tree before S3 is amazing. I'm even with him until there.

This is really lame.. we better hear soon from somebody.. just broke into the 50.8xx's at Indy (saved my own replay haha) but i'm still 23rd..

Ah, its been a while since I've been 1st! Feeling good about this round now. The only bad part is the lap is 2:52 so it makes Toscana not mean as much.

Thanks for listening PD.

Hunk - +1

Nice work. It feels good seeing "worthy" names at the top. And you are right, I guess it's not worth trying to get another 1/2 second at Toscana now that we have another 3 minute lap to learn.

Yeah toscana is dead to me now : p glad I at least got down I the 1:44.xxx range first.

pretty much, I'll probably give it a few more hours but not much more than that. I'm sitting in 16th in the west right now with a blazing 3:00.949 at eiger haha. Had time for a single outlap this morning before class.. looking forward to heading home and knocking at least 7 seconds off that tonight!

Good to see legit clean drivers back at the top of the leaderboards..

Eifel = 11th
Toscana = 4th

Overall = 6th in the West.

Going to take a breather for a couple days and see where I end up, then push at the end if I have to.

Eiffel - 2nd
Toscana - 5th

Overall, 2nd on southeast, 14th overall.

Shame i´ll probably spend more time on Eiffel... i still want to see if i can squeeze a 43 on Toscana.

Shame you're ineligible as well.

For real man can you just stop, you are ruining this competition for somebody. There are many other things you can do that wouldn't take away from another player that can actually win prizes or a trip to the finals.

Like other people have been saying, what is the point? Why spend any time on any of the tracks? You will seriously screw someone over because you "want to see" if you can do some alien times. Give it up man, hopefully it isn't too late.

Eifel - 1st midwest, 2nd overall 2.51.453
Toscana - 3rd midwest, 10th overall 1.44.270
Total - 1st midwest, 3rd overall 4.35.723

Overall I'm pretty happy, I know there some time on each but Toscana is just too hit or miss for me. I can't do any consistent laps.

I get to work on Toscana on Friday!

I'm #66 overall in the West, but still practicing at the moment. You top guys are un-believable ...probably have more experience than I do lol.

Currently 12th in the midwest. Lots of time to find on Eifel, some time to find on Toscana. I'm not really fond of either track, but oh well.

I'm hoping to be down to a 52.2 at Eifel and a 44.2 at Toscana before it's all over.

I never imagined I'd be as far up as 6th in the West right now. It probably won't last, though, once more folks get the hang of Eifel.

Still, anything past Round 2 for me will mean I've exceeded my highest expectations. :)

right behind you Outlaw! After playing Eifel for a good few hours, I was stuck at a 52.6xx and was just about to quit when I decided to do one more lap. Bam, over 4 tenths quicker! So stoked, that almost never happens! Going to give it a rest and try to improve my toscana time tomorrow night if I get all the schoolwork I've been putting off this week done.. if not, I'll be back on friday

ahhh... fever broke late last night and I was up early so I gave the new track a whirl.
Clawed my way back above the bubble to 12th in the NE.
Was nice of them to not clutter up the sides of the track with things like brake zone markers, kerbs, or any sort of visual cues. Although after the Indy fiasco I'm actually quite disappointed to see all the extratrackular activities going on at Eiffel. Was using a ghost to learn the track faster and then he runs wide and passes me on the lawn.

After about 60-90 minutes at Toscana and about an hour at Eifel (thank you work-at-home lunch breaks), I had moved up to the top 10 again (4th in NE I think). However, I've dropped outside the top 20 (8th in NE). Tonight and tomorrow I plan to sit down for my first real sessions since Monday evening, putting in a bunch of laps at both tracks. If I don't take off a full second between the two tracks I will be disappointed.

These will be my final times as I am finished for this round. I cannot go any faster, as I have found my limits with the Eifel/R34/Crap Tire combination.

Eifel 102A - 2:52.687
Toscana 101A - 1:44.327
Overall - 4:37.014

I finally got a good session tonight, doubling the time I have spent on each track thus far. I took off about a full second between the two tracks, meeting all 3 goals (2:51's, sub 1:44.5, take off 1 full second overall).

At time of posting I'm 18th (5th in NE).

There's an easy few tenths at each track, with probably about another second total out there. Goal for tomorrow evening's session will be 2:51.300, 1:44.250, taking off another 1/2 second in total. That would move me to right around the top 5 (4th in NE - who said West was best?), and probably guarantee a spot in round 3. If not...I might have a 4:35.0 in me if I work at this all weekend (the Pats aren't playing anyway).

LOL.. Just when you thought you were done. Nice improvement on your Eifel time. I am currently 72nd (23rd west). Hopefully I can put together a couple of magic laps, as I know I am still messing up in at least one sector every lap. I can only see .5 sec on each lap though.

Yeah I waited a couple hours (ish) to calm down and tried again. Got myself a few tenths, but I think that's all she wrote. We'll just sit back and watch from here. :)

With those times, I think it's going to be close in terms of making the cut. I already got pushed down to 13th as of right now and I'm only .200 behind you. :nervous:

Yeah I know. And there's some I'm sure who haven't passed us yet. (GTP_TimeAttack, etc) If I'm feeling up to it on Sunday and only need a few tenths, I think I can get a couple from Eifel and one from Toscana. If I need more than that, I'm not even going to try.

I'm going to have to put in a pretty big push this weekend - between memorizing 2 rather lengthy tracks and putting in a competitive time that will secure me a slot in Round 3, I have a lot of work ahead of me :scared: Unfortunately I've been sick the past couple of days and haven't been able to put any quality time in during the week (spent a little less than a hour so far @ Eifel).

Next Round (as long as I make it) I will definitely get on the ball a bit earlier :ill:

Yeah, I've got some work to do these next 3 days.. Ideally, I'd like to think that if I really focus and put all the pieces together, I could break into the 4:36.2xx range this weekend. Will it be enough for top 16 in the west? I sure hope so!
