As of this morning, I'm sitting 11th in the West in a R1600 and Cheef sandwich.
Eifel: 2:52.2xx
Toscana: 1:44.3xx

I think I can pull off a clean high 2:51 at Eifel if I can put all the good bits in a single lap, but anything more and I'll have to mow lawn which I have avoided including Round 1 Cape.

Damm the West is tough lol

I want to sit down and press but just about everyone posting here is in the West and everyone is cranking out lap after lap gahhhh

1st in US and A!

I know the sharks are preparing to feed, but not before I show my mum what I did :dopey:

I'm a big "0" right now mainly because I'm at work, but I also do not plan on hitting the track until Sunday.....just in case. Going to enjoy my night with some movies and beer. :)

I've actually got some movement on the set of tracks. In the 30's right now, but shaving a second would jump me to the teens.

Madrid: 1:40.564
Rome: 1:05.924

Overall: 2:46.488

MW

as of right now and until I figure the kink and following turn out in rome-
1:39.546 Madrid
1:05.878 Rome
2:45.424 Overall
18th in the Northeast

wow, exceeded every expectation of how I would do today!

Madrid: 1:38.637
Rome: 1:05:213
Total: 2:43.850

1st West, 2nd Nation

still in a little bit of shock from my Madrid lap.. can't believe I'm up there!

What a waste of a Friday night. At least now I really don't think I have to run another lap to make round 3, unless they changes the courses again.

2:44.081 - Tied for 4th nationally (3rd in NE), but I think GTX wins the tie-breaker (I assume Madrid is the "main" event?).

There's another 1/2 second out there to get this weekend, but I don't see the cutoff in the NE being much faster than 2:44.5 so I might just go skiing.

Madrid = 1:38.923
Rome = 1:05.503
Total = 2:44.426

It's 1am, after running almost 60 laps at Rome and hitting that god damn wall about 90% of the time, my ankles and heels hurt like a mother, and I think I broke my hand after hitting my chair. I'm going to go get some ice.

hahaha, I hear ya. I had teeth marks on my knuckles for a while after I was inspired to gnaw on my hand after a strikingly significant number of consecutive collisions with the first turn at madrid.

Rome is fun, still got a fair amount of time left there, but Madrid... I LOATHE that track, so hard and the AWD just does funny stuff off corners calling it a night I think... I just wonder how many people are practicing offline seems like not that many times are posted.

Madrid = 1:38.966
Rome = 1:05.591
Total = 2:44.557

Lets hope tomorrow we load the same tracks lol.

You're still in first though!

I used your Ghost at both tracks. Madrid helped as I beat you after a few laps, then you posted a better time. :crazy: Then at Rome I'm faster than you in the first sector, but that stupid corner catches me every time. The the 180* turn after that, you do that so well you just pull away. I finally gave up.

2'44.909, 10th in south east. Bet Ill be maybe 19th when I wakeup.

I know right? I dread waking up and checking my current position because I know it'll drop overnight like a rock sometimes. I only got bumped down one spot so far, so I'm going to go out and enjoy my day and see where I'm at a bit later. Hoping my 2:44.426 is enough to make it.... :nervous:

I think it will be. 👍 My guess is that 2:44.5 will be the "bubble" for most regions.

Agreed, I cringe every single time I load the leaderboards. :indiff:

That is probably the best thing you can do, take a break from it all and you can come back and lay down some laps in an emergency if you need ha.

I got down to a 2:45.6 last night but that's only good for 36th in the West right now. I feel another full second is feasible but my knees are pretty much done. I just don't feel like abusing them anymore for a full day session, especially since I did that before to earn a Top 10 spot only to have it taken away. Guess it's time to let B-Spec Bob to take over for me and make me some money while I relax and recover.

My objective for this competition was to not look like a fool out there that doesn't know how to drive. I'd like to think I succeeded and that's good enough for me. :)

(That, and winning a poster for Round 1) :lol:

3rd in the West for now. I think I'll leave it alone unless I have to go faster. Times are really close. On both tracks I have a time exactly the same as someone else.

Wow - I just looked, and I'm in ANOTHER tie...this time for 5th nationally. I suspect Madrid is the tie breaker, but that doesn't matter unless you are on the bubble.

Northeast now has 4 of the top 5, and 5 of the top 7... The top 8 spots in the NE in round 3 are going to be insane.

As of now the bubble for the NE and West are the same, both 44.687, and .688 respectively. I just hope the times sit there but yea the NE has got some quick fellas in the front.

You're telling me. I'm sitting in a somewhat comfortable 7th overall in the West, but I just checked the bubble spot and the 16th place driver is only .266 behind me. :crazy:

Yea, one good lap and you can jump like over 5 places, the times are getting closer and closer near the bubble

Damn, things sure are getting tight near the bubble spot. I guess it's time for me to get a move on and get something in the books @ Madrid :scared: Too bad this damn cold I came down with is not helping my motivation or focus to jump in the cockpit one bit...fawk! :ouch:
