Anybody care to post the overall standings here for us PAL to see? Lots of gtp names there I guess? Top 20 would be great.

Im in the 511 club! *sips champagne*

Very nice work!

Anyone know when this week ends? Curious to know how much time I have left to try and steal Kris's playseat. (fat chance)

LOL Kris.

I fail. Im assuming the week ends at 12pm EST since that is when it started. Looks like Ill be hotlapping for at least another week. Its just going to get tougher and tougher to stay in the top 5 as the days go by. =(

Change your attitude man! You're #3 for a good reason! And you just improved a significant bit yet again. You're my pick for the third playseat.

I just moved up from 88th to 71st (SE) by knocking off a whole half second on the Cape. My quickest lap there was a 2:48.9xx the all of a sudden i ran a 2:48.4xx. That is really the only track i have been working on lately. Just worked on it Friday night and Sunday and knocked off 2 seconds between those 2 days. I may work on it one more day and then go back to the other two tracks. I know i can gain allot more still on those. Just want to see if i can gain some more time on this one while im still in rhythm.

Also Id like to know where i rank among other right foot brakers.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Im just nervous because I know the aliens are lurking. And you know now that you said that Choate is gonna come back with a vengeance!

Great job zr1! Thats a huge amount of time to find.

Thanks Hunk, thats just one of those tracks that can be difficult to put together a whole lap. Sometimes i start off real good then kind of mess up the middle then other times i start bad and run a great lap for the rest, and so on. That lap was just pretty good from start to finish. If i can get down to a 2:47.xxx then i think i got a pretty good chance to get the top 32 once i go back to work on the other 2 tracks.

Meh, I already have a playseat so I'm not too motivated. But, it doesn't mean I won't fire it up this week and try and get into the 511 club.

Well if you get an extra one i will be more than happy to take it off your hands. ;) Im using some crappy little foldable table from Walmart that i bought for $8.

I would just like to see you win it Hunk because it looks like the prize would be a good improvement over your current set-up, and I know Choate already has something similar. I still think either of you will take it for weeks 3 and 4. :)

when you do get the playseat i would love to see another video showing left foot braking. i have pretty much given up on it in my playseat do to the center brace.
But the actual comfort of everything makes it worth it to me.

I'm a right foot braker. Just turned 2:49:2xx on the Cape, which put me at 55th for the SE region and 238th overall.

There's a lot of time to be found on that track, for me at least.

Yeah Im 34th at the Cape currently in the SE region. I was at a standstill for a little while at the time you currently have which is where i was at going into yesterday but now im running around that time somewhat consistently.

Hey lord grey my psn is sparklefresh and I'm in SE you should use my cape ghost I only use right foot braking so it might help some.

338 overall in midwest, 90 on rome for midwest, still trying to figure out the drift technique on these crap nissan's i hate the car in tsukuba, i mean sometimes the thing spins out even when your going in a straight line, drives me insane, its too finicky.

I am 88th in my region overall, I don't know if I care to better it. I am not really in the mood to try and figure out the grass cutting techniques on Cape Ring, I tried them a few times and end up wobbly in the car or hitting the curb wrong, then I just ask myself "why am I trying to perfect cutting?". I can't be mad at them for doing it, I just feel silly trying to master it...

I am a right foot braker and after a night on the cape I was able to get a 2:49 but to be honest that track is a PITA so I just quit after that haha I will probably focus more to get it down to a 2:47 which I know is there I just can't seem to get a full consistent lap, I always mess up a few corners.

Thanks, and yah it would be a welcome improvement. I probably would never spend the money to buy one but if I won it Id sure as heck use it! Id also have a second rig so I can race with my son, thatll be fun...or wife, not so fun.

Western Rankings:

Tsukuba: 1:05.266 (4th)
Rome: 1:21.409 (2nd)
Cape Ring: 2:47.176 (14th)

Overall: 6th

USA: 26th

I know I'm faster on Cape Ring. Beat the 10th place ghost everywhere but one part of the track which was enough to put him ahead by half a car length.

I'm climbing up the ladder. 38th mid-west. I keep finding speed, by using less brake, and waiting more for the throttle.

1:06.189 Tsukuba 140th
1:22.659 Rome 78th
2:48.389 Cape Ring 26th
5:17.237 Overall 38th

Im surprised im still top 100 with me not touching the game since before xmas lol.
24 south east.

Next week Ill get back into it I want to make sure im top 8 in the region every round.

As of posting -
Northeast: 3rd
Overall: 5th

I'm getting used to the DFGT, and moved from 8th back up to 5th by taking off over 0.3s at Cape. I blew a couple laps that would have taken off another 0.2, maybe 0.3, but I trust those will come as I get more consistent with the pedals.

Back in contention for the last couple playseats...but I'm going to need to work on Tsukuba (1 tenth) and Rome (a few tenths) as well because 1:05's and 1:21.5's are getting old quickly thanks to Fix giving everyone the answer key via his lighting fast ghost.

Wow, amazing the difference in the regions. That time would put you at 55th in the northeast. Bummer... Oh well, I just checked and I'm 74th in the NE with a time of 5:18:344.

Whats with you people? all i want is a DFGT, is that too much to ask for? Just let me stay in the top 10 this week then you guys can have the leaderboards all to yourselves :grumpy:

*walks away mumbling to self about having to do more work*

Got to 4th MidWest and 11th US today. Rome and Cape are frustrating the hell out of me. You have to curb hop everything to be quick at all.
