Would it be a good idea to have in the OP the person who got the most distance and the person who got the most retries before round 3/4 is launched, then the same before 5/6 and again before 7/8 is launched?

Yes thats a good idea...i did 185 retries on nurb from 10pm till 02.30..didnt improve! Tried again next evening and beat my time with 3rd try!

I found I would do this as well, trying one event and not getting any improvement. But as soon as I move to another or go back the next day I would get a improved time.

It's what I call 'burning up' any form of long stint on GT will mean you will either improve from turning into automatic mode or won't improve at all. A small break is always worth while, it's why I only (When going for times) spend an hour as you can't concentrate for 5 hours straight at the limit, nobody can to be fair! But what I do in that hour is focus on the challenge ahead! But congratulations on the improvement :)!

If people are interested I guess we can do that for every set of rounds (once closed)... but keep in mind that it's not a contest and I didn't created this thread in that regard. 👍 Since the next round will start soon...let us know which round for (distance/attemps).

Yes that's true!I think you learn a lot in the long stint, but you make really good use of it only after some rest.

As a Canadian:

Gold Medals: 10
Total Mileage: 23.5km
Total Retries: 10

No real reason to try any harder - other than for self-satisfaction - in my honest opinion. 👎
Can't complain about the bonus cars though. 👍

Sorry, but why would people be proud of something like that? Maybe the least distance and least retries? That I could understand.

278.0
396

That's how many it took to be first in my friends list in all events.

And no I will not be accepting any new friend requests until Academy is over.

Well, to me it was like another game for free, I loved it, and I tried to beat my friends, so to answer your question, I'm not proud, although I am proud because I did beat all my friends in 8-5, but I probably tried more than anyone by three or four times, lol, I had a great time doing it too, 7309 retries, lol, sick:scared:! Now if someone has more than that, I'd be surprised.

Since this thread was out there, thought I'd go ahead and post my info...
40 Golds
7900.8 Miles
6027 Retries
Of course, most of these were on 8-5, given the importance of getting it right :)

40 Golds
1,957.4 Miles
2,782 Retries

In my defence, most of the golds were on the first or second attempt. The retries were to get into the top 1,000 which wasn't always successful.

It could have been more kilometres and retries, but since I didn't have time... Don't know how to translate exactly km into miles but I think it is somewhere around 900-950 miles. I was almost standard top 1000 driver, even got in top 250 in one event :)
