I'm gonna look for my car and it's a NISSAN.
Who wants to guess?

I'm sure it will be in the game, and dozens of model of it.

Ask the Grim Reaper if he can come a little later. And by a little, I mean ten years.

Actually, i think i'll try to build a very nice car from scratch and use it as much as possible... perhaps a Z06... or a FordGT... or a DB9... or a BMW M3... hmmmm

1. Hit my son over the head with a cartoon frying pan, then turn bloody modern warfare 2 off !!!

2. Set visionracer/g25 up.

3. Load/install game.

4. Sweat/tremble/cry/giggle

5. Look through dealerships, drool over new cars

6. Do first couple of licenses

7. Buy decent second hand FF car

8. Earn enough money to start buying all the decent FF cars to begin with

9. Time them all around the 'Ring in standard spec

10. Start tuning them !!!!!

11. Start the process again with the next type of cars (FR, 4WD etc...)

12. Continue to giggle.

Simple: I would go into arcade and pick any racing car and go smack into the as soon as possible and view the damage.

What colour socks do you guys plan on wearing whilst playing the game?

Haha:crazy:

I see these threads pop up all the time. Do members seriously sit down and dream up these threads.

As for your question. I will like be wearing black socks but there is the chance that I will not be wearing any, as I will be comfortable at home.

One thing I want to do is go to a friends house and role play the 24hrs at Nurburgring. What I mean is that there will be no handing off of the controler mid lap. We would do it like in real life. If we need a driver change then we make a pit stop. No stopping half way through either, we would play 24 hours straight. Hopefully I will be able to do that.

I have a friend that lives real close to me and we get together and do that on GT4. It's a blast! So I am sure we will be doing the same thing in GT5, That will be HEAVEN!

We use a wheel and cockpit though so during a pit we actually switch seats and adjust the seat and wheel to our liking and away we go!

1. Switch computer on and send a few goodbye emails to friends and family(leaving the country for a year or 2 ect.)
2. Check track list(that's if i haven't passed out yet from the shock of actually holding the gt5 disk in my hands) after messing around on the menu screen for about a day.
3. Go online to check and hope and pray i don't get "error connecting to host" or a black screen.
4. Start career mode(after all golds in licenses) with the slowest and worst car i can find.
5. Finish career mode
6. Buy as many cool cars i can afford
7. Buy a brand new ps3 as a backup just in case my old one doesn't last from the 1000's of hours of playing gt5
8. Online time trials/online races

i'm going to buy a toyota, no i'm not going to buy a toyota as the brakes don't work.

ahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahaha +1

1. Buy two copies of GT5
2. With the first one, break it, hammer it, shoot it, poop on it for taking such along for it to get released.
3. Turn on PS3 with GT5
4. go to arcade mode and check damage
5. Transfer cars from prologue and psp

First thing is go straight into GT Mode and check out all the cars. Aussie cars first *Jumps up and down on chair*

1. Drool all over the case on the way back home from buying it.
2. Look at the cars included in the game and see if my favourite is in the game.
3. Buy a decent 2nd hand car.
4. Take it for a drive after looking through all the tracks.
5. Do the licences.
6. Earn some money from races.
7. Look at customisation and maybe buy some customisations for my car.
8. Race some more.
9. Customise car more.
10. Then mess around with other stuff like options, online, GT:TV, ECT.

- Take ten days off of work
- Play GT day and night until I fall over from starvation and dehydration....

I think my GF will leave me too...

Check if I need to do the licenses (Message at end of GTPrologue has made me curious...)
Do Licenses
Choose a cheap and cheerful car / upload GTPSP garage
Race the beginner races
Get a Vanquish
Use livery editor on Vanquish
Tune the Vanquish
Do advanced races
Look at all cars
Online?

The ritual I always do is turn off menu music and ingame music. Always done this except for FIFA 10 strangely. I like the menu music in that.

decisions, decisions...

probably set up another account to download my Psp cars and play Le Sarthe online with some group C cars ( cockpit view), wahoooo

then

Go onto my normal account and work my way through GT like i always have and give myself a challenge or two.

CANNOT WAIT!

very funny 👍

1. Carefully unwrap my copy of GT5 with anxiety. :nervous:

2. Check out the contents within.

3. Check and read certain parts of the manual.

4. Gaze at the cover and gently remove the copy of GT5 from its holder (as if I'm going to scratch or something). :sly:

5. Turn on the PS3 and make sure all of the PS3 settings are to my maximum liking, for best performance.

6. Place the copy of GT5 into the slide and watch as the PS3 greedily devours the game.

7. Start the game up.

8. Read/listen/configure all of the pre-game info/settings (because I know there will be some). UGH!

9. Then sit back and watch the opening video to Gran Turismo 5 in all of its glory, then judge the quality of video (awesome-ok-lame) when its finished. :yuck:

10. See the starting screen and stare at it for a short while, then explore it to see all of the selections.

11. Go straight to OPTIONS, check out its contents, and start changing them (especially the control scheme and music), then save & exit. 👍

12. Briefly check out all of the other misc features.

13. Decide whether to go into Arcade or Simulation mode (if they are listed) first and ultimately choose Simulation mode for the full enthusiasts/hardcore head on experience.

14. Check out all of the selections, look at the visuals, listen to the menu music, and read all of the descriptions.

15. Then check out my garage and its options/features, then exit.

16. Make one of the toughest decision I could make before right before I begin my get my feet wet 💡 and decide whether to start my game by going to License mode to build my racing degrees and get free cars as I perfect as many trails as I can (and get super frustrated over how hard those damn trails really are :dunce: :ouch: :grumpy: :irked:  🤬 :banghead:) or check out the car dealerships and check out the cheap cars (avoid seeing anything over the starting cash allowance, so I don't spoil myself) and choose which will be my first car right away, then ultimately get control of myself and go get as many licenses, free cars from them as I can, and build my driving skills pre-main-game start.

17. Then when I'm done with all that... I... flip into overdrive and excitement :dopey: test drive all of my new cars and set all the settings to the least assists as possible and get a feel of what its like to finally and free experience the new driving physics/Damage/Graphics/Sounds   PD has made and learn how to drive each of the cars in their stock settings.

AND FINALLY... the last pre-main-game starting step...

18. Choose one of my cars and without customizing anything on it, I will go that first (most likely) Sunday Cup event and have my FIRST RACE and WIN!! :mischievous:

WHOO HOO!!
