Do whatever i have to do in the game to unlock the premium cars; so I can then see which cars have cockpit view; and then do what ever (licenses) to get cash to 'buy' all the premium cars.

Look through all cars dealerships and career events and probably lose my mind in the process.

I'll be putting through some annual leave for a week once I have a release date so work will be settled.

First: Check out all dealerships and every menu there is in the game.
Second: Do the licence tests hoping I'll win a car for completing at least B class all gold.
Third: Use the car in relevant races.

My boss - well not really, but that's for another time - is a gamer and one of my PS3 friends. I've already given him a heads up about November 2nd. With any luck, I'll be able to attend a midnight release. I've already told him I'll be in "meetings" all day and to not expect me. He asked if he could attend one of my "lunch meetings".

Buy myself a PS3. I'll probably buy the game first although I already have a G25 steering wheel and a nice 32" 1080p Sharp Aquas (both currently in storage). Hopefully by then I'd have place because currently I'm floating (or homeless) until I can find the perfect apartment :)

  • Unwrap My New Ps3
  • Unwrap Gran Turismo
  • Plug In the ps3
  • Put GT5 in
  • Die From a stroke caused by the awsomeness
  • ...

  • Come Back as a zombie and demand to play the game! :D

1) Get it home
2) Open as carefully as possible
3) Let the PS3 do what it has to in order to start game, while I read the entire manual
4) Look through every dealership and admire every car
5) before I race, change the controller and sound settings to my liking
6) Maybe race some in arcade mode to get used to everything
7) Start my career mode

1. Look at every car and make a list of what I want
2. Licenses
3. Buy every car I like
4. Buy the rest of the cars
5. Try every car on every track
6. Continue to blow off online games

Attack all the license tests at once to get the award cars.

Assuming you still can... GT Life mode may mean a more realistic career, you might have to get a certain amount of experience actually racing at lower levels before becoming elegible to apply for the higher grade licences. ;)

But I'm with you on that one, earning a few free cars whilst gaining access to all the races has always been my favoured route, just pass them the first time, will probably go back in months to come to go for the golds, again assuming they still use the medal system?

It's also a good way to experience a few different vehicles early in the game if only for a corner or two before the 'grinding' to pay for your own ones.

In the past, i do all the licenses first and get them in Gold right away.
Get a few "used" cars along the way, those not to be missed. ;)

Once covered in Gold licenses from head to toes,
only then will i go ahead and start racing, earning money and collecting cars...

If Kaz allow us to keep this tradition, i shall do so.

1. Check out the cars in the dealers
2. Check out the cars in the used car shops
3. Check out the cars in the arcade mode
4. Race around the Top Gear track
5. Test out the Damage model
6. Do a race
7. Do some license tests
8. more races.

Personally, after I've ended the game about 5 times, just so i can watch the intro movie over and over, I'm going to go through every menu and sub menu and options and flopshioms(!?) looking at all the pretty shiny graphicalness and new spangly content. Really looking forward to checking out all the online goodies, and especially looking through the used car list for my new motor! If i can avoid it I'm going to stay away from the dealerships, i want to be suprised when i eventually have to buy a new car to progress.

After all that, I'll hit the options menu and make sure every little detail is perfectly setup to my preference, and then march on to the license tests to get my career going.

Also, every time i get a new car, or drive a new track, i'm just going to sit back and watch the whole preview before i even set a wheel on the tarmac. I'm going to savour every moment of GT5. I've waited a long time for it, and i'm positive it'll deliver on being the deepest bestest game evARRRR!!

1. start my ps3
2. install the game
3. look through cars and tracks
4. do many/all the licence
5. play career (so i get many $$$)
6. the the thing i need to do, play for 24 hour straight on the "Circuit de la Sarthe" with an Audi R8 or Audi R10/R15 LMP1 (hopefully with a friend so i can get a little sleep and go the the toilet. :)) with no driver assistance and all that, so it will be realistic
7. finish career mode
8. play online
9. get the best rang possible (if there is a rang system)
10. start a new career. :sly:

Now that I know about the pre-orders:

1. Check out the dealers
2. Run the NASCAR up and down Stelvio Pass
3. Run the Stealth McLaren up an down Stelvio Pass
4. Run the NASCAR and McLaren around the Top Gear Track
5. Do some races, buy the Dodge Challenger SRT8...then the '70 Challenger...then the rest of the cars on my shopping list. :P

00) Take a week vacation off from work :)

1) Drive home from Gamestop pretending that I am driving on Nurburgring. While stopped at red lights, I will constantly look at the Special Edition box and try not to get in an accident from being mesmerized by its luster and beauty.

2) Enter my house and open the Special Edition box and examine all the goodies. Cycle through the 300 page "booklet", Examine the model car, put the keychain on my car keys etc...

3) Power up my 50" 1080p TV and PS3

4) Install game and press X

5) Watch full intro

6) Create profile for GT Life and Career Mode

7) Examine every single car dealership and look a every car drooling over the premium cars and creating a wish list of the cars I want).

8) Complete all License Tests

9) Start racing in Career Mode: Beginner League

10) Play the game until I can't play anymore (Probably 24 hours straight)

11) Drive down to my brothers house and give him his Birthday/Christmas present of an GT5 Collectors Edition, PS3 and a 40" 1080P TV. (Yeah, im a nice brother).

12) Set up the game/system for my brother and watch him play for a couple hours.

13) Drive back home to my house and race my brother online.

14) Play the game for a week straight.

15) Go back to work :(

I'll have a Wheel Stand Pro, Bluetooth Headset and new table to put my 32" on, so that it's at a direct line of sight, by the time GT5 comes along. I think i'm going to burn my PS3 and G25 out when GT5 comes along.

I'll probably do the first few licenses so I can do races. I'll be going for the bronze or silver to start because I just want to race. Go to the used car dealer and find the best value for 10,000 and start the grind. :)

If I get GT5:

Get all the licenses so I can enter all the races and win a few decent cars.

Maybe get a good car with my starting cash.

Try the license prize cars in the Sunday and Clubman Cups.

Go look for a cash cow prize car (Like the Speed 12 in GT2 and the RSC Rally Raid Car in GT4)

Go buy a really fast car and see what it can do in the enduros (sell the cash cow prize car if I find one, and go get Ferrari F2007 however you do).

Before I get GT5 I will:

Upgrade my 80GB HDD PS3 drive to a 500GB HDD internal drive. :)
Second: buy me a small 22" sony bravia LCD TV for my small room.
Third: Waiting for more news of GT5.
Fourth: Waiting for GT5 date for European/Australia/New Zealand

Once I have GT5:

I will watch the intro movie as usual. :)
- Go to options to fiddle around with the......
- Transfer my GTPSP cars into GT5.
- GO to Arcade Mode and try out the vehicles that I will use for the new installed tracks for GT5.
- Check out GT MODE, look at all of the features, modes etc. Look at all of the Car Manufactures.
- Go to GT ONLINE to see if anyone is online.
- Check out GT-TV.
