Look at every single car, see if credits can be turned over from GT5P if so, i'm going to turn auto-save off and try some of the cars out, and see the tuning options, then i'm going to hit up the liscences

First thing I'll do is to buy a car and then see if they FIXED the online part...
What I mean is that I DON'T want to join random races.
I want to create my own races and invite PSN friends to it.

Hard to say really! It all depends on what is in the game and how it is structured. All I know is, I'll be resisting the temptation to port across any credits and/or cars from GT5P if they allow that.

1) Buy a Morris Marina
2) Go to the Top Gear Test Track
3) Drop a piano on it
4) Send the replay to the Morris Marina owners club(or whatever they call themselves)

My plans when I get the game:

I'm going to do what I did when I started GT3 - buy an AE86.

1. options, make sure everything looks, sounds and handles to my liking
2. license tests !
3. take the first car I win to the Top Gear track, if it's unlocked yet

Then in random order, until the next GT:

- work my way through the game
- maybe b-spec - if available - some extra cash
- collect cars, get my hands on an SLS asap
- time trials, online races, trophies, photo mode

Droppin' out of school baby!!! Haha jk. My parents would kill me for that!

I will most likely see what old Nissans/Datsuns they have (cuz I have a 71 510). Also I want to race it on Infineon (cuz I live about 6 miles from it)... Then I want to race NASCAR at Indy... I also wanna try out the Lamborghinis. Those will be SIIIICK!!! The TGTT will be pretty fun to.

In all honesty, I am starting to care a little less about damage/skidmarks/that kind of stuff. It is still gonna be super beefy. But I am still hoping for decent damage cuz CMON, NASCAR and WRC deserve a decent damage engine!

I won't transfer anything from GT5P first of all.

I'll probably do A and B Liscence (is that the correct spelling), then do IB and IA and then finally buy my first car.

Licenses of course then starting from scratch with a used S13/14 doing what i can then buying a GTR V-spec or F430 and making lots of money.:D

Well as soon as i get it in my hands will probably be along these lines:

But once that is overwith will spend the entire week that i will have booked off work going through all the license tests and trying out the online features.

Just out of interest how many people are waiting for the release date tomorrow to book their remaining days off work?

Put it in the ps3 and then switch it on.... watch all the intro clips until I get to the menu
THEN....
Go to arcade mode and get a few races in before beginning a loooooooong quest through story mode.

put disk in
sort out dfgt controls
have a quick look around
buy cheap car
do first few races&lisences
tune cheap car
and i shall enjoy driving game heaven from there on...

i think the first time i play gt5 i will watch all cars in the showroom of every manufacturer

+ 1

plus i will looking for the best bargain in the used car, section... I hope this time around Is esasier to find used european cars

1. Look at cars
2. Do the non-licensed races
3. Do license tests
4. Do whatever attracts me next.

I think i'm going to check out the WRC mode first, and race with full weather effects on if applicable.See how many cars are on the track in Nascar mode and compete in some races.Head over to GT mode and go through everything there, to see what is what.Hopefully the game is an enjoyable experience, i can't see why not.

1. Just pass the Licenses to get them.
2. Do any string of races in order to get a proper muscle car, hoping for a Charger once again.
3. Tune said Charger.
4. Enjoy bludgeoning ricers with Charger.
5. Progress through game, redo licenses to all gold.
6. See if I can beat my record for beating the game in under 3 months (GT4).
7. See if I can beat my Tsukaba record in a normal car. (43.7 seconds)
8. Come here and listen to b*tching about how we hate this, miss that, and hope for the next one. 👍

Somewhere in the center of all of this prolly drop from existance, lose the mrs, possibly even lose myself whilst holding a PS3 controller.

Cheers,
Jetboy

Die a happy man.

No but seriously time will be hard all freed up in December (if it comes out in December) however in Jan. I go back to college. It will be very hard to pull myself away.

Anyways:

1. License Tests
2. Look at all cars.
3. Buy the first piece of a always enjoyable puzzle!

Call my grand-children into the room and show them the nice graphics then make a campfire and tell the scary tale of how we had to wait long and sleepless nights so we could play the game :):):)

All joking aside, my first moment in GT will be transferring my cars from gt PSP, then slip into an Enzo or an F50 and drive the snot out of it at the ring.

Stand as far away from the PS3 as possible, and frisbee the damn GT5 disc directly into the disc slot with authority. Sit back, let it load, bask in it's glory for 24 hours prior to commencing career mode.
