I use bumper view, as cockpit view reminds me that I'm playing a game, because the interior view makes it obvious the FOV is limited.

Cockpit cam generally, especially offline where it doesn't bother me to knock into a drone from time to time in a cockpit veiw with poor visibility. Bumper cam if I'm in a standard usually, unless it has a nice interior, or if its a premium with a lot of blind areas and things especially in some cars where the "driver" seems to be sitting way too high or low and you can only see a sliver of the track. (exaggeration i know, but there are some where visibility really is an issue)

Cockpit view, no HUD even for online racing.

No HUD in standard cars I know it is a clear disadvantage but it keeps the screen so clean that I can focus just on driving.

For my life I can't drive on chase cam, how do you guys can handle it?

People who race use cockpit. People who play games use bumper or chase.

Very true, it'd be hard for real racing drivers to drive from the bonnet or floating a few feet behind the car though. You're playing a game though.

Hood/Roof Cam usually, but it usually depends what I feel like at that given momemt. I can drive/race in any of the 4 cams, but Interior is probably my least favourite, I love the detail, but the non centered position gets me...

I just can't drive properly if I don't see a whole car, with an interior camera I feel like I'm blind coz I can't see a ****, funny thing, coz IRL I have no problem 'using an interior view' :D

Well quite clear that the FOV and the lack of configuration for the interior view is a bit of a let down, but this is (just for me) the best view to feel totally behind the wheel.

I guess it is a matter of getting used to any of the views available in the game.

for racing cockpit but for drifting i use the roof just because of how hard it is to see whats going on at your side.

Since the moment standard cars aquired a cockpit view too (even if black, though it's not that bad - actually I prefer it since you get the same HUD that you have in the "bumper view") I only use the cockpit (internal) view. Before, for consistency, I only used the "bumper" view.

Bumper view for most of the time, and when racing hard..

Cockpit once comfortable with car and track and can afford to be a little slower...
[And more incident prone! :( ]

Cockpit view always for me, even on standards. I feel I can judge corners and where other cars are better than with bumper cam.

Offline I use interior cam on premium cars and open wheel standards. Bumper cam for other standards. Online I use bumper cam on most cars (premium and standard) to better avoid accidental bumps. In some cars like the Z4 M I also use the interior cam online :)

Before the standard cars had an interior view, I used the bumper cam, but now I only use the cockpit view

Always cockpit. I used to use front-axle-cam on standards until they gave us the interior view for them, now never. Just wish I could see my hood, sigh. Pretty please, PD?

Let me get this straight..... All these new "chase cam complaint" threads and that's the preference of only 11% of the 200+ votes already??? By reading these threads over the last couple of days it makes it seem like everyone uses that view.
