Will GT6 have Porsche in it?

TBH, I'll be contempt without Porsches if PD actually adds more Rufs. In which, I think they might do that. I just hope one of them is the CTR-3.

CorvetteConquer
RGT-8, RT12 R and the CTR3 would make me a happy man.

That RT12R! :eek:

That monster of a RUF looks and feels like the GT3 RS and have the power of a GT2, combined! :eek:

Such a amazing car!

If Forza could buy the license mid game, I think GT6 may still have hope.

Yeah but as was said PD don't seem to want to really have to pay too much for a license. Thus no Porsche. Maybe if we all pass a money jar around and donate a dollar for each player of GT...then EA will give us them cars:dopey:

If the license costs could be a problem for PD, why not selling a dearer Porsche pack as a DLC over the normal DLC price?

Whats the reason for that lads? the porches are not in it as much as say ferrari or nissan?

For the simple fact that its not Porsche who controls licensing so much as it is EA.

Read some of the posts in this thread, and you just might find the answer you're looking for. 💡
People don't want to answer the same question a billion times you know.

^ This I made a long winded post for people so they'd know and then a newer user that doesn't want to read asks in rhetorical fashion...

Glad Jawehawk told them like it is.👍

Heh, I would die a happy man if they did this, although for some reason I can't see it happening. Hope I'm wrong though.

Don't die just yet, wait till a GT comes out on PS4 to die a happy man (if done properly that is)

I wonder if it would be possible for PD to get licensing for any of the racing cars that were derived from Porsche designs but not built by them. There were several builders of 962s, and the Kremer 935s are legendary. I don't see how they'd be any different in terms of licensing than RUF or Gemballa.

I hope for a 911 from the FIA GT3 license , they could do it like with the Diablo GT300 car.

Thing is, the FIA GT license is for the series, not the car. They would still have to get it through EA as its Porsche that makes those race cars.

Also, the Diablo was able to be bought back because PD actually got permission from Lamborghini. It was pretty much snuck into Gran Turismo 3 without permission.

We don't know how FIA GT3 licensing looks like, if it is like F1 then FIA has the full rights to use all cars.

Of course we do, look at Shift and Shift 2. Terrible games but utilized the FIA GT1 and GT3 licenses as full series (featuring the majority of the courses). If that were the case, then Forza wouldn't have had the Mercedes SLS GT3 as they have no official series license in Forza 4.

There still could be some nuances like with Ferrari and F1, all we can do is sit back and see...

Apart from our discussion, it's time for PD/Soony* to take out the $$$ and buy the freakin license from EA

Hell no. EA doesn't deserve the money.

Take a look at this:

GT5:
Audi R8 LMS

P.C.A.R.S. (So far):
BMW Z4 GT3
Mercedes SLS GT3

Assetto Corsa(So Far):
BMW Z4 GT3,
McLaren MP4/12C GT3

Simraceway(So Far):
Audi R8 ALMS Ultra
McLaren MP4/12C GT3
BMW Z4 GT3

Grid 2:
Audi R8 LMS Ultra
Mercedes SLS GT3
McLaren MP4/12C GT3

GT6(So Far):
Nissan GT-R GT3
Mercedes SLS GT3
BMW Z4 GT3
Audi R8 LMS Ultra

And all the while, none of them have the FIA GT3 License. All that license is for is the right to use the name of the series and races itself, doesn't have anything to do with the cars. That's only F1 with that odd license setup.

As much as people will want that, its ultimately up to EA if they will even accept the offer. Its easier said then done and I'm under the impression EA are not quite willing to give it up to anyone.
