Toscana is being used (if we start :nervous: ), Eifel I'm still considering. But there's honestly no chance of this surviving :(

JWRC could work with a healthy dosing of Clio, Countryman, Swift...

Before I'll even cosider starting this we need to get at least 1 of each works car.

lol just as you say one of each works car, it looks like I've picked up a teammate, Team Ralliart FTW :)

Heheh, really? Cool! I didn't know I'd be on your team. I just saw that "I need one person for each works team" and thought "Could it BE? GTPlanet's first GT5 Rally series? I should do it, just to make the series work."

So, though it is QUITE cool to be on your team, it's co-incidental.

Hey melan glad to see you joined this too.

Hi... I heard you're back in Rolex; someone named Mr.Daytona500 from Michigan was chitchatting with... arguable grammar and spelling, and I thought "That's his favourite track, his home state, and his grammar style. It's probably James." Please, keep in mind that you don't really have a slot in the series, and you need to prove that you have good attendance and pace in that series.

Ok, work with the promotion video is going forward, I think it's just about 40% done :)

More drivers would be good  and if anyone has some specific scenes from WRC in 1990 or later, please send a pm with link to it 👍

This is of serious interest, but time zones make it a huge hassle for me. Plus I'm not available on Saturdays either.

I wonder if we can't survive though :)

I'll help if possible. I make no promises, since the GT5 shuns rally enthusiasts, but I'd love to tune my skills a bit more.

But, I find that NO ONE really checks Interest Checks. I put a touring car championship up in the Interest Checks section, and then a bit later, I moved it to the Racing Series section, and then we suddenly had 24 drivers. :) I'd consider moving it, since it seems like you've got a rule set and a decent car list/driver list. It can only get better by moving it.

^👍 I agree, at the worst, I dont think it would do any harm

OK, thread is moved and I've decided on a possible support class. It's pretty easy to see that many people wanted a JWRC category, so I'm putting it up right now. You're also welcome to sign up as both a works driver, a privateer and a JWRC driver (for now that is) :)

Sounds like something I'd be interested in! I'm not sure what car I'd go with yet, though.

There's plenty of time to decide, and pleanty of cars to choose from :)

Not an hour after I moved the thread from the interest checks it had more interest than many days in interest

You're welcome! :) It worked for me, following the logic it would work for you.

And, I'll consider the JWRC class.

Sorry for the double post. I just saw this, and want to quote/reply to it.

I'm currently in Ontario as well. I imagine that I could tell you the time conversions from Danish time to Ontario time, (there's a seven hour difference) and hopefully we could put input in, to ensure that the schedule isn't overly Euro-specific.

I will not be Euro-specific. The reason I have not decided on a specific clocktime yet is because I wanted to see what part of the world had more interest. Seeing as that honor goes to America and Europe it'll probably be during evening in Europe / midday/afternoon in America if that's possible

On Saturdays? If it were early enough (2:30 PM EST/7:30 GMT-0/9:30 your time), I could make it, but after 4:30 I run in the ITCC and Rolex... Point being: Saturdays are busy with other series. If you find a time slot that doesn't interfere with other series, you'll get a lot of interest. Saturdays are unofficial GTP race days.

Honestly time doesnt matter to me much. I have all day, every day to race :) The only other series I have going is Geeky's BTCC as you know :P

👍 Your schedule's flexible? Sweet, Mitsubishi's one step closer to winning; good attendance?

I'm sure I'll have good attendance. I'm pretty good about telling people "no I cant do 🤬 right now, I have races to do." :) I'm gonna add you on PSN, I'd like to practice and get a team photo soon

That was excruciatingly fun. ;)
