Had some entertaining racing tonight with El Zissou, R1600, CarlPKY, jpro01, BlacqueJacques, (sorry to those names I forgot) and the infamous Siegmund

I had a few races earlier on in the evening, and I'm not sure how our friend siegmund (who I'm sure is one of the guests that loiters on here) was later in the night, but when I came across him we actually had some contact free racing until he tapped someone else who then retaliated and took him out :lol:

Back this evening in the Cali 👍

EDIT: Sorry Driver321GO, just seen your post on the first page. Yes that was a great race we had the other night, really enjoyed it. Thanks to you too mate 👍

Thank you El_Zissou for an entertaining evening. I had to bail Mrs. Solarr was getting pretty upset. Managed a 1'38.754 with the Clio Tuned and 1'38.154 with the GTR. Will try the Cali next. See you guys this evening.

Wow that's a great time with the GTR, I just can't get comfortable with any of the tunes I've found, do you have a good one to share?

Last night was my first time racing a 700pp race and it's a handful. I do pretty well on 600pp and below races but I'm finding it hard to be consistant on the higher HP races. I was using the gt-r with the standard Suzuka Lions Den tune and the best time I put out was a 1:43.2xx. At the end of the night, I was turning more 1:43's but I don't see me getting down to the 1:41's with this tune. I'm having a real hard time getting this gt-r to grip and it does not do well in the switchback corners. Maybe I will find a 700pp tune for my nsx-r that will work for fuji (I love my HSR nsx tune) or try another car. Anybody have any suggestions? I still need A LOT of work as a driver but maybe a easier car/tune combination will help a little. I'm not trying to beat any records, but I would love to run consitant 1:41's so I can be a little bit more competitive. Btw, I use a g27 if that helps.

Clacksman is still refuses to go to the darkside(wheel user) Volcano. His tuned are very solid for sixaxxis user. It works for wheel user aswell, but you have to increase steering angle. KUDOS CLACKSMAN. If I remember, Cman California tuned works really well for me.👍

Then I understand. I just changed brake balance to 6/7 so far. Feels like a solid tune :) Did 1.39.531 second race, quite happy with that concider I have not played gt5p lately 👍

Everything else its for beginners events.
 
Had a couple good races, but tonight was mostly lag and bad drivers 👎 Thats what I hate about W.E...so much lag. Just did a new best in f430; 1.39.100 (1.38.6 with slip)

Really stable tune Clacksman, only tweak is brake balance 7/8 and steering sens 37 👍
 
I (vkaifh) just got matched up with El Zissou. Still not sure what is worse: having him behind me or in front of me; both makes me nervous. Either way won't last long anyway.

Thanks for waiting for me. Always a great learning lesson having a fast one close by.

LOL, that explains your spins. My 2 Hefe-Weizen didn't help either; but now it's Lakers time anyway. Those Thunders just won't give up.

After 1 month out of GT5p, i got back for some fun! Managed 1.39.122 leading with the tuned elise and 1.38.601 with slipstream:)! Have to tune it up better and maybe try other cars too!

I woke up this morning and learned how to drive the clio without doing 1080s, and put a pretty good lap up on gtdb if anyone wants to check it out :dopey:

Did 2 races now and hoped I didnt get the horrible lag like yesterday, guess my hopes where to high :ouch: Lap 1 is impossible to drive clean in theese conditions 👎

Just tried it, and it worked as well as it has been lately. Actually, had a full field of 12. Try again?
