I've manage 2,00 dead with the cali but i am not satisfied with my setup:tdown:
I also see Spyrrari i've tried to follow him but i had a battle with US guy and i couldn't close the 4 second gap:grumpy:

Fastest lap while leading today in the Cali 1'59.355...:)

But am also still in need of a better setup...

Ditto on the Cali. I'm still going to use the Amuse 350Z in the races, but would like to time trial a nice handling California for a bit. :sly:

No claims, but here's my Cali tune (the rear-end seems to need to be jacked up to deal with the curbs). A 6, or even 5-speed gearbox might work better. I've got an expression that would go well with this presentation, but it's likely not PC for here... so, suffice to say, this tune sure feels good. :)

Liz, sorry for T1. That was just extremely poor driving on my part. Arrrrgh :dopey:
It was my fault too, I think I braked too early.
It was my first race (or second, I did two races and I don't remember in what race we had the accident) since the update, and after driving the Clio (550PP) the Califonia is like a wild horse.
What times are you running with that setup?
Too fast, my best lap was 2:02.8 and he using the pit lane needed about two laps to be on my bum again.

Well, as I said, no claims, but the best I've done is a 2'00.3xx in free air. However, I'm kinda slow and am usually about 1.5 secs off the pace, so I'd expect that in the right hands it could go a good deal faster.

i've manage with your setup 2:00 dead again exactly with my tune.
so i think its not so the tune but the driving style/skills:tup:
 
I am currently using the 111R Tuned, best lap in race was 1'59.517 in clean air. I tried the Clio aswell but I didn't like the handeling of it. Only managed one other lap under the 2min mark. Using mine own made tune :P, so I maybe could be faster idk.

//EDIT: 111R is fast but not fun to race. It is to different from the Cali and Clio in where it is fast.

After 5 laps I only managed a 2:00.555, but something about it feels weird.

I don't know how you usually fair against the truly fast, but your time doesn't seem too bad for 5 laps. The "weird" thing I notice about it, and I don't know if it's the tune, or the physics they've used for the Cali, is that it has a significant amount of TTO. You can use it to advantage to get the car to rotate, but it's pretty extreme. From racing other Calis it seems that most people are struggling with how tail happy it is, and this tune seems to go a pretty good distance towards minimizing that. Let me know if you discover what's causing the weirdness.

Sucks when you go from 3rd to 5th in the last corner. :(

Edit: 2:01.487 in the Amuse 350Z. Sad that is only good for 5th place though. I was surprised that 11 people decided to stick around for the finish of that one. I hate when people quit races.

It's a 10 lappers, but it's 700PP this time around. The races ends a lot faster, so I'm not too surprise that most will stick around for the whole race.

I have had several laps under the 2min now, with the best being 1'59.517.
Its probely possible for the faster guys to run '58 with it. I do use sixaxis so it might not fit the wheel people :P.
I wouldn't recommoned using this car in race, because its far to slow on the straights and there is no option to pass in the corners/if you try there is a big chance you will end up crashing.
