This is unbelievable, last night driving my Elise I did 2:00.4, with draft 1:59.9.
But now I have a problem, I can't overtake anyone, I mean, I'm chasing a California for example, on straights no way, it is much faster than me, and when I try it on corners generally I just parked on sand due to a little tap. Where do you overtake? on Dunlop, 130R, fifteen corner (before the final chicane)?

Yes this is the problem with this car, mentioned it somewhere above. Its fast and fun to drive in TT, but online not so mutch.

The third red circle is key. One must be on the outside of their opponent here, thus putting their opponent on the outside going up Dunlop. Then, after the hairpin: block. :)

Thanks for the map EL_ZISSOU, overtake from the first corner to Dunlop corner is key, because you can take advantage and gain time, but on Hair Pin, Spoon curve and Casino chicane? yes, they are corners where overtaking is easy, but then there are straights and you'll be overtaken again.
For example, a race, lap 10, from Hair Pin to finish line, Elise Tuned vs. California (watching GTdb best laps, GTDrivers_Moose vs. KOR_Crow), does the Elise have any chance of victory?

Well, each situation is different. How about if you are 3rd, behind 2 Californias? If you can overtake one of them in Spoon and get close to the next one, then you can draft and pass in the braking zone at Casio for the win. If you don't make the pass in Spoon, then you will probably not overtake both of them into Casio, and your best hope is 2nd. There are plenty of examples :)

you would be overtaken again from last corner to finish line, I know it because that happened to me 5 or 6 times last night.
BTW, Casio or Casino? wikipedia doesn't clarify anything, two maps, two names.

New best personal lap for me 1:59:697 with cali with the setup i wrote.
And of course as always for me not the best lap with mistakes so i think
59:5xx is capable......

For those who like to use the Clio, but does not like how happy her tail is. Please try and use the The Lion's Den of thhe Clio Tuned. I used that tuned and modified it slightly and got a time of 1'59.801s. It is very stable and makes the Clio more fun to drive. Wtih this tune, I should be able to find my way into the low 1'59s or if a miracle happens, even a 1'58s is possible. Thanks TLD.

Hey Liz,

Put down that silly go kart :dopey: I know it sounds silly, but I've raced with you several times(unknown psn ;)) You may have your fastest lap times in it but so what. Use the Cali or clio, that way you can mix it up through out the laps and better your skills(have more fun too) 👍 Only the really fast can win with the elise, trust me.

As for casio or casino? I don't really know but I always thought casino was a curve at monaco.

when? last night? yesterday was a horrible night for me, I did four races, and at the first corner I was beaten by someone in every race

I started using the California, but my times were too slow (well, my times are always too slow) about 2:02, but driving the english (or malay?) kart my times are about 2:00.
Tonight I will test the California again.
PS: apology messages have changed a lot lately, example
