I was just watching the Clio Cup video that Rudiraser had posted this past year. It seemed to be a lot of close racing with pack of 4-5 cars. Anyone up for this sometime this month? Just out of curiosity.

Went on for 2 races last night in a 111R Tuned. I'm still not that fast in it (high 2'00's), but that's all I'm probably going to manage with the DS3 until I have room to set up the DFP. Had an incredibly good race with a guy who must've been from around here, or a similar site, but I can't remember the portion before his username right now, will have to check when I get home.

Also had a race against a guy from Japan in a Skyline/T. He was fine for a lap or two, but once he realized I could reel him in quite easily in the corners, he'd purposely brake far, far too early (and about 20-30mph slower than he needed to) whenever I'd be drafting. I would watch from a bit further back and he wouldn't do it. Really annoying that people will do that to secure their spot.

you are right but then if you really want to race you have to defend your position somehow, and outbraking the opponent behind by breaking really early is also being done in real life... though riking your own position if he hits you but we do it sometimes

Chris

True. I had just watched Top Gear's Senna tribute earlier that day, so I guess I should've thought about it more :P. I'm just very cautious about aggressive overtaking online still because I don't want to seem like an d-bag.

yes of course, online im also really cautions, cause maybe there is a bit of lag and he doesnt see my breaklights come on early enough and he might hit me so ya, online is quiet a different story but maybe if we have lobbies once, we can have some proper 100% racing :D

Chris 👍

I guess there are not take on the Clio Cup thang huh? Is it not popular anymore? Please feel free to chime in folks.

Had a mad session, really got my times down with the clio. My best race time is an 20:35 with no slip stream Out and out win, was up front from the start. Best race lap witout slipstream is 2:02.5.

I am sure I can get into the 2:01s but it will be tough.

Try the TLD's Clio Tuned tune for it PAPPACLART, it got me down to 1'59s man.

I'd be interested Solar, but not run the Clio at all yet. The 111R would be good too, as it's really difficult to drive that alongside Clio's, Cali's etc, so a couple of 1 make races would be fun! 👍

I like my tune but the car is definately week on certain sections. I am off out for dinner now, will give the tune you suggest a try. Thanks

This event doesn't look too promising Welsh. We'll see if it'll pick up in popularity. I was thinking of doing a one day event for it.

I have been in all day. I tried the TLD tune, it is nice, more stable and understeers a little more but is mmuch better on the section just before the uphill straight. managed to take .3 out of my 2:02.5 but still along way of what is possible.

Thanks for the fun race El_Zissou and sorry for the bumps BlaqueJacque.
I haven't run the Clio or done any online racing in months, and it shows.

Yo Oct. Thanks for the tune homie. Going to give her a run today for sure. I'll send feedback. Thank you kind sir for your generosity:D

No problem man.Happy to help if i can.
I've manage 1:59:5xx with this setup so i think you can be a little quicker than me:tup:
As i said this setup is capable of doing 58s to the write hands:)

I'll be in @ 00 @ :)
F40
Hi Sphinx, last night I saw you driving the old F40, in Spoon when I was overtaking you, I think I pushed you into the sand, I'm sorry, lag in that race was horrible.
I don't know why, but if there is a japanese in the race, lag is secured.
BTW, what is your lap time? around 2:02? I was a little faster, but due to lag I didn't want to get too close and cause an accident.

I could not get her into the 1'58s brother. I did managed a 1'59.978 though. She is capable of so much more if I had more time with her. First time using this combo though. WOW, this Italian chic is a lot of fun to play with....:D

Also, sorry folks for all the accident that I had caused yesterday. Was testing the Cali for the first time. Sorry for the mess...

Hi guys, I have been asked to post on behalf of KOR members to let you know there is a racer going around the 700pp Suz event with the tag 'KOR_Twister'
He is not a member of the same forum that Joker, Hellrazor, myself etc... are from, and apparently his driving and racing etiquette are not so nice! and we don't really want him giving our Tag a bad name 👎 One of our members contacted him and he said he was a member of KOR for 5 months! I can assure you it's not the same KOR we are at ;)

Please keep this in mind when you don't get shown the usual courteousy you would expect from the KOR tag as this guy is on his own and just added any tag he pleased at the time he signed up

Thanks for listening 👍
Cheers
Ron.

He's pretty freaking fast with the lotus though, I can attest to that...lol Did not have an incident with him everytime we seemed to race against each other though. He was quite patient through the esses when I had the opportunity to raced him. But then again, it was only for several races. Not defending him folks, just stating my personal experience with him is all.

I have been racing the tuned evo ix and having some fun races; too slow for the clios and calis though and I am obviously not an 'alien':boggled: :)

I am curious what times the aliens would run in my car choice? Let me know your times if you run the evo ix...

No worries. 👍

Mistakes and lag happen and it's all down to how one reacts to those situations that counts. You acted with respect towards the other driver, and that's good enough for me. 👍👍

I'm still trying to get back into racing after a very long break and it's taking time to find my max. The F40 is an ideal car to start with as it's quite quirky and requires a lot of concentration to get the most out of it. I've still not managed a 2:02 in-race without draft, but I'm getting closer. Give it another year and I should be there. ;)

I'm running the concept 350z at the moment. Brilliant fun to drive and having some great battles in the midfield. Having lots more fun than the single cali lapping all by themselves anyway  Hope to see as much variation out there tonight as I have been doing recently. If I join in a sea of Calis and Clios I just go race the elise N event. Brilliant fun as well that one.

Happy racing everyone 👍
