Yeah sure, no problem in having it. But I dont think we'll get more than 10 drivers signed up for it....The way the WRS is run is just sublime, my ol' racing buds WRP and Hydro also run 3D3. They run weekly races based upon the WRS time trial for that week. A race using same cars, same tracks etc...

Yeah. I'm waiting until Monday, to release the WMA Time Trial tracks, but, yes, it will also run that exact same idea. We will race the same cars, on the same tracks.

Oops, this is our old thread. Sorry for the confusion.

This is our new thread. The leadership changed in the WMA, following NizmoDR3's resignation for confidential reasons relevant to his family life. I, being one of the three founding members, was made to be the new president, following NizmoDR3's resignation from leadership.

Anyways, braunracing88, welcome aboard! :)

Hiya Niz:) I've only been watching from the sidelines but it appears Mel has had enough and left the building. Cnd and Polar will pick up the slack it looks like, and move forward. I feel for the guy, it's tough being the boss and dealing with all the behind the scenes stuff, but it's not exactly the way to handle things when you want to leave. Leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth and makes it hard to return with any kind of dignity.

Hey Jonnyboy ... long time, no hear bud ... you well?

I think this is the wrong thread... Not sure, but I think so (I get them confused too xD)

Well I don't find any other thread, apart from the one that's locked ...

Hey Jonnyboy ... long time, no hear bud ... you well?

Thanks for asking, and yes I am..hope you are too. Been running a little group called DeadNutsEven the last few months. You pick any car, qualify to a time target, not a PP target or with fixed specs and come out and race. Eveyone in the race can only do the same lap time as you and no better. Makes for incredible, close racing. Usually we're on Monday nights but we've done a couple of Saturday mornings, you should check it out. Very clean racing, usually lower PP. This week we're in Vintage Euro Cars at Rome around 350PP, usually we're 400-430PP. Dual compounds...lots of fun!

Just to show you how competitive is, I rarely win!! I went 22 races without a victory one time...lol...👍👍 Not because anyone is actually faster than me, because we're all the same speed and victory is hard to come by.

7PM GMT is the earliest the event can possibly start, I don't get home from work until around then,

^ How would you have handled things?

Look, guys, my real life career is my current focus. I'm not going to be doing much sim racing anymore. I don't plan on spending any more time or money on sim racing. Sorry. I've apologized, and I left the leadership to anyone who wanted it.

My real life career, though, is obviously more important.

I closed the thread, just so that people don't have to worry about an out-of-date OP, or an absent, non-current leadership. I think you can see the problem with that.

Anyways, I'm decently happy with leaving. Most people whose friendship I enjoy, have been contacted via GTP, and added elsewhere (skype, Facebook, etc.,) so I feel fine, in regards to not missing people.

It was fun, but... I just can't keep up with this anymore. People took the fun out, by being beyond serious... And then there's the Premium Ramblings thread... And the poor conduct of some GTP members outside of GTP.

The fun's gone. I can't enjoy it anymore. When something fun becomes like work, something's broken.

I wrote a couple of very long posts when I left ITCC 1 that laid out exactly what I would do. Everything stems from leadership, good or bad. With the right leadership those issues don't exist or are spotted and dealt with early on. You can't run a group and try to keep everyone happy and be friends with everyone, sometimes you have to do what needs to be done regardless of whose feelings might get hurt. When you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one.
