I wish I could find one lobby where people just want to drive at a reasonable speed in road cars...I love my GT and LMP cars to death but it's fun to break out an old Golf and cruise at reasonable speeds sometimes :/

Just left a 65 mph "enforced" lobby where half of the players were using F1 cars or Escudo's...then the location promptly changed to Special Stage Route X and the PP limit was lifted! X1's...X1's everywhere ._.
 
Joined a drag lobby full of GTR Black Editions and i was using my 5.2 R8. 1st race i do is against the host and i beat him by a good 3 car links. I was then smashed into a wall, called an "R8 noob" (Funny seeing as he was in a car just as "noobish"), and then kicked after one pass down the strip. 5 minutes of load screens for a nice 30 second cruise on a track.

Sounds like the typical scenario when the original host leaves the room, and a new clueless host takes over. :rolleyes:
This doesn't just happen in cruise lobbies, of course, but all types.
It's like the person who inherits the room gets this big delusional idea that he's got a captive audience upon which he could impose his own bizarre parameters & make people play with him... :boggled: seemingly not realizing that the reason the room was full was because of the good parameters that had been :dopey:, and that people are NOT going to stick around if the parameters are changed to something undesirable or that they don't prefer. :rolleyes:

Restrictions: 200 Laps on Route X, Ferrari F1 cars only, Comfort Hard tires only, all assists off, tire wear/fuel consumption FAST, Horsepower restricted to 86 HP.

He quoted the post which had someone's name in it, which in turn, is against the AUP because no matter who posted it, it consists of someone's PSN name. So technically he is breaking the rules, so whoever you were talking to in this post, you owe an apology.
 
I was hosting a "Realistic Track Day" on Nurburgring, with weather change on 5, and time progression on 5. Everything was going good until 2 guys joined, then proceeded to use the final straight as a drag strip. Do people seriously not remember Route X's purpose? To go fast and to drag race your friends? I will have none of that in my Nurburgring lobby. You wanna drag, go somewhere else.

After telling him nicely "No drag racing here mate. Go in a drag lobby if you wanna drag.", to which he replies "Yo chill we're just minding our own business we just wanna have fun." I wrote "Don't tell me to "chill"." His reply? "Whatever boss.". I wrote "Get out." and kicked him. I hate attitudes like that.

Yep. I hear you on that.

I love when I make a room then you get some guy in the room that is either trying to make people mad/uncomfortable. Then when you tell them to chill/stop what they are doing they get all mad with a attitude. I usually curse them out till I feel satisfied enough to stop (hahaha venting feels good) then kick them. Which usually results in hate mail. My usual reply to any sort of hate mail is "is there a cream for that?". For some reason that reply really makes them mad but makes you laugh as to why it does

Let's be reasonable here. That original post with the ADR member's name was from like 2 years ago. I highly doubt that the ADR guy even plays GT5 anymore, let alone anyone in ADR, so quoting that post won't do anything to him. Besides that guy is banned from GT Planet so he probably wouldn't care.

I can understand some enter messages making people wary. Like "Here comes trouble" or the like, when entering a clean room, may cause some hosts to just not want to chance it. :lol:

Whenever I run a circuit racing room and see anyone doing anything that isn't a part of circuit racing, like running backwards, stopping on the track on the racing line, doing donuts one minute into the qualifying session, or what you experienced, wrecking people in warm up etc. I don't waste my time trying to reason with them, I just punt them without a thought. They've already proven they're clowns just by doing what they did, and you can't reason with clowns.

Every time I join a Suzuka East drift lobby.... drift trains going the wrong way...
I know that I'm not the best drifter, but its annoying when I want to do solo drifts in my BTR or M3 and get a face full of S13 and S15. :banghead:

Thats cause people like doing the D1 line, which is actually more fun than the track line (IMO). Everytime I join a Suzuka east drift lobby, Ill go out on track and park in the grass and see which way a majority of people are going and follow suit.
 
I just get in my Silver Chrome R35 GT Academy Edition (For Gold S License) and say, yeah? Well you'll never have one of these.

Takes a baws to persist thru the BMW Nur Sand Chicane and Gold it.

S license was so easy. didn't even change aids and I used a Ds3 lol.

Its funny when I beat people online with the RBX1 and they ask what my settings for the DFGT are and I'm like, i don't use a DF.
They like, what wheel then? I reply, DS3.
Then they proceed to spam my messages with insults as to how I'm either cheating or trolling.

I just reply, "Just cause I don't need to spend $500 on a wheel to win...."
