Worst you've dealt with online...

Went into one of the most annoying drag lobbies ever, it was Honda only (why are these lobbies everywhere?) and the host was an absoluted d****e. He kept kicking everyone saying that they were hacking when it didn't really look like there was any hackers in the first place. I was going to leave, but I ended up rejected instead for no reason. I don't hack, don't know how to hack, nor want to hack.

EDIT: This same host was also spamming "LMAOFF" or something like that.

Sometimes people fail to mark their rooms as "private" even though they're racing some exclusive event or something.
And sometimes people fail to mark their rooms "people from X region only"... and kick anyone who joins with a non-matching flag.

So, out of the blue, this guy contacts me. here's the conversation:

"Hey man i have a 434 mph hacked car i need to get rid of 4 a cheap car. u interested?"

"Uhh... what are you looking for? :S"

"idk man like a lambo or 2"

(at this point, I already know what's going on and I ask him some trivial questions)

"What car is it that you want to trade with me?"

"idk it was like a redbull or something r u just gonna trade or wat"

This guy is full of bogus lies, but I decide to play him on. I accept his friend invite, but he has already stopped playing GT5. I sent a museum card dud (probably the best use for them) and I replied "K, I sent it." I pay close attention to my friend list. He suddenly logged off without the whole "logged off 'x' minutes ago" thing.

He fell for it! he absolutely fell for it! :lol:

I love it when I'm drifting my Matte Black DeLorean, and honda fan boys call foul, saying its a FF car and I'm hacking. Ohmahgawd so funny cause they don't know what a DeLoreans drivetrain actually is.

It's RR is it not. I was not aware the delorean could be painted, did this happen in a recent update?

You might be hacking because you can't paint the DeLorean, and I don't know if you can even paint it through hacking

Yes, the Delorean can indeed be painted through hacking. I have 3 of them painted in Silver Chrome, Formula Chameleon Green, and Gold Chrome.

That's awesome! Now only if you could repaint/remove liveries from racecars and put new ones on.
 
Having not been on GT5 for a few weeks now, I haven't seen any hybrids first-hand yet. :P

I'll try to get on tomorrow and see what the fuss is about. :sly:

I also have a Tony Stewart car with Red rims that match the car. Looks pretty sweet. It has no other upgrades, just the painted rims. Thats the only type of hacking I have done is paint the previously unpaintable cars. Haven't done any other modding, just the paint. If I do decide to make any hybrids, they will be realistic and I will only use them offline.

^^ I'm thinking about entering that event of yours Johnny. Sounds like fun, and I'm tired of getting yelled at by idiotic 4 year olds who want X2010 engines in their Civics, Miatas, etc.

OK, sorry all, I made a mistake, haven't been in my DeL for a while, the wheels are Matte Black, not the body, which makes it look badass.

I probably sound like a right tit right now, but the rest of the post still stands correct

Word of warning, putting NA engines in Turbo'd cars ruins the engine note, so it's not worth doing unless you don't care about that kind of stuff.

I put a Turbo'd Z28 from a '69 'Maro into a DC5 and the note from the 'Maro blended in with the note from the DC5. I've got only one word for the sound.... AMAZING!!!! All it needs is that nitrous oxide flare and pop combined with a livery editor and this thing will be a beast!!!

You got a point there. "Drifting" and "Red Bulls [X2010s]" do not belong in the same sentence except for "You can not drift Red Bull X1 Protoypes."
