S license was so easy. didn't even change aids and I used a Ds3 lol.

Its funny when I beat people online with the RBX1 and they ask what my settings for the DFGT are and I'm like, i don't use a DF.
They like, what wheel then? I reply, DS3.
Then they proceed to spam my messages with insults as to how I'm either cheating or trolling.

I just reply, "Just cause I don't need to spend $500 on a wheel to win...."

Hell, I did the same thing. Bad thing is, I don't want to bring it online to experience the crap end of GT5 online.

Every time I pass someone on a straight, they Pitt me. All of the hacked cars In drag lobbies, I'd say the most idiotic encounter I've had was with some kid on Indy. He wanted to drag my acr vs his x1. Obviously he won. Then he said I have to give him my acr(wasn't even for pinks) and when I said "go f#%k yourself he told everyone I was a scammer lol

Kicked for no reason from a cops lobby earlier. The host accused me of hacking when I wasn't driving a hacked car. I sent him a lovely worded message shortly after. Wasn't happy. :grumpy:

A couple of days ago while I was drifting on Suzuka Circuit, my 'lil bro trips on the power cables shutting my PS3 off... it wasn't his fault, and he was scared I would get mad at him, but I didn't.. I think I did piss off/ frustrate some people though. To add to it, my controller died at the end of my drift; all I heard before my bro tripped was honking as my car skidded towards a group of drifters waiting until the guy (me) finished drifing.

CallMeDan_ if I hit you, I do apologize.

I exited about 2 minutes after you entered the lobby lol. I don't care if someone hits me as long as it was an accident or it didn't happen in real life.

So therefore I doubt you hit me at all.

Ah, no worries then. It was a good choice to leave, the room was full of inexperienced drivers and high powered cars with LOTS of camber; three key causes of wipeouts.

South Park Ike quote "don't kick the baby"

Haha! I wish he was a baby (or at least 10 yrs younger) that way, I won't have to worry about where he went out, who he's hanging out with, what he's doing, peer-pressure, etc.
I always find him with his friends and I worry because some of 'em look like potheads. I actually tried to sneak up on him with my car, but it didn't work out, as he could hear me coming from a mile away.

I drifted a Peugeot 908 in that lobby. WHAT ARE YA SAYIN'? HUH?

Being kicked by the host for driving better than him in monza.

Had moments like that before. Me:Z31 300ZX, Host:Riced Z33 350Z.
Results:Z31 wins by 6 seconds due to host going off at Ascari at Monza. Right after i claim my money, KICK!!!!

I'm always skeptical and curious as to the mitigating factors involved in hosts kicking people "who beat them" in a race...
I've kicked people from my rooms that have beaten me, yes. But it's NEVER been just for them beating me... It's been because they've done it by driving really dirty in a room clearly labeled "clean".

Well, at least you got your money... :)

Scene 1.
Host: No cars with front downforce for this race.
Player X: Brings Audi R8
Me: The Audi R8 does in fact have front downforce, is it okay to use?
Host: No response
Player X: Starts argument about Audi R8 not having front downforce and that I should read it's #@$% description.
Me: But it does, it won't show up in the settings until you add a rear wing, but it's definitely there.
Host: Audi R8 is okay to use.
Me: Okay, good. Just wanted to make sure.
Player X: #$€%∞!!@§!!!!!!!!!! -> Ragequit. Later sends me message about how wrong and stupid I am, that I'm a lousy driver and that all Swedes are the same and that he has told the host to ban me.

Scene 2.
Race around Nordschleife.
Player Y is right behind me, coming up to Schwedenkreutz. Player Y tries to make a pass by cutting out on the grass on the end of the corner. We end up side by side coming up to the sharp right corner, but while I'm on the tarmac, he's on the grass. He tries to turn back onto the tarmac, but I'm already holding that spot and wont give it away to someone who tries to overtake by cutting corners, if he wants back on the road, there's plenty of room behind be.

Me: Starts braking in time for the corner ahead.
Player Y: Can't brake because driving on grass.
Me: Making a perfect corner.
Player Y: Making a perfect crash. Then rants about it to the host who immediately kicks me.

Scene 3: Indianapolis, race around the oval course. 10 laps or something. It's a close race, the lead is shifting a lot through the first laps. Coming up to lap 3 or 4, the Shelby GT350 next to me lose the balance on corner exit, spins around, hits the wall and takes out a couple of cars coming from behind, including Player Z. Player Z then deduces that I must have been causing the crash because I am now in the lead. Player Z decides to punish me by turning around and driving the wrong way. Each time I pass, he aims for me. Each time he misses me and takes out some poor fellow behind me. This goes on until the end of the race, and by that time another car has also turned around, driving backwards. After the race I ask what the *** he was doing, he accuses me of cheating and driving dirty and that if it was a clean race he would have won because he had the fastest qualification time.
Shelby driver says that I never even touched him.

Unbelievable!

About scene 2... that has happened to me before but Im careful.. if I see someone doing the same thing I slam on the brakes and watch them crash... most of the time, being arrogant doesn't help.. keep that in mind, mate.

When the host goes AFK, the trolls come out to play........

Meanwhile in a laggy-as-s:censored: drift lobby, several Danish players decide to bring out their Red Bulls. One was an X2011, and the other was a black X2010, which could only lead to the assumption that it was the 100k Red Bull.

Well, when you bring out a noobish experimental racecar to a drift lobby, there's hell to pay. Oh RS 6! Where are you? I need you to bash the crap out of some noobs!

A humble approach is the best approach. The only one of these situations where I've actually been "rude" (if "rude" is asking what the 🤬 he was thinking when he decided that it was a good idea to go backwards during the race and try to hit me several times to stop me from winning) is the Indy episode. The Audi R8 thing was simply a question, as I wasn't sure if I or anyone else were allowed to use it and even when Player X started arguing all I did was simply to say that if he didn't believe me he could check it himself. At the Nordschleife episode I never even got the chance to say anything, as opposed to Player Y who had plenty of things to say after he had crashed...

It hurts me to see how stupid the GT5 online community can be sometimes.

These situations are extremely rare though, it happened to me three times over a period of three years. During that time I've had hundreds of great races, so for me the online community is still pretty awesome.

It has happened to me too a couple of times. I'm on and off with racing online, but it is very annoying once it happens.

There was a time I was in a Red Bull X race, legitimately in 1st place (SSR7 in a 2010), when I got my doors blasted off by 2 GTRs and a Camaro. While doing 292 MPH.

The worst I dealt with today was the following:

- Having little to no luck in getting into any lobby, I kept getting disconnected from servers.
- When I managed to get into one lobby, it was a 550pp race and I was pulling out one of my Audi R8s. The race was a disaster, a couple of dirty driving jerks ruined the race for everyone and there were crashes after every 3 corners.
