Anyway, I went into a room yesterday and there was someone who had one of the ridiculous HP cars. Well the other people were screaming and cursing the guy out for it over the mic. I found this funny. Well they ended up kicking the guy out. After that, the same people that were screaming and cursing him were going on and on for about 10 minutes about it. I eventually said "ok, great he's gone, let's move on". I was kicked for basically getting on with my life, while they were probably still whining and complaining after I was gone. Quite funny.

The update killed off the realistic hybrids but not the ridiculous ones from what I gather.

I still haven't updated yet and I have that 100,000 HP X2010. If I do update, will it survive?

It probably won't survive after updating but I can probably resurrect it if I have all the modded stats it previously had recorded somewhere.
My theory is if it only uses the HP multiplier, it will survive. Who knows, I'll have to save this for another thread.

Please, don't. If you do, keep it in dedicated servers or offline. You'll just get more hassle joining free run room with it.

Don't worry about me, I don't play online, it's just not my thing, plus many of the things said on here is why I don't bother anyway. I only have hybrids just for my own personal amusement.

There might be something wrong with hybriding if PD implements a patch because they don't want people to use the game the way it was NOT designed to be used.
It's not even worth trying to explain it to them. It just goes through one ear and out the other.
Way to tell someone that you respect their opinion but disagree with it.
Hybriding is a lot of fun and it's not harmful to the game at all, that I know. I just think that if devs take their time to release a patch to prevent people from doing that, it isn't cool to do it anymore.
I support hybriders on the point that PD exaggerates here. But I still think they should get their PSN accounts banned or at least warned.

Was in an Indy Road Course map doing drags and tuning when some 12 yr old kid and his friend joined up and started ramming us when we pulled ahead of them everytime during a drag. Whenever they'd "win" they'd brag and gloat, everytime they lost they'd call us hackers or blame it on a bad launch. We eventually all ganged up on them by hopping in our tank cars and pinning them everytime they got on the track.

Probably.... I love it when I can "change" a drag room just by showing up in my Born to Race Impreza Replica. As soon as I pull up I would say "Who's interested in REAL drags?". Most of the time it would work as people would recognize the car and change to slower ones.... but not always...
One time, when I tried to pull that "trick" off, I was jumped by three GTR's, four ACR's, five ZZII's and a Dodge Ram.... I didn't make it to the pits. (Was trying to be fair in the chase, and DRIVE to the pits.)
There is nothing that I hate more than generic drag lobbies...

Lololol on mount aso that could be a problem. I had a 500 that couldn't climb the hill after losing momentum due to a hit, the car stopped and couldn't get moving again.. It was so embarrassing and helpless that the Mustang behind me had to pull up and give the 500 a shove.

Joined a race at Suzuka, I was in a Lotus Esprit (500pp, SS, for fairness) I held off at the first few corners, let them brawl and gained places from it. Everyone spaced out so I went for it, I was 6th, approaching 5th in a GT86, closed in on him under braking, went to overtake on the straight after the hairpin. He decides to "rub" my car into the Armco. I drop to 7th nearly 8th. 4 Laps later, same guy (now in 2nd) I get close and literally just make slight contact, he over corrects, again and again, then he goes off. After the race he said "WFT? U rammed me" I replied "I merely tapped you, blame your setup, or your ham fists." He said "No. U rammed me!" I replied "you intentionally braked way too early to force me into the gravel, and you rammed me on the straight." He got pissy and proceeded to chase me in free run and trying to spin me out on my faster laps. He eventually decided to turn round and proceed to ram everyone else, he got kicked, swore a lot at the host, swore a lot to me, swore a lot. Eventually tried to get me to swap his 86 for my Esprit...

2nd race on a lobby in Nürburgring, I was on my CTR2, first turn a lot of people crashed (normally), I ended up 6th place, moved up to earn 2nd for the next few turns, not even one minute in the race the host was in first place and I was right behind him. He cuts a turn all the way through the grass which actually let me pass him, he does the same in the next turn crashes me really bad, when I finally got in the track again in 7th place until like two guys crash me again ending up last and kicked by the host for some unknown reason
