I hear you. I appreciate your honesty.

Yeah a lot of people don't know that. The tires, flywheel, and l clutch plates don't affect it, but the HP parts do. A lot of people forget that.

i try to explain this to people time and time again and they still don't get it

Joined a room a bit ago that specified no X1/F1... The host was driving a X1 ramming people left and right. Like... dude, seriously?? I then left and found a good room thankfully.

Whatever happened to good hosts?

By "good host" I mean one that doesn't get up, walk away from their PS3, and basically let the lobby erupt into chaos. Hosts also should follow the original restrictions set by the previous host. If the title sums up what the lobby is about, they should stick to that one thing. Cops lobbies shouldn't turn into overpowered cars drag racing down the Mulsanne Straight at Le Mans.

And if numerous people alert you that another player is causing problems, KICK THAT MORON! DON'T LET HIM JUST STAY THERE!

This is what I want a host to do if there is a problem.but, some hosts is too stubborn to kick the guy.

I find that a lot of the time, the person asking to kick someone is the source of the problem. I usually ask for the accused to represent himself :P

last time I checked hidden parts have never mad anyone 3 seconds faster than he already was
And you never seen my true speed I always held back when I raced against you guys because you are clean and winning every race by ten seconds plus is no fun. And I never said you where a bad driver or couldn't tune. Don't put words in my mouth and I would also like it if you stop spreading rumors about people being hacks

First off, I don't even know who you are so as far as "putting words in your mouth" ..what are you talking about??? You may be reading into or drinking too much Kool Aide your cheating buddies are stirring up.

I merely pointed out the fact that I was not interested in racing in a league that had teams using parts accessible only through hacking. I was not given prior notice of this and was allowed to assemble a team of racers. Upon my withdrawal some of the Team 7DS members chose to make it personal calling me slow, claiming I didn't know how to tune…etc..all while they were driving hacked cars.

I'm not interested in engaging you or anyone else in a pissing match about who's faster..who won more races..who cares? I'm competitive enough to enjoy racing others who don't cheat.

In the meantime, I'll also enjoy watching your fellow hacks getting booted as they slither their way into legit race rooms only to be swiftly removed. If you haven't learned by now, GT5 is a tight nit community and word travels fast.

My apologies to the OP if my postings veered off topic..however it certainly reitterates "my worst experience on GT5".

Guys, can we please keep it on topic?

Huh. So much for that. I really don't want this thread getting locked. It is one of my favorites on this whole site.

OK.. back on topic... couple of weeks ago, I got into a fight with a 15 yr old in a drag lobby. He kept on hitting everyone and being a complete jack:censored:. Long story short, I got kicked instead of him... I just laughed.

I was in a Nurburgring track day lobby testing out my new RX7 TC tune I built up. I was about to complete my timed lap when some ding-bat in a purple Enzo comes screaming around the final corner backwards and ends up slamming into me. Still managed to beat that lap, but not nearly as much as I would have had he not crashed into me.

I was in a Japanese Eiger Nordwand lobby and literally nobody except for me and 2 other guys knew how to turn on dirt, instead they just bounced off of my car to turn. The problem was that my car had the least power out all of them so at every corner I was leading the noob pack, ready to get rammed while the other two guys that could actually turn were so far ahead you couldn't actually see them at all.

Guy told me PD "Made the hacked Civics nd sent then 2 mates who sent them an Pilypony got mad".

Not the worst. Just stupid.

That reminds me of when I managed to beat a Suzuki Escudo with an Impreza RM on Toscana. A Citroen Xsara Rally Car almost beat him as well. Pathetic.

Who would want to race with hackers? Or in a league of hackers. Or a league with a hacker?

If this thread gets locked, I think I might end up leaving GTPlanet. :(

Bye! It would certainly be no loss to the GTP community if you were gone.

Please leave. Hacker.

So much hate for "hackers". Tsk tsk tsk.
Seriously though, if your only goal is to act all tough behind a keyboard and attempt to insult other members, you deserve to be banned. You seriously never have anything pleasant to say. Why waste your time? Don't try to force me to argue with you. I'm not going to put this topic at risk by arguing about pointless stuff. Grow up.

You know, I hate hackers as well but learned how to live with them.
You definitely crossed a line here.

Thank you Mad. When I'm by myself or in a free roam I'll sometimes use cars that have stage 4 turbos in them or some other hidden part, unless the host disallows hacked or hidden-parts-enhanced cars. However when I race I'll use legitimate cars that have parts normally available in the game. When the rules are set in place, I'll play fair. Therefore, I'm not deteriorating other players' experiences. I'm not sure why Chrunch lashed out. It was completely uncalled for.
Glad you understand where I'm coming from Mad. ;)

Anytime

Quite a few of my GT5 friends like to hack, they regularly use their cars when we set up cruise lobbies. I can't change that, obviously, so I gotta get used to it I guess.

Who knows, maybe I'll get into hybrids soon:sly:

Anyway, stories (well, not really)

Something that irritates me in drift lobbies is how people don't seem to understand that they're the only ones on the track - hence, when they spin out, they decide to turn around ON THE ACTUAL TRACK. It's rather irritating when I'm drifting in my Z4 and I lose (controlled loss of) control because I have to avoid someone who span out and is now parked perpendicular to the track.
People, if you crash or otherwise go off, please go to the side of the track where you won't crash into everyone trying to get past you.

+1 this goes for any lobby nowadays...

God damn it guys, hacker; legitimate player. Doesn't matter, as long as you ain't a douche to other players. Being a jackass is worse than any 100,000 BHP Civic.

Now. Move on.

Oh I hear you. I mean once or twice fine, but every time you spin out? Some people don't have common courtesy, or common sense for that matter. I am leaning towards them not having common sense.

When I'm in a drift lobby with players that are CLEARLY more experienced than I am, I pull WAY over to the side to let them pass and not interrupt their good run.

Well, I pull over in every lobby.
