Rightly so. No one likes an absolute No**nd. Not saying you were though but generally people like that do it everywhere.

I think this thread is for weird people "you" found, not how weird are you.

On topic though, the other day I was saw a "team" room open (drift), one that I normally pass through. I get in, and the person hosting it wasn't even a member of that team! The guy (the leader) that normally hosts the room always has it as "fixed host" so it closes when he leaves, but I didn't see him there. I ask the person, "hey, where's so and so", "oh, I kicked him, he was being a jerk". WHAT! "you kicked the leader out of his own team room lol", "oh, he was the leader?". I've never seen anything like this before, I was cracking up and eventually we got the person to leave and we shut the room down.

Let this be a lesson, if you are not part of the team, don't use their name! I've been seen a lot of people using team names in their username and rooms, that aren't on the team they're representing. Don't do it! It doesn't make you look cool, especially if they catch you!

The only rule in dirty racing is don't drive backwards. I often host dirty shuffle rooms and I will first give a warning to anyone driving backwards and if they keep doing it, I kick.
 
This happened a long time ago but I can still remember it. Way back when the PP limit was introduced, well probably a few weeks after it was introduced, I decided to try out a PP room. First race goes well and I won.

After it the host asks me to "change the pp". So I look on the "regulations" tab, all greyed out. Event settings tab, all greyed out. Track settings, all greyed out. I replied "I can't". He says, "just choose a pp". I say, "I don't know how". Then the other members of the room reply with things like "painful" and "cringe". I continue to try and change the pp settings but in the end the host just changed it himself.

Anyway, next race somebody else won and when they won and the host asked them to change pp, they simply replied "300" in the text box. I remember going bright red and just thinking, 🤬 hell. Felt like a right tard and they all thought so too.

Certainly not the worst, but certainly an awkward experience. I've never encountered any form of racism on GT5, I think all of it is down to the types of room you join. I only ever join low pp, mics off or clean shuffle, mics off. I suspect if you join the kind of rooms on TGTT with boost on strong etc, then you're far more likely to get racism and idiocracy.
 
Was racing last night and in the first lap of the race, I passed someone, had a decent lead on them, start braking for a sharp turn ahead only to have them come up from behind. They rear-end my car, call me a [BLEEP]-hole and pass right by.

I mean, seriously, there's a difference between braking and brake-checking, I have no desire to race dirty.
 
My worst experience online was about a month ago. I joined a room COPS 75MPH. We hadn't had any problems until this guy joined...**** I can't remeber his game I.d. So I was a cop and one of my other friends was in the room with me. As we pulled this guy over he put his headset on and started screaming at me and my homie cause we were not going the speed limit. I chatted that he was going over 200mph and that we had a right to be chasing him. So he just started ramming me. So my friend rammed him back and pinned him against the wall. So then this guy freaked out cussing at us, calling us names, shouting racist comments. So me and my friend were like ok stop screaming and let him go. Well come to find out a minute later he hated my guts. Tried ramming me, hit the wall, had a spaz attack, and tried again and again. Finally I had had enough with this guy and he was cussing and screaming at us the whole time. These are some of the things he was saying (not my words) YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES YOU INDOLENT ****!!! We were thinking this guy was crazy. Then he actually messaged me and told me that^ again. So I messaged him back and told him that I hadn't done anything wrong. So after I sent that to him he sent another back. Well I'm gonna report you anyways. I messaged him and asked him why. He said because I was cyberbullying him. So I sent him this: first of all you started it. Second of all I didn't do anything. Third of all: you were making racist comments, cussing, and calling people names so if you wanna talk about cyberbullying you should be the one reported. So it takes him a couple of days before he messages me back saying ok please don't report that wasn't me playing it was actually my wife. So I'm messaging this guy and ask him if his wife was there so I could ask her why she was so angry and demeaning when she played, it turned out she was on her period and was drinking. I tell yah the BS in the world these days.
 
Spanish players. In the majority of my experience, dirty, obstructive, rude, bigoted and racist.

Clearly always exceptions to any apparent theme though.
 
I was testing and tuning the midget online when some irritating 13yr old decided he would keep ramming me with his LM race car, in the end i decided to take the moral high ground and leave.

Me in chat " As you are a immature 13yr old and I am an adult I will take the moral high ground and leave."

Him "you should."

Me " Goodbye Moron"

What I hate about online is that if you use a small car, you instantly take abuse because it is not fast. I recently obtained the midget it has a good Pwr/Wght, therefore i was adjusting settings, bust suddenly the hole server starts hitting you. I have had the same experiences with other low powered cars.


One of the things i hate wiht this game it does seem only cars with 200000000HP are used, good job i have my K-Car racing league every Sunday :D.
 
You kind of slipped and fell down the high ground once you used the word "moron", you're only stooping to his level. Never do that.
 
to me it seems like every time i go into a TGTT room theres always a little cluster**** in an x2011 (because they arent good enough to win it or reach lvl 40 and buy it) "dragging". well i just do laps around the track as fast as i can drifting my 670 SV. (IDGAF if you dont think its drifting cuz its AWD, their drifting speed is higher around a corner than a RWD). well that poser runs into me while doing what he thinks is dragging, then gets mad at ME for messing up his drag race, then follows me around the track trying to spin me on the corners. but as i am drifting, i brake hard, and he misses my back end. then they either get a Dodge ram or a tank car and ram me. one even had the host kick me. that just isnt right -.-

That happens to me all the time they think it is funny to show that there car is faster, by driving behind or alongside then flooring it.

Just hit pause and watch him fly right through you. Then be like that funny chineese character in The Hangover and say "Who's laughing now b*tch" :)
 
On a clean racing room on Cape ring,we use nissan gtr touring car (the blue one),really poor traction,almost everybody spins,and i got false start for not pressing the brakes,by using extremely gentle with the throttle control finally i see someone that just get on the track after spinning than i overtake this guy using the ghost feature,after the race finish he says "cyg rams" (everybody calls me cyg,don't know why),i don't say anything,i rather quit myself than get kicked by host,so i did,i leave the room with a sense of revenge,now i hate clean racing room

I joined the most interesting cops room a couple days ago...
So, here's what happened: I was bored, nobody that I felt like driving with was on, so I shuffled through all my friends and saw that one of them was in a room. I clicked on the little orange icon, saw that it was a cops room, and joined. So I join the room and enter the track with my black Range Stormer. Meanwhile, several kids are barking away on the mic, yelling at somebody. I barely make it out of the pits, when a blue Maserati comes up behind me and starts blaring its horn.

"PULL OVER!"

So, I pull over, and wait for him to state his deal. Apparently I was speeding, and was let off with a warning. Fair enough. A couple laps go past, and I change to an '83 Nissan 300ZX. I start driving around the track, this time at a more lively pace, since all the 'cops' are busy yelling at supercars. Then suddenly...

"PULL OVER!"

No, I don't want to pull over, thank you very much. You could at least be polite about it. So, I continue driving, whilst the blue Maserati tails me.

"PULL OVER, PULL OVER, PULL OVER!"

This kid just kept saying it over, and over, and over again. He didn't attempt to get in front of me to slow me down, or pit-maneuver me, no, he just insisted on repeating himself; quite obnoxious, really. Finally, he gets distracted, and I drive off. Then, a very odd ritual begins. The host orders everyone to line up at the pits, insisting that if everyone doesn't show up, they're getting booted. I continue to drive on, not really wanting to listen to the bossy little guy. A couple minutes later, the host leads everyone around in an X1 "Police Car" for a 2 lap "lol press the gas pedal and go really fast" "race". Uh, ok. The 2 lap "race" ends, and everyone goes back to speeding around, and the cops go back to verbally berating the speeders. A couple minutes later, there's another 2 lap "lol go really really fast" "race", followed by more clueless speeders and angry cops.
Oh, and whilst all this is happening, I keep hearing:

"PULL OVER, PULL OVER, PULL OVER!"
"I WILL HAVE YOU KICKED!"
"STOP ALREADY!"

Finally, I leave and go to my lounge for a peaceful round of cruising. What an odd room that was. :lol:

I almost always race my WRX STi '08 in most rooms. I was racing the same model car on SSR7 and had been wrecked earlier by a Veyron that though he was awesome. So coming up to the final stretch I had a huge run on the car. I started to pass and was blocked. Then tried to pass the other way and ended up pitting the guy. He spun out and ended up dead last. He then began yelling at me and calling me "a dirty Jew." I'm not Jewish. What an idiot. If you try to block me to the point you're making hard contact, I will not brake for you.

I was racing in a Daytona room called "Muscle only" and I come in using my ZR1 RM, only to find a room full of Enzo's and GT-R Black Edition's. So I go along with it for a few laps, even pull out an Enzo of mine to do donuts on the infield. But the second I pulled out my Midget, he kicked me for not using a "muscle car".

I was racing in a Daytona room called "Muscle only" and I come in using my ZR1 RM, only to find a room full of Enzo's and GT-R Black Edition's. So I go along with it for a few laps, even pull out an Enzo of mine to do donuts on the infield. But the second I pulled out my Midget, he kicked me for not using a "muscle car".

Yesterday I joined a cops room on the Nur and it was all fine and the cops were pace cars and then someone joins and says that they are supposedly a girl and "she" said that cops should be X1s. I said it was stupid and then I pulled out my 2001 R8 race car and then a minute after I start driving it "she" says that cops are race cars and I said that I'm not a cop and "she" asked "Then why are you using a race car" so I then said "Well this is a racetrack so it would make sense that I'm using a racecar." "She" then told the host to kick me for no reason and he said ok so I then asked "Why should I be kicked?" Then he kicked me.
Such stupid people that are being such a kiss a** to people that are "girls". In one room I said that I was a girl then people randomly add me and I then tell them that I wasn't a girl and said that was the only reason the added me. I have someone who doesn't even talk to me on my friends list (he added me because he thought I was a girl). Seriously.
 
Just this morning I was running a track day at the Nurburgring "no assists, good drivers".. Bombing along in my NSX and a guy in a 3000GT asks for the damage to be turned off.. I didn't know damage was even on.. Until after I watched him slide off the track and then on his re entry abruptly cut me off.. Leaving my NSX nowhere to go but straight into him, the only bit of damage it would sustain during its entire stint.. Hmm maybe damage wouldnt be an issue if he could drive in the first place! Oh and then in another room my GT86 also got caught in the middle of a fight between an R8 and a CRX, they'd pass me, bash each other.. One would wreck the other guy, the wrecker would slow down to get another piece of him, then they'd come banging up the straight behind my poor little Toyota, which was merely trying to drive, at least they had the courtesy to not take my car off the road in the process.
 
More recent worsts online:

Having fun with some good drivers when this dude enters and won't stop cussing and saying racist or otherwise derogatory comments to every single person in the room. It was such a great room until he entered and I forgot about the audio mute option (my bad).

Having more fun with decent drivers when someone who seemed cool apparently flipped out because he starts ramming everyone, he's not racing at all anymore and his only purpose is to mess you up... the host is absent, with auto-start running. Again, an otherwise perfect room if not for this jack hole.

I guess that's all for now.

I was in a GT500 room. We were racing on SSR5 with no aids. I was running behind two (Guy A and Guy B)battling for position when Guy B wrecked Guy A and I narrowly made it through. After the race is over Guy A, who got wrecked, complains about being wrecked and tells the host to kick me. In my head, I was thinking I didn't do it so I should be fine. I responded by text saying "I didn't wreck you. Guy B did. I was the one who passed you." Guy A gets seriously mad sends me messages. To make it worst I get kicked. I never have raced a GT500 race since.
