I was in a GT500 room. We were racing on SSR5 with no aids. I was running behind two (Guy A and Guy B)battling for position when Guy B wrecked Guy A and I narrowly made it through. After the race is over Guy A, who got wrecked, complains about being wrecked and tells the host to kick me. In my head, I was thinking I didn't do it so I should be fine. I responded by text saying "I didn't wreck you. Guy B did. I was the one who passed you." Guy A gets seriously mad sends me messages. To make it worst I get kicked. I never have raced a GT500 race since.

Thats happen to me two it sucks and actually I think I was in that room. For the record I was not involved.

The fiat 500 that stalled almost at the top of the hill in a Mt. Aso cruise room and had to be pushed over by the Mustang behind it because the piece of 🤬 couldnt get up any further and was blocking traffic . Oh wait.. That Fiat was mine. :banghead: so embarrassing :banghead:

I am in a drag lobby with my friend. we are testing out nissan gtr drag tunes together and this guy in a Konica Minolta Toyota LMP starts to hog up the drag land. our nissans could keep up, so why not? the three of us line up an start dragging. when we hit 150, Guy B starts to turn left and right and hit us. he pins me into the wall and I come to an abrupt stop and does the same thing to my friend. a the end of the race:

Guy: I own

Friend: no, you didn't. you kept hitting us just to get to first.

Guy: nahh you just jealous of my speed

(at this point, my friend becomes the lobby host.)

Me: says the guy who uses a race car.

Guy: nerdy <removed foul language>

At this point he proceeds to swear and rant off at us while we defend our logic. Another user started to argue at the guy because of the way he was dragging. It eventually turns into an argument about old people's cars (?), racism (?!), and whose grandmother worked in a brothel the longest (?!?!?!?!#%$^%#) Later on...

Friend: okay, I'm gonna leave and send you the tune, okay?

Me: sure, and I'll send you the Gallardo Superleggera replica.

Guy: yeaa <removed foul language> leave

Guy: leave u <removed foul language>

(Guy) has left the room.

Friend: Kicked... Like a boss!

Me: ... Like a moderator!

Other people:
"good riddance"

"LOL owned"

A few minutes later I get mail from the Guy: a plethora of garbled swearing and words I can't make out just loosely floating around in a message. He complained how I was "a cheating lil <removed foul language>" and a "dumb <removed foul language>" I was. Human logic fails, even out of a lobby.

At times like this I challenge people to race whoever is the best on GTP. I once told a guy that if he thinks he's so good he should verse Sai-66 (epic drifter) and you know what? They never answer back. Challenge them to beat someone on GTP and they will be beat. Simple

A challenge such as that is quite silly and really doesn't prove anything in most cases. Unless the person in question really is saying that he/she can win against anyone, then that's something you can pull that card on.

I just joined a room that one of my friends was in. There were four people in it (including me) and the host started the race. It was at Daytona, the Speedway. Two DB9s and a Ford GT No Stripe. The PP was limited, so I grabbed my Ford GT, the premium one. They were more busy trying to pit each other, and I just kept driving. When I lapped the host (in the No Stripe) I was kicked and found a PM from him saying these exact words:

"Sorry brostr, but I don't allaw cheeting in my room"

I had no words.

That's a thing of beauty, right there.

Update: after messaging my friend a few times, apparently the host is claiming that he is Deadmou5 and that only "the cool people" are allowed in his room. That is how Deadmou5 spends his time: pitting Aston Martins.

A rip off of deadmau5. Who else were you racing with? Skrullex, nif party, 13th planet, bonga?

That is messed up.

You know what the worst part was? They were playing dubstep the entire race.

I agree, that would make any room bad. :yuck:

I got into a half full US Muscle Only Drag room. And as soon as I enter I can see that half the lobby is using Viper ACRs. And even worse the host is not even there! So I race a Shelby and it beat me. Next I race a GTO and the Shelby guy is the one who turns ghost to signalize start. Well as soon as he did that, he turned solid on purpose to make me crash. Then he said "Sorry I don't like Mustangs". I left.

So the message from this thread is that driving online in GT5 is like ... trying to have a normal conversation, in the comments section of YouTube, but with cars.

I really hope GT6 has an excellent A-Spec :P

More like trying to discuss quantum mechanics with a drunk.
Which I have tried to do before.

This thread is a gross exaggeration of reality. There's some bad rooms out there, and some jerks may show up anywhere, but that's the way any public online gaming in any game is. If there were some better filtering and identification options(and possibly driver ratings, but that can be tricky to get right) things would be a lot better, but it's not nearly as bad as some make it out to be.

I'm currently in a UK law cruising room, which states in the room title, left side. I was cruising on the left side going the opposite way, and I knew I would encounter a few people on the wrong side. Twice I came across a guy in a purple Lotus on the wrong side. So I told him, stay on the left side. He starts coming at me on the wrong side of the road, then uses the fact he's Canadian as an excuse. I told him that rules were rules. Ever since then, he's been chasing me around and ramming me. He's got out his fancy silver chrome Range Rover and has started chasing me, beeping at me and ramming me.

I'm outrunning him in a stock Subaru Legacy estate.

I am currently hosting my own room a TGTT, and about two hours in I kick the latest X2011 that joined. Two seconds later a message appears:
Purple420:"Gamer did you kik Fox?"
Me: "Yes".
Purple420: "Why?"
Me: "I don't allow X2011s in this room."
Purple420 (Who is in a gold chrome Veyron): "She's a girl. A hot one. And she owns a Veron spoert."
I don't respond.
Purple420: "Gamer! Get your rwd veron and drag me"!
At this point I am ready to kick this guy. Now, for about 20 minutes I have been sitting in my Aventador so I can see all the peoples cars but I am still on the coarse. Purple420 tries to ram me twice.
Purple420: "HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT!!!"
I kick him. Then he sends me an FR. I put him on "Ignore User".

Don't post names gamerdog. It could get you in trouble! ^^^^

I'm starting to worry about the health of people's brains these days.
