You got mail. It's the pal version file of Prologue. Maybe that will help.

thanks a bunch, oddly enough, mine is also the PAL version, but it's got a different file (wich by the way, is also different in the chinese version).

at this point i doubt it will work, but i won't lose hope just yet ^_^

STRANGE ! i burned 1 cd with 5 tracks ( paris tarmac,paris rally,nürburgring, capri and snow ) - WORKS !

then i would burn another " Compilation " with paris tarmac,capri,HongKonk,Nürburgring, Paris Rally - and it freezes at the loading screen before the start compile it 2 times with CD-Rs that 100% work with PS2 ! ( very slow Burned )

is it maybe important, which track you rename with the original name ???

Ok good luck. I could also try to send the Japanse file (if it's on the disc..). A mate of me owns it. But i guess that won't work etc etc.

Okay i might have missed something here but ill ask anyway.

Do you have to have it on DVD discs, or can it be done with standard CDR's?

If it has to be done with a DVD ill ask my mate to do so, and i might have to do the disc swap way to try and play it.

I am spewin, i have my ps2 which i use, and i have a chipped ps2 sitting on the floor, but its cable going from the on/off and open/close buttons is screwed so the machine cant be turned on.

I noticed that some of the start billboards where different because of being an unfinalised build.

The ring looks quite odd without any scenery, looks like your racing at the north pole or something!

Can anyone play SSR5, Las Vegas.....etc etc, the other ones on the disk??

The Guys have obviously worked hard over there in france, And i see no reason why once they get there hands on the BMW demo, that they arent going to be trying to find a way to hack it out and into prologue.

Those Guys are Dedicated to Bringing GT4 out of the closet 👍

I've got two videos 20mb each but they have no sound because when recording, it was causing it to drop frames for some reason.

I had a go at doing this and got everything done as per instructions ...
... but the file GT4.VOL seems too large for a regular CDR ? I have the file at 712,363 KB can anyone tell me If that is the size It should be? ... am I supposed to go buy 800mb CDR's to get this to work or is the file supposed to be less than 700mb after completed successfully and I've just done it wrong? Thanks in advance 👍

With nero you can enable overburn. It should fit up to 740MB on a 700MB cd

As the only one that looks nearly complete and considering the scenery and the drive it has ... Capri is my fave of the new tracks so far
I will make another disc with some of the other tracks tomorrow Thanks a lot for this cool sneak Demo disc for GT4

Yes I would like to play on it, but what I wonder is how would it be raced? By laps? How many? Sure its a nice track ans all but I cant emagine endurances in this track, but knowing KY and his midsets, and all twist, it would be in a Endurance, a very long one too.. Nursnow looks nice butis it the same length as Nurburgring Nordschliefe?

Put paris_tarmac into grandcanyon or assisi, and it will be ok.
When you put a new track into a slot track, the new file must be smaller than the original one (if it is bigger, the game freeze during track loading).

Great stuff this al is! Yesterday I immediatley started on de rip of GTP, achter following the instruction I burned the cd with Nero. Run the swapmagic cdboot and then the cd. Unfortunately no success. Has anybody got this working with swap-magic-disks? If yes wich tracks did you put on. My cd (paris tarmac,nurnburgring,las vegas,nursnow, capri). No luck sofar!
