M4 in Black (new muscle sucks, especially v6. If it were the new Boss 302, though...), old for all the trucks, and 308, because I've always wanted a Ferrari.

I'm sorry, but did you just think that? Do you care to explain your little opinion here? I would really like to know.
New muscle sucks. Too much technology. They're more like sports cars now.

When I drive a muscle car, I want it to be loud, agressive... I want it to be, when you hit the pedal, it nails you in your seat. Shifting into second brings you out of it for a brief moment, only to have the power push you right back in.

The lower-end modern ones just don't do that. I rode in a 2013 GT at my... Third (I think) car show. It was absolutely the most boring muscle car I've ever been in. It just didn't have that feeling that a 69 Mach 1 does. Also doesn't look as good in my opinion.

And just to show that I'm not just against the mustang, new Camaros don't look, or sound, nearly as good as their ancestors. I can't say performance wise though, as I've never ridden in one.

They're still pretty though, just not as cool.

Oh, I see why you think that now. You're a bit like Mr.Slash, old fashioned and can't stand the technology. I get it. I still have to disagree with you though. I understand the fun of the older cars, but the new ones are still awesome. They can corner better, accelerate easier, and you're right about them being like sports cars. That's the idea and I love it!

Yeah. That's my opinion, and I'm in the huge minority, but when I think of muscle cars, I think of raw, unrefined, monster engines that move like a bat out of hell.

The modern ones are too stable and refined to be on the same level for me. Still cool cars, and I over exaggerated by saying they suck, but in comparison to their glory days, they do in my eyes.

Mini Slash

I suppose. Ecxept I actually like modern supercars .

But seriously. They're good sports cars, but they're not muscle cars anymore. Some of them aren't even sports cars, like the Impala and Dart.
The Impala never was a sports car, and the Dart wasn't (except for the Demon and Swinger).

Both of those were muscle. What I'm saying is, they even missed the sports car mark in today's time. Now, the Impala is a crappy family sedan (as opposed to a nice one, back in the 60's,with lots of power, awesome looks... It was a car that a family man and a guy looking for a muscle car could buy) and the Dart is a... Thing.

The Impala was never a muscle or sports car, unless you count the SS as one. Not every '60s-'70s American car is a muscle car.

(I'm posting mainly to try out the +quote feature but also to make a point)

+1 @GranTurismo916

The Impala has always been an average family sedan with a high-performance variant once in a blue moon. It's the same with the Dart. The Impala was a very normal looking car when they were new and they always have been.

It truly boggles my mind at the number of muscle car enthusiasts that just cannot understand this.

Yeah? Classes are funny, what with the 458 being a sports car. Oh, and the Veyron, and the Hennessy Venom.

All that stuff is so amazingly subjectional, it's not even funny. The Impala is enough like a muscle car. Had muscle car parts in it. The engines were in Camaros, not sure on transmission...

The Lotus Elise uses a Toyota engine. That doesn't make it a people carrier or economy car, right?

Toyota makes sports cars you know...

If the new Mustang, Camaro, or Charger can be called a muscle car, then the vintage Impala more than qualifies.

Well, two little debates in one week, I'm on fire . Here's a new comparision. Country vs country 2.0: Supercar Style!

From America, we have the 2006 Ford GT (Assume 0 miles on it, brand new).

From Germany: The Audi R8.

Italy brings us the new California.

(Not really a supercar by definition, but I figured it could hang in there).

And Japan has... The Lexus LFA.

I can understand the Impala but I have to disagree on the Dart. It only came with 8 V8 options...

Merriam Webster defines a muscle car as:
any of a group of American-made 2-door sports coupes (Pictured above) with powerful engines (Hell. Yeah.) designed for high-performance driving (The Super Sports' purpose).
