hello . i have a ps3 and a g27 . i would like to buy a game with rally cars . which one is the best now ? thanks you for your advice .

This game gets better and better..really like the physics..less grip than WRC 4.

How about some friendly competition ?

The stage in Poland that sebmugi posted is short and fun..

Poland
Stage: Wieliczki
xXJojjeXx : 1.24.027

I don't understand why they didn't make the TX compatible for xb1 in WRC5 .. I am so disappointed and I hope they correct this soon.. I have been searching for any info I can find but have found nothing.. Does anyone know anything?

Anyone playing this on ps4, is the handbrake analog or digital(on/off) ? or both?

Curious if I can map it to my clutch pedal or if it has to be a button?

Was thinking of getting this game via digital download but after checking the PS Store and seeing @ £55 for the PS4 and checking Amazon and seeing the disc version for £38 I think I will get the disc!

How on earth can they justify such a high price for the digital download?????!!!!!!

Been looking forward to having a rally game on the PS4 for ages but I think I will have to wait for Dirty Rally to come to consoles for a true rally experience.

it's a pity, tried it. very very poor game. Got it back to the retailer immediately. Surprised but such a low quality. Now waiting for seb loeb rally evo and dirt rally.

I felt the same the first couple of hours..steering ratio is wrong..buttons on wheel not working..screentearing..fps.
The stages in deep forest and sunshine is bad, the graphics, the jaggies and the fps is suffering.
Hopefully they can patch some of the problems because on most stages when everything flows the physics and the force feedback is great. ( in my opinion ;) )

I've taken mine back now, started promising but I can't live with the faults.

The graphics are poor, too stuttery to play without getting wither frustrated or getting a headache, in order to patch that out they are gonan have to wreck the graphics even more. The AI are appalling, shouldn't be able to compete with wrc times in a jwrc car. The cars occasionally decide to destroy themselves whilst driving in a straight line, the Co driver never calls the turns in time, even when set to call them as early as possible. The corner cut penalties are too harsh and kick in without even needing to cut certain corners. The sounds glitch all the time and it takes too long to load.

To fix these issues they need to just make a new game.

Ok, now I undestand why you took it back ;)

Well, I'm having fun with it. Quite different from what I expected handling-wise and it did annoy me briefly by resetting my preferences to default, so that I had to remind it ;) I have to go to work soon, so will see again tomorrow if the game has remembered.

I did the first rally and the King of Spain challenge, which is a great stage. Quite entertaining overall and far better when it allows you to alter the set-up.

Second rally now completed. The handling on the J-WRC cars is really quite odd, but better on the WRC level from the few I've tried out. For me that won't destroy the game, as I'm enjoying the challenge of it (full damage, no assists and on 'hard' difficulty.) It's cool that the game allows you to set how far from the track you will respawn, which makes for some hairy moments amongst the trees or going down a slope.

I am a little disappointed in the minimal photo mode options - just a free orbiting camera on one of the views and nothing else, no focus, blur or the option to change your view-height - a shame really, as a strong photo mode can sell a game to far more people and is free advertising...

Still, that being said, I am still enjoying it - also, kudos to @sebmugi for his photos so far 👍 this is the best I've been able to manage

Don't expect much from SLR, Milestone's previous games were very low quality and they have almost no post-launch support so never fix bugs.

That's sad to hear. The WRC games were my absolute fav on the PS2. Looks like I'll be skipping them this gen. On X1.

The dirt/dust in those photos looks really bad, like it's about 10 shades lighter than it should be, or the lighting is completely wrong for it or something, it just stands out.

...So I just read elsewhere that this will only support Thrustmaster wheels on PS4. That's an instant deal breaker for me. Let's hope SLR or Dirt Rally support Fanatec on PS4, or it looks like I'll be going without a rally game :(

Just looks like dried mud to me, well in the first picture it does. I'd have to see what the effect is on stages like Mexico, Australia and Finland by comparison, as the ground there is different in colour and composition.

Had some fun earlier getting the trophy for completing a stage using the wrong tyres - plenty of good fun sliding around on ice - surprisingly realistic too.
