Found the perfect lap (1:23.9) at the last minute in quali. 
Unlucky on the first lap RPH, at Daytona I went into a wall on the first lap at a chicane too, and we both came back to finish second in those races.

Quali was ok, start was good. Got up to 2nd in GT but made a mistake and then ran wie amd dropped to 4th. Then got caught in a battle with fox and dropped to 6th before hitting a spun fox and getting a lot of damage, thus leading to me needing to pit. Caught and past fox after he pitted, then the tires went off and fox caught me. Then he spun, 5th was ok, aiming for more at HSR.

I was a little confused at the start. I heard "green flag" from a mic and got a jump on Dax who was sleeping at the start but passed him before the line so I gave the place back in T1 (reading the start rules, I shouldn't have done that). I then got stuck in traffic and was looking at rear bumpers for the first ten laps until I got away from the pack. Once the tires started falling away I made a mistake and spun off the track, which brought Frasier back into view but I still had a gap which grew again until the moment I was hit in the rear on the straight by a proto. Pitted to fix the damage and tried to make a comeback to 2nd on new rubber but fell just a bit short in the end.

Green for whole field from moment overall leader crosses the line. First few GT laps looked crazy as hell.

race went well until lap 49 when lapping lout and just tapping him to get damage, then a few laps later got damage again after getting wide after pushing to catch furi, then with around 2 to go i hit the wall again and limp home to the finish 2 laps down.
this is after having a great battle with nel for around 25 laps then was clear of him slightly before my first crash so would of been around RPH and nel when they finished

Great racing tonight orama tapped you wide a couple of times, sorry about that. Forgot you pitted early on with damage. A hard fought race in the end and I made a several mistakes this evening but all in all I really enjoyed the vaunted Laguna Seca.

That was fun race despite finishing dead last. If I got into anyone's way, I'm sorry about that.. I tried to get the hell out of the way as best as I could. See ya next week.

Its alright, I think I was a little too careful on the brakes and then one time (I think you were under pressure from Fraiser) I saw this 'vette sliding into my rear, which gave me damage and I couldn't keep up with smuffy, ect. Not bothered though, had a good battle with you until you had a half spin and I ploughed into your side giving me heavy damage. Then after you pitted, you caught me up before spinning, twice
