Round 2 - 17 FEBRUARY
Monterey Sportscar Classic

Laguna Seca
1 Pace Lap @ 50mph
60 Race Laps / 132 Miles

After the season opening Daytona race, where Ford dominated, both Ford and Ferrari are stepping up a gear for the inaugural running of the Monterey Sportscar Classic. Ford bring ChrisJohnson in to replace GT-bound DaxCobra, whilst Smuffy turns up for Ferrari. GT Category is going to be strong, Niop may be missing this weekend due to mechanical issues in practice this morning, but a large variety of cars, coupled with revised specs, may shake the running order up.

Race Control Statement To Drivers From Furinkazen
Last week I was satisfied with the lack of incidents at Daytona, but this week at Laguna shall be a whole lot trickier. The track is narrow and sandy, so be mindful of traffic. The most dangerous spot on the track for passing GT cars will be turns 6 to 9 - Rahal Straight, The Corkscrew, and Rainey Curve. Prototypes, be mindful you may have queue up behind GT cars for around 20 seconds before you can get clear. GT cars, watch your mirrors and hold lanes.

Also on a final note pace speed is 50mph, and form up only when you get on the front straight - green flag is right at the start line today.

Good luck to all! Furinkazen

good, apart from the fact I was left waiting for a mx-5 pre-season race room to open and it never did :)

I think I said I couldn't make it. Thought R1600 was going to. Blame him..

Edit:

Furi
with a delimited engine to get to the specs of the 289.

Delimited?

Is that a word?
