I'm over 35 minutes away driving the car like I'm going for pole at bathurst,

Had to leave as my playstation glitched out :(

Was gain on Sagaris hand over fist but oh well. I enjoyed what I did, this is a great series Furi and good luck with you snookering tomorrow :)

Well crap, I ended up starting on Comfort Softs, which was probably a hangover from some seasonal event. :grumpy:

Joe wins by nearly a lap, me and RPH ended up scrapping whole of the final hour, epic stuff, especially me having 14 lap old tyres holding his fresh-rubbered car off.

Congrats to Sagaris in GT, poor luck ORama, great sport of Frasier to come back after disappearing for 15 minutes.

Tonight you all showed the spirit of endurance. Well done everyone

Simply put that was easily the best race I've ever taken part in. I may have pitted a few times more than I planned to with damage but I still managed to come away with a decent result. Loved it.

Great race tonight 👍. Even though I was solo for most of it I still had great fun. Unlucky to Orama though, would have been interesting to see how that battle ended.

I was trying so hard to catch you, if i didnt crash after my pit stop i just might have done!

I wish I hadn't missed the start, great racing though, wish the connections were more stable, was awaiting an epic battle between Sagaris and racorama,

i disconnected on lap 10 after my only stop and was in between furi and yeratel after pitting from around 25 secs behind, i only pitted as i didn't want to lap the GT's on worn tyres out of fear of taking one of them out and causing damage to both of us,

not sure how i would of done in the long run as i would of had to go around 10pm anyway

Le Mans Report:

At the start, Randy accidentally quit and autodrive Fox off. Restart and we all formed up, but Chris got a cracker and made it 3 abreast to turn 1, I braked so I wouldn't hit him, and RPH hits me, and Yeratel gets hit by me. Me and Yera pit. All GT cars made it through except for Fox having a spin and Randy going off in Porsche Curves.

Chris DC's around half an hour in. I just drive and drive. Sagaris and ORama gap the field in GT. Yeratel goes off early on in second hour and I take 3rd. RPH has a series of incidents and drops back, one pit stop the gap between us. ORama pits, having done half the race on a tank of gas, around 5 laps better than the Cobra. However, he DC's soon after. Cruel.

Near end of hour RPH pits, I go in front of him. A spin in the final part of the Porsche Curves damaged me - I wanted to go 13 lap stints, but only had a 13/12 done. So I duel RPH. I'm on 12 lap old tyres, RPH barely a minute. And yet we keep scrapping, I keep him behind, until after I put 15 laps on my tyres I half spin. However this long stint means for the final 13 laps I can go by myself full out max attack. Fraisier stopped in pits for around 8 laps for unknown reasons but got back going.

So final hour. Joe has a major spin, but gets away with it. DK hits the tyres head on in the Mulsanne, flinging his Corvette off as I dodge. And me and RPH are at it again. But trying to hold him off, I hit Smuffy's Mustang! Front vibration makes low speed corners a pain. But i'm helped - RPH has dirty oil, I don't. So I can draft by. Few laps left, I have a couple spins. RPH goes off and pits twice but reels me in.

3 laps left and its on. "Pace Up" says RPH. My response is paint trading down the Mulsanne. I use my top end to pass him on run to Indianapolis, not without contact and him doing 200mph on the grass!!! Next lap he's trying to bump in the rear, I respond to his braking with a tap, both of use nearly out of control - as TDZ says "Ya know the track goes right at Mulsanne Corner!". More contact into Indianapolis, hell RPH is trying to just push me around, i'm not having this, so I responds with a little nudge (ok quite hefty but.....) and then my 13 lap old tyres give up, and i;m 3rd. Sagaris takes home GT honours as Joe masters Le Mans.

EDIT: 2 to go - me and RPH sandwhich Sagaris at 200mph in the middle of the kink on the Mulsanne

Interesting strategy for the end of a 3 hour enduro with heavy damage Furi :P

RPH was fender bashing with me, he was actually bumping me along, and I wasn't going to give in. Raced very hard for sure, great stuff 👍

Unbelievable pace in the Jag! 👍

I was coming out of the pit after my last stop when you were coming down the pit straight and you DC'd. It could have been a tight battle to the finish, one mistake would have settled it. But it was not to be. :(

Also, sorry about the damage I gave you in the first stint. That Jag is so fast, yet brakes so early, it really caught me off guard.

Well as long as you both had fun and it was mutual fender bashing, that's all that matters 👍 If I were in your place I would be having a heart attack about getting engine damage or being knocked off into a wall, especially after 3 hours

It was cool 👍 - he bump drafted me, I had bad tyres so braking was bad anyway  , and we had over a minute on Yeratel I think. After 2 and a bit hours of driving conservatively, I had to push.

Awesome start and good battle with Smuffy for many laps until I ran off at the Ford Chicane and spun it, good battling with lout (sorry for getting into the back of you at Mulsanne) and was in good position to get 3rd (2nd with orama disconnecting) but then had a huge shunt at the exit of the Porsche Curves, thats when I parked it and caught the end of the NASCAR race and had some food, came back for the final hour and just had fun driving the track.

Great racing from everyone and cheers to Furi for running a great series 👍

Also, have to note, this was the second longest race I've ever raced in GT5 online. The total time came up a little less than 4 minutes short of my longest (a 500km Nurburgring enduro in Silvia RMs).

It's quite an accomplishment that 11 drivers finished the race, well done everybody. 👍

Longest ever for me either 👍

At least you didn't DC whilst gaining on 1st 2 hours into the race : grumpy: Oh Well, only ever DC'd from Furi twice, and both of them WSC. Oh, I did DC from my first TOCA event. Good race for at least an hour Sagaris!

Unbelievable pace in the Jag! 👍

Gah! The first hour was brilliant! No worries for the damage, I didn't know how good the AC was on the brakes; it only gave me suspension damage and the car seemed better than it was in quali! Did a 4:27.282 as my fastest lap after my stop. The AC was great at accelerating though. If only I could have finished! Was THE greatest race I've done on any game ever! Thanks Furi for running this series!

I crashed because I was taking a sip of Monster, and I didn't notice the tyre wall. :grumpy:

This was also the longest race I've ever driven in also. I have a couple of offs, one of which was barely a minute into the race and the other was on lap 8 in the Porsche curves when I had engine damage and had to pit. I did keep catching DK after pitting though which was fun.

The Corvettes where hideously slow and I was astounded at the pace of the Jag and Cobra down the Mulsanne, and also how far the Jag could go on a tank of fuel and 4 seconds faster a lap. FURI :grumpy:

Looking forward to Monza but I think the results will be similar to this as it’s another high speed track.

Great racing by all involved, brilliant discipline and gentlemanly driving throuought. 👍

Yes, but the Jag is poor in the corners! Good racing with you Ed, really enjoyed it! Your car was looking nice with the rims! The worst tracks are out the way. Monza and Pescara will be great! I only had 1 off when RPH was lapping me and he just caught my rear which upset the car and I lost about 5 seconds. My fault really, should have slowed to let you past. Hope you didn't get any damage.

EDIT: Furi, you could take your poll down now
