Awesome start and good battle with Smuffy for many laps until I ran off at the Ford Chicane and spun it, good battling with lout (sorry for getting into the back of you at Mulsanne)

Don't worry about it mate, wasn't too serious. We both made it back to the pits in pretty good time. Did you just carry too much speed into the corner?

Yes, but the Jag is poor in the corners! Good racing with you Ed, really enjoyed it! Your car was looking nice with the rims! The worst tracks are out the way. Monza and Pescara will be great! I only had 1 off when RPH was lapping me and he just caught my rear which upset the car and I lost about 5 seconds. My fault really, should have slowed to let you past. Hope you didn't get any damage.

EDIT: Furi, you could take your poll down now

Also, "WSC: HMS Jaaaaag" (below)

Yep good racing with you Rob. It’s a bloody shame you DC'd mate. There where groans of disbelief when that happened. No one likes to see that when a driver is doing so well.

Perhaps you need to read my tutorial.

Turns out that my router decided that it didn't want to be plugged in anymore :( it just turned its self off :( Oh well, enjoyed what I did! Just finished a couple laps at Monza. Fastest was a 2:01.672

Don't forget to collect your Furi's varicose Vein Cheese at 35P a KG as you leave Circuit De La Sarthe  its local produce to the region!

I always wondered what you were on about when you said that.

Standings to come before friday. GT spec tweaks to be carried out before the next race on March 31st @ Monza.

The Corvette seriously needs some more straight-line speed. I had rear downforce @ 5 and I was still being left for dead in others' drafts. :(

Ah excellent. Here is the boost for the Corvette that we need!!.....A supercharger LMAO

I was joking but the fact remains, what are you going to do?

I know what needs doing, I'm just waiting for you to say it.

Already got a plan ;)

Thought I'd upload some pics of the start. Forgive my lack of photomode skills.

I thought you said you were going to paint your Cobra a bright colour Sagaris? You're blending into the sand perfectly with that shade.

The photo doesnt help the colour, it was a brighter yellow than you think!

Great photos lout!

Nice photos lout. 👍

There's very little sand at Monza and Spa, I'm just looking ahead. :sly:
But at least it worked. Three hours of racing and no contact with any protos... well, outside of a qualifying mix-up.

The start went well, and some brilliant racing. Anyone who has replay should wind back to start of final hour and watch it from my view as I fend off RPH (ultimately unsuccessful).

There's no problem with the Corvette. I just did a quick three laps in the Corvette just now at La Sarthe and got into the 4'29s fairly easily, while hitting 158 mph on the straight (same as Cobra). Corvette lacks some of the torque driven acceleration of the Cobra from 50-100 mph, but makes up for it with superior grip, aiding braking and stability in high speed corners (makes the Porsche curves easy, not scary like in the Cobra). Corvette is fairly quick, very easy to drive, good tire wear, good fuel economy and is good in the wet. What is the problem?

Sounds like Toca with everyone complaining about car specs.. :sly:
