*NEWSFLASH*

Jaguar will join WSC with a new spec XJ13 next season. That's the main news ahead of next seasons championship. However a jaguar may still appear this season running as an invitational entrant in one of the final 3 events of the current season.

However, that's not all. Makes will be restricted to a maximum of 2 or 3 cars each next season. The GT class, arguably the success story of this season will return running on a new less durable sports medium tyre compound. Also a new 12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 points system will be in play.

Will the GT line-up stay the same or alter with new arrival(s)?

By the way, why did you kick the XJ13 out this season in the first place when it was in previous iterations?

I always see people hating on the Jaaaaag's sound... I think it's beautiful. Would love to drive it next season unless GT pulls me in.

GT mostly unchanged. Tyre wear will be higher obviously.
Jag was too fast and I wanted a ford vs Ferrari scrap, as jaguar is a different category IRL I think.

Aww, I wanted to see more European entries.

It never raced, remember? :dopey: But it was actually to compete within the same class.

The standard XJ13 isn't any faster than the Ford/Ferrari. The Chromeline is. 👍

But the XJ13 never raced so it's a bit unrealistic.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to race next season. I'm planning on working in England for a few months, so I might not be able to bring my PS3.

So I'm kind of new around here, but this sort of series is exactly what made me get back into online racing (for the first time since GPL, about 10 years back!).

I need a little more time converting from the ds3 back to a wheel, and probably a little more online time too before I commit to anything, but I really like what you guys have got going here. When are you planning on starting the next season? If there's a space in a GT car somewhere, I'd definitely like to apply.

Hi, were only halfway through this season so providing there's a space going I'm sure Furi will be ok with you taking part. You'll have to clarify with him though.

Mark I will see how things go, keep watching. And as for jaguar entries, I will do a TOCA-style "lock in" for next pre season. Chromeline will not be permitted.

Yes, it has extra ecu tuning.

Well, technically the original never had an ECU...

Wey hey, another GPL player. :D

Still only about 0.5 faster than the normal version, and last time I checked, the Jag was the slowest of the 3 cars :dopey:

Not really. They're all pretty even. It entirely depends on the driver as to which is faster. Some people go faster in the Ford, some in the Ferrari and some in the Jag. The WRS Dream Car enduro proves that- fastest practice time was set by Yanaran in a Jag, 0.7 faster than Twissy in the Ford.

And that's with 97.5% power for the Jag and 98.7% for the Ford.

Wait, there's someone faster than Twissy?
