Agreed. Driven it on Rfactor and a heck of a blast. Mulsanne Kink awfully scary however. 50 laps by the way = 3min 30 laps = 50 x 3min 30 = 175 minutes approx ;)

Although lap times will be more likely in the 3:32-3 region at least, if not 3:34-5 with the new sport softs. đź‘Ť

RH do 28s without tyre wear, so with they're probably at 30-31. So softs should be mid 3:30s. :)

Can;t quite do it all Elite..

Unless people actually want to do a classic Le Mans start? Line up on pit wall and go? - POLL UP!

If possible, could we start an hour earlier for this event (Le Mans)? I could do the whole event that way. Or maybe without a quali sesh and line up on the classic Le Mans start in championship position?

Don;t think an hour is possible. Perhaps 15 minutes at most. 7.45 has been Le Mans start for the last few seasons.

Why not go the whole hog and get people to line up at set distance from their wheel/controller and then run to their rig? :sly:

Imagine everyone filming it and then looking back on it after the race somehow with it all edited together. It'd be so funny.

Has that poll always been there? :dopey:

Erm

Ah, might not get to do the whole race then!

;)

 Oh my god that would be impractical.... but bloody hilarious!

Thats takes like 2 secs to turn on.. Also heavy damage and trying to line up like that could get troublesome..

IRL though they had around 60 cars. We have 16. Give a bit of room, one at a time, surely no issue, just get field to line up one by one against pit wall, pole sitter first.

I like the idea of all forming up against the pit wall. Might test my photoshopping skills afterwards.... ;)

It's definitely doable, I don't see why it can't be done. Good opportunity for pics too!

Le Mans always gets a 15 to 16 car turn out, often we get one-offs repalcing anyone who can;t make it.

Think we should practice the starts on Sunday and see what catastrophic consequences ensue
