Prototypes don't seem too spread out either. I say 2 seconds covering 5 drivers at least.

I have no idea what fuel/tyre strategy I'm going to use tonight. Just going to have to wing it.

Today's race wasn't fun TBH. It was ruined for me on lap 1, when I was rammed up the rear and damaged my engine. I could have drafted lout, but he pulled away, ruining my chances of catching up with anyone. The final nail in the coffin came when Lancer rammed me when trying to lap me on lap 10 at the beginning of the Hunaudieres Straight, and ended up lapping the track in ~5:50.

Racing for the sake of finishing ahead of Randy is more miserable than a Glenn Hansard album about this recession. 👎

Triumph. Heartbreak. Incident. Changeability.Crushing dissapointment, Incredible highs.

Tonight was the very soul of racing and the racing driver on display.

Bittersweet outcome for me, but congratulations on Panoz winning for Ford, and Yera for Lamborghini.

La Sarthe on GT5, thanks for the memories.

So... was it a good race then?

So... was it a good race then?

6 prototypes seperated by under 80 seconds for most of the race. I led first hour with panoz before grazing the wall at karting then Arnage. Panoz assumed the lead but got Randy'd. Jaguar and Lancer already had an early coming together. I got Randy'd late on catching up.

Pretty much we had top 6 all within a pit of each other, all on different strategies with different tyre wear and fuel levels. Oalith nearly made 2 stops work!

And Lout came back from an early lap 1 crash to be denied GT win by a second or so.

Meh. First 45 laps were amazing. They didn't make the last 5 worth it though.

That... was.. the most epic Le Mans ever for me. HOWEVER, I have to immediately have to apologize to @Furinkazen for the late race incident, didn't see you in the mirrors, so very sorry about that... Next, @gtpanoz for the mid-race incident, I had right front damage and I couldn't save it save my life, so sorry a bout that but congrats on the win! ;) Finally, @LancerEvo7 sorry about that early race incident, I barely clipped ya, and guys all three incidents were my fault, and especially Furi's I was the most :ill: to my stomach about. :( Anyway, with F1 USGP next week and after all of that.. I might sit out Eiger... not sure yet.... I will let @Furinkazen make that decision.

Actually it was less than that... only about 2 tenths separating us at the end, as I went very slow through the last chicane not to compromise the exit (rear tyres were very worn by then)...

Enjoyed the race even though for the majority of it I was last of the PT class, didn't see another PT car for the last 30 laps or so. Probably didn't have the outright speed to win but may of gotten onto the podium if I went incident free.

Think I got lagged into by @Osr20_L on lap 4 which probably ruined any last shred of hope of a victory for me, then pitted on lap 16, 26, 35 and 43. was planning to do a 4 stop until my damage on lap 35.

The only apology I want to make is to @DK for the lap 11 incident. I was standing on the brakes and barely tapped you. Lag probably amplified it, I know I didn't get any damage from it.

At least the Brazilian GP coverage starts at 4pm GMT, so I don't need to worry about choosing between that and Pescara.

Ran the early part of the race with Fraiser until he had an off then spent most of the race on my own except for the fleeting company of the PT's.

Well done to Panoz and Yera on their wins

Unfortunately I'll have to miss Eiger because of F1...
