And sunday night I started with a throat infection that had me sidelined all of monday...

Little adjustment. Going to simplify matters. To score full points you must have have covered 2/3rds race distance of race distance, class position regardless. Means that Daiba and Cami got just classified incidentally.
I guess another smack into the wall would have cost me drivers points. :scared:

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone here has a tune for the GT350 that they would like to share. I would like to try to have a more competitive car for the next race. :)

@R0ssingt0n ;)

Nice to see the co operation here by the way, me and @gtpanoz , @DrifterJoe and @FlyingFox , @snowgt and @rustyMercedes - it's good to see 👍

There's 1-3 GT6 setups for each GT-O car. I haven't tried them out myself yet. These don't all link to the exact post, but they will be on the right page of their thread. Don't forget to remove any camber that a setup has. Shelby first, since it was requested @CAMikaze . The rest will follow.

GT350R setups probably work fine on it too.

250GTO setups apparently work well too.

For GT-P cars, there's 1 setup for the GT40 (by Praiano), and 3 Cobra Coupe setups (I'm using Praiano's).

Silverstone is a great track even with the awful new Arena section. Turn 4 takes away from the flow of the course, integrating the club (wellington) straight was kind of pointless aside from the fun decreasing radius Brooklands, and the loss of Bridge is lamentable. Otherwise the track still has great high speed corners. Copse, Maggots, Becketts, and Abbey are a terrific challenge and Stowe is one of my all time favorite corners.

Furi are you going to do GT-O Manufacturers standings?

I have always use my own setups because I like to make car handles as I like it not what other think it should handles. I sure like to check those other setups but in the end I always make my own.

For my Fezza, I'm actually using Praiano's tune for the 250 GTO, as none of the 250 GT tunes were to my liking... and it actually works quite well on my car (although I should update the LSD, as sometimes I found myself cooking the outside rear tyre exiting the horseshoes)

I'm using stock suspension setup so far, and only changed LSD and transmission settings, because I rudimentarily understand these two and, quite frankly, I'd make everything worse if I tried to put a suspension setup together myself. But I'll make sure to check out those posted by Joe. Thanks for that!

Joe and myself are using Praiano's tune for the Shelby Daytona with our own LSD tweak to make it a bit more settled.

@rustyMercedes , @snowgt - I stopped doing GT makes a while back, as GT was always intended as more of a "privateer" division.

My tune has some history. Used my own originally before reverting to stock settings. Then I took Prianio's GT5 one and the stock one and worked from there. The one I used at Daytona was my own, adapted to GT6 parameters. Of course all for null when I put Le Mans gears on :banghead:

Anyhow:

At least Silverstone has plenty of room on either side of the track, so I don't see many needing to pit for repairs.
Whilst Daytona had some walls that are not usually there in real-life. If you got to see this years Rolex 24 of Daytona, you'll know what I'm talking about there.

EDIT: I created a could of countdown timer links for the next round of the series should Furi wish to use either or both of them on the first post. :)

Started testing for Silverstone today, current best is a 2:18.3xx

Does that seem anywhere near close to anyone else?
Online in a room or Free Run? I did a 2'23.9 earlier, but that was with standard settings. For some odd reason the settings I inputted overnight were gone when I did the runs. Probably didn't save before turning the PS3 off.

It's best to do your runs online, the physics offline are different.
Then I plan to do some online testing in a few minutes unless someone already has a room set up at the top of the hour. :)

Let's try this again if no one else has a room up already...

Lout has a room up. I DC'd. Got other things on my mind to do. Posted a 2:03.6 with easily a low 2:02 possible.
