Down to a mid 2'22 here. Maybe with a little fiddling about of the transmission, I can break into the 2'21's. ;)

Now if there was only a way we can see our names on the Drivers List in the Lobbies instead of our PSN handles. :D

Think we can test again on FRI at about 7:00 pm GMT again?

Curious if this series is still open for a new driver? I'd love to give your series a try; I think I own any car that would be eligible. I am curious though why the 250 GTO isn't allowed.

I think this is full for now, I'm sure Furi will put you down as a reserve though... The 250 GTO is being saved for future seasons IIRC.

For now we are totally full I'm afraid. And the 250 is being saved up... GT-O class is in effect a timeline of GT racing. ;)

I have a room open if anyone wants to practice. :)

Nice. :D

As for practice, I was able to nick a tenth off of my Best Lap. Sounds like the Transmission could use a little more room on the top end before I need to turn off of Hangar Straight.

Another curiosity I have......
How do you determine what PP or hp to set the cars at? Is this done I the honor system or are all cars held to the same limit? Can I know what these limits are to try my hand at some of the times you are posting @ Silverstone. I saw a 2:01 and 2:04 even up to a 2:22. Differences between your GT-P class and GT-O class? What cars ran the 2:01 and 2:04 as well as what car ran a 2:22????

Thanks for the answers guys and sorry to ask questions about a series I'm not even participating in.

Aim for a common performance all cars in the class can attain. Check the OP for entries and car list for specs and it will become clear :)

I did a few laps, wasn't anything too special as I got a 23.1, did either @snowgt or @Yeratel84 say they'd gotten into the 18's in GT-O?, don't think my car suits the track and probably missed my best opportunity to win my class

Soo... As an example the Shelby gets to use a supercharger that takes it to 350hp and at 1250kg it is the heaviest car. Makes sense that the heavier car gets more hp too. But why does the 250GT not get the lowest hp as it is considerably lighter than the rest?

It's simply about testing. Don't forget that the Shelby is a big heavy V8. Simply you got to keep testing and find out what the car performs at. Whilst power and weight are a very good starting point, you just got to do more ground running. And ironically, Shelby and Ferrari at Daytona were quite literally perfect.

The 2'22 you're asking about was the Shelby GT350. :)

Well if you were to participate and run in GT-P, I would say DO NOT choose the XJ13! :)
