The only bit I hate about the weather system is that it dries a tad too fast and the 1.05 update brought sudden downpours which means in 3mins the track is 100% and you have no idea what just happened.

I do like the idea of sudden downpours but the track did dry way too fast last night. Must have good drainage at the Nordschlife :odd:

And seemingly the heavy wets didn't deteriorate like they used to in the dry afterwards. They were seemingly just as durable as the sports tyres. Actually they had that right before - another thing changed for worse.

Bizarre weather. Irritating that the actual rate it gets wet doesn't change with weather changeability.

I quite like racing in the rain, it makes things more exciting in my opinion. Although I agree with the others in saying that we've had way too much rain this season. I think @FlyingFox's idea is a good one 👍

Yes. It has rained every single race. But still, we can all agree that Le Mans is the most important race to have dynamic
weather. After all, it is Le Mans. :sly:

Me and @Pluxtheduck and a mental scrap. @CAMikaze may have lost some years off his life after we split him under bridge after the long straight, I had major damage and 180mph countersteering across grass, Plux went 360 degrees and somehow we all made it and I was ahead
More like surprised when I saw two cars zip right past me at full blast. Again, this is why I wish they would have 'virtual marshals' in the game to warn drivers of a stopped car ahead of the track and take the needed precautions to avoid a recurrence of what happened at Sebring, if you know what I mean. :(

As for the race, it was pretty much a frustrating experience with my paying for a total lack of racing experience in the rain along with some miscues out on the Nordschliefe that produced the rather miserable result.

I thought you were in a 250 GT Berlinetta? :dopey:

Although you are reserve status entry only, you (and other reserves) are free to show for the Test Day from 7pm BST friday.
I'll be able to make the Test Day on Friday barring any last-minute interruptions since I'm off of work that day. :D

Will not be available for Fridays test session so I will be doing my testing on Saturday if anyone is interested.

BIG NEWS: As I was goign to tell you sunday night, the WSC is being radically overhauled calendar wise. We've always simulated the endurance calendar with Daytona start of year, Le Mans middle, and so on. Not anymore. The calendar will be overhauled from WSC VIII to simulate a full winter / summer series. We'll start at Brands Hatch and end at Le Mans for the traditional double points finale, which will suddenly be so much more significant.

WSC VIII will see us begin The Road To Le Mans.

Looks like it's me vs Snow again at the moment for the championship! At least I think it was us two at the top last season?

Or it might have been Yera? I can't remember...

I was in PT last season.

We had some good fights the season before that though…

And regarding this season, we're not even at half-time, so it's still early days. Yeratel has had one of his dropped scores already, but that's about it. All wide open.

The actual total points situation is, by the way, …

Snow (34) - Lout (26) - Yera (25)

Wait...so there will only be a couple WSC's a year from now on?
