I've always thought full engine break-in on GT5 was at 150 miles, but it's actually 200.

So my premium Garaiya and RX7 weren't actually fully broken in either. I've changed the results above to give the proper BHP and PP for each of these aswell as the IS350. This will probably mean the Garaiya and RX7 could break into the .2xx barrier with around 4 BHP more but it's nothing major.

the rx7 is fully broken in with 337 bhp:)

Yep I've got that. :P Before I had the RX7 at 335 I think, now it's 337. And the Garaiya was 348 before, now it's 352.

Has tracks been discussed? if so what about bring monza into it, i justed raced on it and WOW i love it lol.
I know its slipstream track but how about we take out Nurg 24hr and add monza enduro plus weather change? i think it will be great :D lol

But the ring is the best! :(

A month ago. I would vote no Ring. Beings I had to learn the track for our race. I am all for keeping it. Like another shot at that track. Had thee worst race there. Rain and tire related. Learned a lot.

Monza is awesome.

This is probably the final race schedule:
Schedule for WSGTC 2:

1. Fuji F 175 km (mixed class/2 div)
2. Tsukuba 175 km (same class)
3. La Sarthe 250 km (same class) / Time/Weather
4. Nurburgring GP/F 175 km (mixed class/2 div)
5. Monza 175 km (same class) / Weather
6. Indianapolis Road 175 km (same class)
7. Nurburgring 24h 250 km (same class) / Time/Weather
8. Laguna Seca 175 km (mixed class/2 div)
9. Monaco 175 km (same class)
10. Daytona Road 175 km (mixed class/2 div)
11. Suzuka 250 km (same class) / Weather
12. Finals: Top 4 from each class battle eachother out in the Acura NSX RM

Perhaps you could put this in the first post for easy finding if anyone is interested, Denilson. :)

Hi Chorda...

I would like to join in on this great looking series. I have read quite a bit of the early pages of this thread, but I am not current on the last ones.

If you still have room in the GT500 class, I would like to join.

Thank you,

Rees
(psn: redreevos)

Oh god, I'm starting to feel like I'm stalking Rees, but I'd like to join up as well :)

GT500 if possible as well. I'd be in the Xanavi GTR if that's okay :)

Thanks!
Patrick

(couldn't help myself :sly: )

Lol. I think this is the 4th thread we have both commented on in the last hour. BTW I left you a comment in the Lemons.

For this series, I don't really have a strong preference of which GT500 car I use. I am happy to pick one, or Chorda can designate one for me. Thanks guys.

Red, Sohn, I hope you enjoy your stay in the WSGTC! I can tell you right now...the parade lap before the race builds so much tension it makes the race so exciting! Make sure you practice with the car you pick before hand. I learned the hard way when I picked the ENEOS only to find out she's pretty spin happy with an improper setup.

LFMF

I've been running in both the Celica and '08 Garaiya. I don't know which one I like most, but I'm leaning on the Celica because I know less people will have it.

redreevos and SohnVonStig: WELCOME!!

As you might've noticed, we are racing the last round in season 1 this friday.

When we are done, we'll instantly start some pre-season testing the friday after. You're more than welcome to join.

Regarding cars: In the OP, you got a list of allowed mods for each car. You can pick any one of them, but you're not garanteed to get your car of choice. Each driver will have the opportunity to test which ever car he'd like during pre-season (prob 2-3 races during June). And when we are done with the pre-season tests, all drivers will PM me thir 1st, 2nd and 3rd Category of car to use.

Category A
Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R, Nissan YELLOWHAT YMS TOMICA GT-R, Nissan CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R

Category B
Nissan AUTECH MOTUL GT-R

Category C
Honda RAYBRING NSX, Honda ARTA NSX, Honda TAKATA DOME NSX

Category D
Lexus PETRONAS TOM'S SC430, Lexus DENSO DUNLOP SC430

Category E
Toyota CASTROL TOM'S SUPRA

Category F
Toyota YELLOWHAT SUPRA

Category G
Nissan XANAVI NISMO Z

Category H
Lexus BANDAI DIREZZA

Category I
Lexus ENEOS SC430

Category J
Honda EPSON NSX

Category K
Nissan WOODONE ADVAN CLARION GT-R

The 3 last categorys (I, J, K) will probably be removed from the WSGTC 2 cause of the trouble getting them up to a decent level, without changing the cars to that degree that they don't handle like GT500 cars any more.

We will only allow 2 cars from each livery. And we aim to get teams together as well.

Season will probably start in the end of July. A lot of us are going away for the summer, and due to that fact, we'll not start the season now. I know that end of July is ages in GTP-time, but I'm sure we will have a much more competative league if we start the season after holidays/wecation. 👍

Procedure will be the same for the GT300 class. But I need Aderrrm's help with the categorys, since I'm not that in to the GT300 cars. Aguess would be that both of the RX7's will end up in the same category, but it's all up to the GT300 guys to sort it out. Thanks to Aderrm, all GT300 cars are equal, and this will make the choice of car much less important than before season 1. And by the looks of it, the car of choice seems to be pretty well spread out among the GT300 drivers.

Here is the current list of interested drivers. The red questionmarks are guys who signed up, but have not been seen in the thread or participated in any test session.

This is awesome! I'm super glad Red and Stig decided to plunge in. Are you good with the race time as it stands now Red? You're on Pacific time like me so the races would be early afternoon Friday.

Oh and Deni. I have every single GT500 broken in now 👍

Interest list is looking good, Stig and Red are fast guys so it should definitely up the ante on the competition side of things.
And I definitely agree with holding it till July. I'm going out to Sydney in June so I won't be available for a couple weeks like you said would be typical.

Leaderboards are about done too, I'll send them over tomorrow.

Great Wardez. Yea, I recognize the new guys. Should be a great 2nd season as it looks for now. When looking at the interst list, I get more and more confident that we will get two classes that consist only of commited drivers.

Ok, if you got all of them broken in, I'd be happy to get some feedback from you regarding the allowed mods. 👍

Awfully kind words coming from someone as fast as yourself.

As my schedule stands right now, this should work fine.

redreevos and SohnVonStig: WELCOME!!
Thank you for the kind welcoming Chorda. I am looking forward to racing with you and the others!

Red, Sohn, I hope you enjoy your stay in the WSGTC!
Thank you as well Otsdarva. You all seem like a great group here.

Super Lap Qualifying

Qualifying will be held through live online sessions.

Procedure
  • A group of drivers per class will be given 2 flying laps to set a qualifying lap. The race will be set to 4 laps, 1 outlap, 2 flying laps, and 1 "cool down" (If more than 1 driver are qualifying, we need the 4th lap to not put any stress on the last driver in the pack since he tecnically could be more than 180 seconds behind the first car, depending on how many cars are at the session at the same time).
  • Laps will be run in 'Race' and will depend on track size. (Standard=2 laps)
  • Laps will be monitored and watched by fellow competitors to validate cleanliness.
  • The number of cars will depend on track size.
  • Once the race has been commenced, cars will roll on their warm up lap.
  • Cars must stagger a number seconds between each other to make room (about 20-30 seconds)
  • Standard '2 wheel on track at all times' rule apply (Check Post 3 for Racing Conduct 'Ch.IV Track Contact')
  • Once finished, spectators will declare if their competitor ran a clean or dirty lap
  • If a protest arise for a doubtful or dirty lap, the replay will be saved and checked.
  • If confirmed dirty, a timed penalty will be imposed depending on severity of offense. (Standard 5 seconds)
  • The process will repeat until we reach the limit of available drivers

NOTE: Any ballast forced upon you as a success penalty will not be used during the quali sessions. All quali-sessions will be with stock* cars.

*stock = A car that are moded/tuned by the WSGTC's diagram are concidered stock. Do not mix up the word "stock", as a completeley stock car from the dealership.

Rules regarding qualy-procedure:
  1. If a driver runs into ANY trouble during an official qualy-session, the session can under no circumstance restart. Unless:
If someting happens during the outlap, and you're the only car on track, the session can restart as long as the timer for the firts flying lap has not started.
  2. If a driver does not complete the 4th lap, and the replay file is corrupt, he runs the risk of not getting an official time, EVEN if the
lap was watched and verified clean by a spectator. (It's VERY important that you end the 4th lap)
  3. If a driver disconnects during a session, he may reconnect and drive up to that point where he got DC'd. If the DC occurs while on the 1st (2nd lap) qualy-lap, he may restart and this time ONLY his 2nd (3rd lap) qualy-lap will be valid. The lap where the driver got DC'd counts as "dirty" with no registered lap-time.
  4. If the car that DC's has any form of damage, but still are able to reconnect and restart his session, that drivers must damage his own car to the same grade of damage that the car had just before he got DC'd.
  5. If a qualy-lap is "dirty", there are 2 possibilities.
    a. If a lap-time beyond any doubt was slower due to an "off track/dirty" situation, no penalty is given and the lap-time stays.
    b. If a lap-time could have gained any time what so ever due to an "off track/dirty" situation, a penalty of 5 seconds will be added to the lap-time.

Qualifying Deadline: Friday 02.00 am CET / 01.00 am GMT and Thursday 20.00 pm EST / 17.00 PM (PST). The deadlines are Fridays (GMT/CET) and Thursdays (PST/EST) same week as race is held. Around 20 hours prior the race to give organizers
time to sort the grid, view replays find hosts e.t.c. Under no circumstance can a Qualifying lap be run after the deadline has passed.

Any of the Stewards or Capable Hosts, under the supervision of a Steward/Capable Host, can announce and hold qualifying sessions of their own.
No qualifying sessions can be conducted after Thursday (Friday, depending on time zone). Qualifying will be on hard Racing Tyres.

Setting Grid Positions on Race Day
We will set the grid by running a formation/parade lap. After the race countdown reaches zero, you must Hold your positions! DO NOT MOVE ONE INCH!. Remember your
spot from the qualifying results; as well as the person in-front of you and behind you.

Same class:
Cars move from the grid ONE by ONE. The Pole car drives up and parks about 100 m (300 ft) a head. (WHILE DOING SO, THE OTHER CARS DO NOT MOVE ONE INCH). When he pass the start-line, the next driver can move up, and so on. When all cars are in the correct position and are NOT moving, the pole car starts the formation lap.

Mixed class
GT300's will sort their grid positions first. While GT300's sort their grid, GT500's DO NOT MOVE.
GT300 cars move from the grid ONE by ONE. The Pole car drives up and parks about 100 m (300 ft) a head. (WHILE DOING SO, THE OTHER CARS DO NOT MOVE ONE INCH). When he pass the start-line, the next driver can move up, and so on. When all cars are in the correct position and are NOT moving, the pole car starts the firs of two formation laps. When the first lap is comleted, make sure to pass the parked GT500 pack with caution.
From here on, GT300's lead the formation lap, with GT500's about 60 seconds behind.

We use this procedure to make sure all cars got a decent chance at completing the race before the timer (max 180 sec) runs out. By doing like this, we also get final times for (hopefully) all cars. And penalties will be much easier to hand out.

With this in mind, follow the steps below:

  • First, you must remember your Grid Spot (Super Lap Qualifying)
  • Hold your positions when countdown reaches zero.
  • Cars will make their way ONE BY ONE upfront and roll as a separate pack.
  • Cars must roll in a maintained pace of 55 mph / 90 kmh
  • Field will roll double file (Single file for the Nurburgring 24h race)
  • Odd numbers will start on the inside lane relative to turn 1.
  • Even numbers will stay on the outside lane (Opposite side)
  • The Pole sitter will decide the Green Flag before the Finish line
  • You must maintain a minimum of One car length between you and the car in-front (same lane)
  • One car length is minimum, meaning it's up to you how large the gap will be
  • You must always maintain visual contact with the car beside you
  • You're bumper must not go pass the rear bumper of the car beside you, doing so can be viewed as a false start and a penalty can come as a result.
  • You must wait for the car beside you to accelarate before you do!
  • No passing before the start finish line! Penalties will be strictly enforced for false starts, illegal passing, and overall aggressive driving!

IMPORTANT: In case of a disonnect during the formationlap, the cars behind have to maintain their position, and can NOT move up the grid. Doing so can result in a penalty for breach of "jump start".

Real Life Example of a Rolling Start:

Raceday
Mixed Class: There will be 2 races held which will be split into two rooms. Each race/grid
will consist of Seven GT500 cars and seven GT300 cars. The top seven qualifiers for each class will end up Division 1, while the bottom seven will go to Division 2.

Same Class: GT500 and GT300 cars will battle their own kind. There will be only one room per class.
Top 14 qualifying times will make this single-room event.

Hosts: Announced 20 hours prior to the race.

D1.4: 37p
D1.5: 32p

11. 10p
12. 8p
13. 6p
14. 4p

Bonus Points/Race % competion:
Pole Position: 3p
Fastest Lap: 2p
Finishing race: All drivers will recieve points if atleast 10% of the race is completed before a DC.
% completion points:
0-9: 0p
10-19: 1p
20-29: 2p
30-39: 3p
40-49: 4p
50-59: 5p
60-69: 6p
70-79: 7p
80-89: 8p
90-99: 9p
100: 10p

Race Percentage Completion
Drivers must complete atleast 85% of the overall race lenght or he/she
will not earn a single championship point (bonus points is kept).
Points classification will move up accordingly. This means any D2 driver can
earn as much as finishing second overall.

How to calculate race % completion:
Just devide tha lap the driver was at when he got DC'd, with the total amount of laps. Simply use the numbers in the top, left on the screen. If I got DC'd at lap 13/78=16%, which will give you 1 bonus point.
The formation lap/s are counted, as well as the not yet completed lap. But we willalways calculate the race % completion like this and it will be the same for everyone.

Ballast: Succes penalty system
3 first cars from each class to cross the finishline will get a succes ballast penalty for the next race.
50 kg for 1st place, 30 kg for second place, 10 kg for third place.

Success penalties can only be removed with 20 kg at a time. And to be able to remove 20 kg, you need to miss the podium. If you keep hitting podiums, your success ballast will keep on adding up until you finally miss the podium.

Participation
To accommodate real life commitments (absences), only 8 races will be counted into your standings.
You can drop which ever 3 races you feel like.

Tie Breakers
  • Points
  • Wins
  • Podiums
  • Finished Races
  • Bonus Points
  • Race Starts

  • CONNECT TIME AND RACE TIME
  • ALL drivers must be in the room atleast 30 minutes prior the race. If not, you will be excluded from the race, and all drivers below will move up accordingly. We need to have 30 minutes to make sure that drivers have the time to change rooms/comming in from waiting lists.
  • All drivers must stay tuned of the situation 30 minutes prior the race by looking in this thread. If a driver is missing, a steward or the host for that race where a driver is missing will state that wery clearly in this thread. If a driver is missing in D1, pole for D2 will move up to 7th in D1, and the first on the waiting list will move up to 7th in D2.
  • This is a bit of a communication issue, and that's why I ask all drivers to stay sharp during the half-hour-mark prior the race to make the task as easy to manage as possible for us stewards.

1. Setup the Raceroom atleast 1 hour prior race start (Connect Time).
*Type: "WSGTC ROUND x"
*Track for that week, set to 175 km. Round up the number of laps. And remember to add the formationlap as well.
*Race For Real
*Number of Participants: 14
*Mic/Headset: OFF
*High (Recommended)
*NOT fixed room

*Penalty: OFF
*Grid Start
*Grip Reduction on wet track/track edge: Real
*Damage: Heavy
*Race Finish Delay: 180 (max)
*Time/Weather on the enduros
*Bost: OFF

*542 hp limit (When the race is about to start, let the car on track in PP order. From lowest to highest, you can let the cars to track using bhp as well. If we change the method we are using, the possibility to cheat will decrease)
*1050 kg limit for races that include GT300's/1090 kg for races that only includes GT500's
*Tyres: Racing Hard
*ASM: OFF
*TCS: OFF
*SRF: OFF
*Active Steering: OFF
*Driving Line: OFF

2. Post Room Number in the thread

3. Make sure to have the sarting grid close at hand. It will make it easy for you to answer any questions regarding grid spots.

4. If a driver is missing 30 minutes prior the race, you shall post in the thread that a driver from D2/Waiting list can enter. If the "original" driver shows up after you have posted that a spot is open, you have to kick the "original" driver. If a driver states very clearly in the thread that he for some reason will arrive late, it's perfectly fine. But he NEEDS to make sure that the host for the race he is going to participate in knows. Throwing a way a PM as a compliment to the post in the thread is a smart move.

5. Make sure to save the replay.

::::: CODE OF RACING CONDUCT :::::

I. Gentleman's Rule
Any GT300 car can use the entire width of the track, however, as soon as it is caught by a fast approaching GT500 car, the GT300 driver must hold its line and allow the faster car to go through at the first available opening. If for some reason the GT300 driver has been caught up in traffic and is unable to hold it's line, the overtaking car will flash his high beam lights to indicate that he is about to overtake. A driver that chooses to ignore the signal multiple times will be reported to the Stewards.

II. Passing
Who has the right of way into a corner will depend on the positions of the cars. If an overtaking car is fully alongside its competitor within or after the braking point, the rights to the corner goes to the overtaking driver. The car being overtaken must surrender the position and should not turn in to the other driver. Otherwise, if the overtaking driver is not fully alongside its competitor at the turn in point, the rights belong to the driver ahead, and it is the obligation of the car attempting to overtake to give the other driver room and do everything possible to prevent an incident. As we all know, peripheral vision is limited in Sim Racing so it is advised that you maximize the available resources we have, such as mirrors, track maps, and audio cues like engine and exhaust notes, to prevent incidents.

III. Defensive Driving
Depending on the situation, any car can be overtaken from either side of the track. You can defend your position only 'once' by changing directions. Anything overly aggressive like sudden movements (when the overtaking car is about to pass and is very close) or deliberately squeezing the car beyond the edge of the track or any other unusual change of direction are strictly forbidden. This is considered illegal blocking and any driver found guilty of using such a method of driving should be reported to the Stewards.

Driving down a straight and placing your car off or opposite the driving line far in advance before the braking point, forcing your opponent to take the outside line or a different line in general, is considered a reasonable strategy for defending your position. This counts as 'one move' - pertaining to the 1st paragraph above. Any more sudden movements right after will be considered illegal blocking and should be reported to the Stewards.

IV. Track Contact
a) Drivers must always keep 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
b) The edges of the track are marked with white lines and are considered to be a part of the track. Gray/Concrete cobbles are part of the tack.
c) The Rumble Strips are part of the track; however, all surfaces with green paint, either beside it or be the rumbles themselves, are not part of the track
d) Do not hit any objects visible or invisible (eg. cones, barriers, walls, etc.)

In a situation where the driver goes off the track, and without prejudice to part (e) below, he may rejoin, only when it is safe and without gaining any advantage.
Also, if a driver unintentionally or intentionally leaves the track and gains a spot, he must relinquish that spot or he will be penalized.

e) Drivers committing serious mistakes repeatedly or seem to have a problem with keeping the car on the track would be reported to the Stewards and could result in penalties.

At any given time during the season, drivers are expected to follow these rules. Any driver who deliberately appears to break any of these rules to gain advantage at any stage in the race or the season could be penalized by the Stewards as in the case of 'Excistor' during the 2nd race of the preseason, when he deliberately collided with multiple cars, resulting into damaged cars and ruined races. 'Excistor' has now been banned from the series.

::::: PENALTY SYSTEM :::::

Stewards have the power to impose various penalties on a driver if he commits an offence during a race. Offences include jumping the start, causing an avoidable accident, unfairly blocking another driver, impeding another driver when being lapped, or gaining an advantage by leaving the track. Penalties will vary depending on severity of offence. Stewards can impose time penalties, reprimand a driver, exclude him from the results, or suspend him from the next race.

I. Offences
  • Breach of the required vehicle specs and 'Race Rules' (minimum DQ)
  • Breach of the 'Gentleman's Rule' (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • Breach of Track Contact Rules (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • False Start (Passing before start finish of Rolling Start) (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • Avoidable contact resulting to damage (minimum 25 second penalty)
  • Hindering drivers from overtaking by changing directions more than once (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • Illegal blocking/forcing cars off track (minimum 10 second penalty)
  • Not relinquishing gained position/s after leaving off track (minimum +25 second penalty)
  • Rejoining track after an off without regards to oncoming traffic (minimum +10 second penalty)
  • Overall aggressive driving (minimum warning)

Any of the above can add up together resulting to bigger timed penalties and/or Disqualification.

II. Penalties
Specifics
  • +10 seconds to Total Time
  • +25 seconds to Total Time
  • +40 seconds to Total Time
  • +5 spots down the grid to next race
  • Exclusion from Results (DQ)
  • Suspension for 1 Race + Probation for whole season
  • Exclusion from the whole Championship

Breach of Racing Code - IV. Track Contact
Three Strike System

Strike 1: Warning
Strike 2: +10 seconds
Strike 3: +25 seconds (May depend after Steward deliberation)
Further track contact violations will result to bigger timed penalties and/or Disqualification.

III. Reporting an Incident
Issues must be first kept privately between the parties involved (through the PM system). If the said parties do not come to a mutual agreement, the issue must be escalated and reported to the Stewards within 24 hours after the race, otherwise, thanks to the crap replay system, penalties will not be given out or considered unless it is noted by the Stewards (If you are involved, it is your responsibility to inform the Stewards of your side of the story within the 24 hour time limit). Furthermore, if a Steward/s is/are involved in an incident, he/she will be excluded temporarily from the Stewards Committee.

indy022-1.jpg

Please disclose important information about incidents along with your report.
  • Lap/Time when incident occurred
  • How long did incident occur (approx.)
  • How many were involved
  • Who was/were involved

Deliberation Process
  • An incident is reported and/or noted by Drivers/Stewards
  • Stewards will contact driver/s in potential fault
  • After hearing both parties, Stewards will review the replay and give suitable penalties.

Enforcing Penalties
Penalties will be strictly enforced. They can neither be appealed nor reversed.

:dopey: How have I waited this long to join this!!!! :dopey: My eyes seriously just bugged out of my head reading the proposed first post :dopey:

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I'm pretty sure I have all of the premium GT500 cars already but I'll check and get started breaking a few of them in properly :)

I'll be there for the next test session for sure :)

SohnVonStig: Glad to hear you like it! 👍

It does'nt look that good now tbh. I have a lot of cleaning up to do. But most part of all the text is in there, so the time it will take to finish it up is probably tops 2-3 hours.

What I did not get in there was:

1. What a driver who don't show up for a race without telling will have to "pay" to get in the championship again. Probably donate a prize car. 250.000-1.000.000cr.

2. Prize cars for the winners

3. Teams

NOTE: Since we are going to have teams this year, we can only allow 2 cars from each livery.
For the GT500's, this is not a problem. But since the number of cars are pretty modest in the GT300 class, I'm a bit worried that we don't got enough liveries.

Subaru CUSCO DUNLOP IMPREZA (P)
Subaru CUSCO ADVAN IMPREZA (S)
RE Amemaiya ASPARADRINK RX7 '06 (P)
RE Amemaiya ASPARADRINK RX7 '03 (S)
Autobacs ARTA GARAIYA '03 (S)
Autobacs ARTA GARAIYA '08 (P)
Lexus WEDSPORT IS350 (P)
Toyota WEDSPORT CELICA (S)
Toyota APEX MR-S (S)

9 cars are eligable for the GT300 class. Is it to optimistic if I hope that 7 of them will be interesting enough for all drivers to feel confident with thier car? I know that all of the premiums (4) along with the Toyota WEDSPORT CELICA and Toyota APEX MR-S are OK to use. So, the 7th car, which one is it going to be? The Standard GARAIYA is the best choice if you ask me. What do th GT300 guys think?

Since we are running 14 drivers/class, 7 liveries is all we need.
The list of interested drivers are already filling up pretty fast, and what do we do if more than 14 drivers/class want to race. Ofc, all the WSGTC 1 drivers (Sorry new guys) that participated in at least 7 (Is 7 an ok number? 6 out of 10 does'nt sound like commited to me) rounds will have a free pass. But what about the rest, if it comes down to that we need to exclude some drivers. After all, we can't start a 3rd division. So what to do? I know that this is not the most urgent decition. Most of this pretty much salves it selves as times go. But just in case, what do we do?

Regarding the 7 liveries for the GT500 class, my suggestion would be:

Nissan CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R
Nissan YELLOWHAT YMS TOMICA GT-R
Nissan AUTECH MOTUL GT-R
Toyota CASTROL TOM'S SUPRA
Lexus PETRONAS TOM'S SC430
Lexus DENSO DUNLOP SARD SC430
Honsa ARTA NSX

The list above is with diversity in mind. Hence I remved the XANAVI NISMO GT-R insted of tha YELLOWHAT or THE CALSONIC. Nissan XANAVI NISMO Z was removed due to it beeing red.

But remember, this is not final in any way, just putting it out there for all of you. Please, I'd be glad to hear your opinion. 👍

Or: If we team up like this:

Nissan YELLOWHAT YMS TOMICA GT-R / Toyota YELLOWHAT YMS SUPRA

Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R / Nissan AUTECH MOTUL GT-R

Lexus PETRONAS TOM'S SC430 / Lexus DENSO DUNLOP SARD SC430

Toyota CASTROL TOM'S SUPRA / Toyota CASTROL TOM'S SUPRA

Honda ARTA NSX / Honda ARTA NSX

Nissan CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R / Nissan CALSONIC IMPUL GT-R

Nissan XANAVI NISMO Z / Nissan XANAVI NISMO Z

In this way, we get to use 10 different cars, but still get 7 good looking teams out of it.
Sure, some models can only be run by 1 driver, but that's the price we need to pay if we want teams.

On the other hand, we can let drivers send their 3 categorys of choice to me, and when we know who wants which car, we start putting teams together from there. What do you guys think?

Point system:
Mixed class point system:
D1.1: 55p
D1.2: 49p
D1.3: 43p
D1.4: 37p
D1.5: 32p
D1.6: 27p
D1.7: 22p

D2.1: 32p
D2.2: 27p

D2.3: 22p
D2.4: 18p
D2.5: 14p
D2.6: 10p
D2.7: 6p

What is the rationale behind the highlighted section in the point system? Why is D2 favored so much? Of all people I probably stand to gain from this as I'm struggling with the superqualifying format and usually do much better in races but it seems unfair that finishing 5th in D1 pays same points as finishing 1st in D2 (effectively 8th overall) :boggled:

Well, part because of the low turnout in the D2 races, part because quali-times can be 0,2 seconds a part, but one start 5th in D1 (with the possibility to end up as 1st), and the other 3rd in D2 (Who won't get the opportunity to end up in top 4). If this was a same class race, the possibility to win, even if you did not even quali, is still there. We don't want the quali sessions, that are already wery even, to have such a huge impact on the possibility to gain on a D1 driver if you're the "unlycky" one. And with this method, the possibility is there to actually gain points. After all, there will only be 4 out of 11 races that are mixed class. And since you can drop 3 rounds, you only have to participate in one mixed class race during the whole season if you don't like that format, but still be in the race for the total. And on the other hand, if you do like mixed class, you can drop 3 same class races instead and half of your races will be mixed class.

OK fair enough, thanks for the explanation.
