Ok this will be posted in parts.

Review:

The XFX 256MB GF6800 GT is a Shader 3.0 card whic is part of the last gen of NVidia Cards before the 7 Series came out. You can get a 6800 GT cheap these days now, I got one for about £205 which is cheaper then it was a year ago.

Which is when it cost nearly over £300 the 6800 GT was a classic with gamers who liked NVidia, but after 5800 Ultra came out.

People thought it was an end of an era for NVidia, but after that the 5900Ultra helped NVidia get back to there best. Once the 6 series came out ATi made there X850XT look to over priced against the 6800 GT.

So if you still have AGP and looking for still a great card which will let up everything in most games. Until the next real Graphic Pushing games come out in a year or 2.

Look no futher then the 6800 GT it still has the same amount of pixel Pipelines per clock like the Ultra. Expect it has just a tiny bit smaller clock speeds and a bit less FPS in most games then the Ultra.

But if your too power hungrey then buy an PCI Express and SLi ready motherboard, then you can buy 2 GT's. And see a big boost, but if you were going to go for SLi I would say buy 2 7800 GTX's or GT's.

Or just leave it and buy just 1 7800 GTX which can offer the same as 2 6800 Ultra's.

My Rating: 9.0/10

Well you wanted to compare scores, so on 3DMark03 I scored:

Pretty good, considering that it only used one of the cores through the whole thing. And my rig wasn't meant to be a gaming rig.

Not that compare when you upload the results.

Plus not all programs can use both cores programs have to be designed to use them, which i think any of the 3D Marks are not designed to use both cores yet.

Its been a while but I be doing the final 3D Mark Benchmark at a later time. Here is the Call Of Duty 2 Demo running on my GF6800 GT.

I post up what settings i have on in the next bunch of COD 2 Demo screens, i be doing.

This is a review for a 6800GT you know not a 6600GT just want to let you know that mate.

Some more screen shots of COD2 I reckon it will look better on my card once the full version is out. Ok in some screen shots the brightness is a bit more, and in some others it has been turned down mates.

I try and get F.E.A.R screen shots up today if i can pull myself away from it today mates.

Screenshots are nothing without framerates. Sure, we all know a Geforce 6-series can handle awesome graphics, but how well can it handle them (and at what settings) is the question?

You should run FRAPS in the background to display the FPS before taking screens.

I found out thats true R, but i see what i can find in consoles of games. Most consoles in games have a FPS option.

No, it's only true when you're recording video with FRAPS. The FPS display function doesn't make any noticable FPS differences (maybe .3 FPS).

I think i have found the right balance for F.E.A.R also I be running F.E.A.R on the NVidia v81.85 better drivers from now on. I tell you what i think when it runs in the beta drivers.

I plan on showing HL2: Loast Coast screens next in this review set in parts mates.

I'm thinking of getting this card in my new system.. the PCI-E version that is. I can't afford 500 for a card, and even if I could those extra 200 euros still wouldn't be worth the difference to me. 100 or 80 fps doesn't make a difference to me. Nice review.

Ok i shall do the HL2: LC screens later in the week mates.

Still finding the right balance between looks and speed in COD2.

But here are some screens I took. When I took these i forgott to put the res to 1024x768.

100 to 80 fps doesn't make a difference, but in the near future (read: now) when games require a beefier card, the difference between 20 and 40 fps is quite noticeable. ;)

I finally turned up most the settings, and I have bumped the res up to 1024x768. Once I finally posted up all screens of my games, i be finally doing the FPS counting by Fraps.

Still trying to find a good screen shot tool that works with F.E.A.R, will try and take screens with Screen Hunter again.
