XP Required For Each Level

I'm at level 26 right now, trying to plan my way to level 30 and unlock the X1 challenge before Christmas.

I'm thinking a Laguna 200, a couple Indy 500s and some good Monza grinding (18868 for 14 and 1/2 minutes in Dream Car Championship) should see me through to 29.
Same goal as myself. You may need to rethink the latter.
I have just reached level 28, and level 30 is nearly 1,200,000 XP away :boggled: .
I have done everything up to the Indy 500 so to open up the X1 challenge, the quickest way is 4 x Indy 500s :indiff: .
Just 10 hours then !

I am sorry if I offend anyone, however I find it easier to read the XP required in this format. Left column level you're in XP to get to Column Right. Ex. 26 to 27 is 306022. Some may read the original as 26 + 239080XP to get to 27, when in fact it's 306022. I was confused on it, so this is what I did for those that like it. Thanks to Hubble618 for starting this thread

Bloody hell! I just made it to 23 and trust me there's no way I could get to lvl 50 or even a platinum! I thought leveling would've been ... not that hard but time consuming ... I hope PD increase the XP rate significantly. Seriously, if you've made it to the maximum level, you are not a human .. but what about trophy hunters?

I thought there was going to be some extra stuff which grants XP like challenges but no .. you get a fixed amount of XP each race .. this is a hard task!

Once you get to 25 and can do the enduro's it's easier. I do Bspec when I go to work and bed. Everytime I have plans I put Bspec on, that way I get $ and cars, so eventually I can get my lvl 22 A SPec up there.

Why is everyone in such a hurry to complete this new sim?
Apparently many of you are not car/ racing enthusiasts and did not get this game for the enjoyment; but just to see who can finish GT5 first. I just don't understand. Am I the only one? Thanks by the way for the info.

I am in it to race, just don't have the time at the moment, so why not B Spec. Plus I injured my leg so sitting in a chair for hours hurts lol. I am in no hurry what so ever.

I'm at 31 now, omg so much grinding required. I'm glad there's B-spec, I know I'm not running Indy 500 20 times to get to 31.

Lol so true there buddy

How long will the Laguna Seca 200 miles race take if I used a Minolta or 908?

I want to decide to do the 4 hour or that to get to 28 faster.

Laguna can be done in around 2+ hours. But i did it with a slower car than the Minolta. Also I think you get more XP for the 4 hour, not sure though

I do spend an inordinate amount of time in Photo Mode ogling cars but GT5 is a game. If I just wanted to indulge my car enthusiast in me I'd be reading magazines, watching tv programmes or videos or going to race events. But I play GT5. And after a while there is nothing left to play because it requires too much exp grinding.
The problem is there is nothing left to do after a while but race the same endurance races again and again and again because the earlier races are useless for money or experience.
And using B spec is worse in many respects because ultimately you don't even watch what is happening. You start a race on B spec and then do something else.
The fact of the matter is there is a lack of racing events in GT5. There should have been Turbo/NA races in all levels, MR, 4WD, FR, FF races in all levels, country vs country races, power limited races (or better, power-to-weight limited races), one make events and more Rally events. In time the game becomes stale and very, very repetitive.
And people will always want to reach the next level asap to see what it unlocks.
To be honest though, I think the whole levelling thing was a bad idea.

holy ****... iam at lvl 29,5 right now after nearly 14.000km and daily gameplay since release... this is insane! I love it to get to higher levels, it's a motivation! but the way gt handle that is not the best... there should be new events because driving old ones again and again sucks! also the xp you get for enduranceraces is nothing... =/

I assume B-Spec & A-Spec point levels are the same? Please indicate as such in the first post. What's the use if having a car unlock at level 30 if you can't buy it until level 40!!!

Okay, got a question. I have just finished one of the b-spec endurance races and I went up from Level 32-33. I currently have 8086055xp and to get to level 34 it says I will need 1722749. Does this mean I'll need just 916694xp in order to level up from 33 to 34? Or do will i need the entire 1722749xp to get there?

So how much easier is leveling up going to be with seasonal events? Today I golded the SS5 race along with getting golds and silvers in some special events and I shot up from level 19 to 22! :D

B-Spec is the way to go for A-Spec EXP!

Why?

My B-Spec is LVL33 and A-Spec LVL29. In A-Spec I raced only 1 event (like the wind) and have only half licences done. BUT I did all specials except AMG+Vettel in Gold. Vettel I have 2 Bronze and 1 Silver. I am going to do Gold there soon as it gives a total of 6 Mio. Exp.

I will do any A-Spec Event only once and gain my Exp to LVL40 by Special and Saesonal Events, while my B-Spec gets in the money (Dreamchar Championship -> 1 Mio. in 1hr10min with the X2010).

My goal is the platin trophy but I have time to wait for it :D

btw. my B-Spec is running the Tsukuba 9h right now. He is working hard all the time while I am not playing ;)

I there i'm at level 26 A-Spec can some tell me a good race to grind a good amouont of XP with less time?
unfortunately i cant do the seazonal events because i don't have online

How is the XP calculated? will i get the points for starting 4hour race and waiting to the end without racing?

I just turned level 28 in B-Spec, but I'm not sure which races to do now for 29-30.

Up to this point, I was doing dream car championship for exp and $ but I've been hearing comments about doing endurance races from this point forward?

Any particular races to look out for? also, if I do the endurance races, would it be wise to leave the b-spec drivers on their own and come back a few hours later?

I have errands to do, but I'm too scared to let the minions on their own lol :nervous:

If you want Xp over Cr's do the Endurance races!

Lmao at the graphical representation! You'd think it would be a little more linear!

Only level 14 now and I haven't even smelled the grind coming. I might not ever get to play black ops again. :)

I haven't played Black Ops since GT5 game out. I did make it to Prestige 2 at least. Will admit it was getting boring and had to many issues with it on the PS3. At least the grinding on GT5 gets you something.👍

Thanks for the info ,,,Now I have even more info to Cheat my way up the ranks

First day of GT5 and I have Cheated my way up to level 7 in just one hour

By the time the weeks up I will be at level 40 Ha Ha Ha ,,,

Id just like to add something.

Last night I got to level 30. I barely leveled up over it, so I was basically an empty lvl 30. I then did the Seb Vettel X2010 challenge and golded everything and I am now a mid lvl 34. I'm definitely not complaining about it as it is great to go so high after spending a while grinding up to 30.

3 new endurance races have opened up to me and I think If I complete all of them I could easily reach level 36, but I am not sure. 35 is Le Mans 24 hour and that must be worth quite a bit of XP if not a level in itself. But then there is still going to be a big gap to 40 for the final race.

What do you think the chances are that we will get an endurance seasonal event thats worth some crazy XP?
