I’m honestly surprised Saab never entered a wagon version of this into porduction. If they did, I think it would dethrone the Volvo 240 wagon as the most hipster car ever made.

The first thing that came to mind, before reading any of the text, was the Lotus Elan.

Those headlights also sure look like those of the Fiat Coupé.

Very close indeed. They even have the same "double bubble" lens covers. But the shape is different. So it looks like Kia was more inspired by the Fiat rather than just calling up their nearest NAPA to order the parts.

Yeah, it didn't occur to me that they were a product of parts bin pilfering. The lenses are definitely what struck me, though the bubbles in them extend back into the bonnet whereas the Fiat's hood aft of the headlight lenses is plain in comparison.

The original Elan design actually dated back to 1989 so it’s definitely an innovative design.

Just finished going through all 194 pages of this topic as I was hunting some interesting cars and photos. Some conclusions:
- immense amount of badge engineering
- bunch of cars I never heard of but don't really care about them either
- bunch of cars I did know about but to surprisingly many of fellow GTPlanet members didn't, mainly due to age or location
- bunch of cars posted multiple times like the MTX Tatra above - given that the topic's size and age (over 12.5 years) this is completely normal I'd say

Per @dragster666 this is a Ferrari 456 GT Venice. Seven of these were built. Six are in the Brunei collection. The seventh is gray and is in the UK. I have never heard of it before today.

Alright didn't know this thread existed lel. Here are some more special one off cars made for the Brunei collection all of them still rot in the collection. Hoping that they will be sold off and be driven but from what I've heard they are in a really bad condition from an peep that visited the collection back in 2009 i think?
anyway here are some of these special cars there are more that lurk in that dark garage rotting to this day...
456 Sedan story goes that an Arab business man ordered 4 and Brunei ordered the other 4.

Bentley Silverstone sources say that 7 of these were build just for the collection. Some coupes like this one and some convertibles...

Road legal F90 its believed that they have 6 of them in their collection here are some examples:

LM002 Wagon From what i've heard only 2 of these were built just for the Brunei collection one escaped as seen here the second one is believed to be in a light green color.

A road legal Nazca M12 which for an odd reason was named Alpina not BMW from what I've heard the car
was way more powerful than the concept car...

And two road legal Ferrari Mythos one in red and one in dark blue...
