My memory was spurred on by that Fiat (and the "Jolly" versions of the 500 and others, which had wicker seats and open sides) to remember that Mini did something similar many years ago, with the Mini beach car:

According to this article, many were built to special order for customers. They even made a three-box version of it:

Only 456 production M1s were built, making it one of BMW's rarest models.

:)👍

^^ That's a well known car, I'm afraid. If you google for BMW images, lots of M1 pics will pop. Mainly the race versions.

Just wanted to pop in to say what a great thread guys! :)

Oh, and...
800px-Dome_Zero_P2.jpg

1979 Dome P2. And unlike the Dome concept, I read from Wikipedia that this one almost made it into production! :D

One of those was actually in Sega GT 2002 I believe......

Yes, but he fulfilled the title of the thread exactly which is why I created it, he didn't know about it even if everyone else did.

Citroen C3 sedan. Who knew?

I didn't, interestingly. Thanks for sharing. I already knew about the Fiesta, Clio, Polo, Yaris, Jazz/Fit (as the City), Peugeot 207 and other supermini sedans, but the C3 is new to me. It certainly isn't pretty, it loses some of the Citroen 2CV DNA.

Incidentally, here's how to make the 207 even uglier:

I generally like sedans of all shapes and sizes but some of the supermini ones I just mentioned look ridiculous. The Yaris is probably the best of them.

China, Europe, South America . . . :grumpy:

Must only be in parts of Europe though. The only ones we've ever got in the UK like that are the Skoda Fabia and the old-generation Polo saloon (as in, the 90s Polo). And I think that's pretty much it.

I noticed you guys loved the Bizzarinni on the first few pages of this thread, so I thought I'd share what has to be one of the most beautiful '60s Italian supercars - the :

Want to try and reverse park this Bugatti Type 57 C Voll & Ruhrbeck Cabriolet? The outcome may be expensive.

Those are great shots, where did you find them?

It's a beauty, but I can't quite agree that it's the prettiest. The Bizzarrini cars still take that spot, in my eyes - the SSS car looks just a little too rounded at the front, and too flat at the rear.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't sell my sister and soul for these two cars. The absolutely first thing I'd ever do as a millionaire is buy a Bizzarrini.

Troller T4, apparently it's a version of the Jeep Wrangler built in Brazil, with a 3.0 liter Turbodiesel.

Seek for thy watermark and thou shalt find. This is my website (every car lover's got one) I go to to get the news and pictures. If you search through the concourse galleries, you can find some real gems. Or you can search cars by brand.

Every man's to himself I guess. I think it's just that sloping back that gets into me. If you want a new Bizzarrini, I s'pose you could commision Biz' to make another one of these.

This Maserati Concept is pretty interesting. But mainly because of the interior.

on the website I got these off, the new Villa d'Este Concourse event gallery has been posted - and the gallery is thriving with some car's I've never seen before - as well as some I have with the most beautiful backdrop.

Here's a couple of new ones for me, I'm not familiar with alot of the early ferrari's so these few pics caught my eye.:)

I knew about this when I was a kid, but completely forget about it until I dug out my old collection of car books.

I have better pictures of it in my book here, but haven't had a chance to photograph them yet. I think this car is ace!
