Your most hated car in GT6

Any X Red Bull car. I love all the other cars, some more than others but the Red Bull cars are an insult to GT, IMHO of course. Your results may vary.

I agree. I was very disappointed when I found out about the X1. It saddens me to think the creators of GT think in their minds think that car is feasible in real life. The materials used in the x1 would not be able to hold up against that kind of stress. The whole car would break apart and fly and flip off the racetrack at even the slightest disturbance. Not to mention there are no tyres that could take those pressures and the driver would be killed from the Gforces let alone be able to maintain consciousness to drive it.

The car is a joke and a constant reminder you are playing just a video game.

Now if they introduced it as a fun, secret or hidden Easter egg, then I would love it.

The red bull is ridiculous, thats why no one races it online.

My favourite car (or one of the top) in the world is the F40, I don't care what anyone says it's stupidly broken in this game. It _is_ driveable with enough care, but the car is 100% different to any other car I've tried in this game and judging by videos of people driving it hard for real, it's not realistic.

If you're driving it like it's to save your life then you can (most of the time) get by without spinning, but anything other than that it's completely out of control. I've seen videos of people racing it on GT6 ok, but it seems anything other than a 100% straight line you cannot lift the throttle at all.

I would like to see a video of someone doing 2 or 3 laps on nordschleife in the F40 (which should be possible in any car pretty consistently) driving as slowly / carefully as they like, or as fast as they like, just so I can see.

I know in MR you have to be so gentle as the weight is in the middle, and any slight change can make the car act violently as it's essentially constantly trying to pivot, but no other MR cars in the game act anywhere near on this level.

I enjoy the X2014 Junior.

Anyway my least favourite car in GT6 is the Corvette C7 GT Concept. Handles like 🤬.

I agree about the Cizetta being an awful car, no amount of tuning seems to help it one bit. But with some careful tuning (not power!) the Veyron, F40 and Corvette C7 concept are brilliant. They only need logical adjustments to brake bias, suspension control (slamming to the floor is not the answer!) and the LSD. Also playing with weight bias can drastically alter a cars manners. Try it, you might be pleasantly surprised!

For me the worst cars are the ones that are modelled totally incorrectly, with an emphasis on sound (because the aftermarket parts sound like 🤬) and gears (because of that awful sound you get if you "fix" them yourself, seriously, give us final drive swaps already) in particular.

I like to drive road cars stock, and the worst "offenders" end up collecting viritual dust in my virual garage.

The single worst aspect of any car: A tie between the Ferrari FXX and the McLaren F1 GTR for worst sound simulation.

Worst overall modelling of a stock car - McLaren F1. The sound is... erm... pathetic, and the gearbox, or rather the final drive ratio, is set so high that it stalls when shifting to 6th gear. The McLaren F1 should hit top speed when running into the rev limiter in 6th...

So the prize goes to one my favourite cars of all time - The iconic McLaren F1.

I don't think any computer game could evoke actual hatred in me, as a real life emotion, but if i were to chose a specific car/manufacturer i go out of my way to avoid, unless i have no other choice, it'll be any X Red Bull spaceship car thingy thing. I just don't find any fun in them, but hey that's just me. I am no good at driving them, but I also have absolutely no practice with them, because I give up pretty much as soon as i start, lol :banghead: :D

They're starting to outnumber the GTRs and Miatas for most identical cars.

Transmissions have been a pet peeve of mine for a while. Especially when the only additional options are adding more gears which is just now very realistic, especially in a game that claims to be so.

For worst, I'd have to pick the Chevrolet Corvette C7' 14 (No offense)

It's not the car that's annoying, it's the users that are annoying, especially on SSRX.

( ^Even if it gets beaten by a Daihatsu Midget or Pagani Huayra^)

And also the Audi R18 TDI' 11, that thing is slow, looks 🤬 Ugly, and keeps on skidding off-course :banghead:

For me, its any of the NASCAR cars. They dont handle at all, their acceleration and top speed isnt THAT great and you cant modify or tune them. Not a fan...

Here you go:

This guy seems to have it worked out :)

I agree with you that the F40 isn't modeled perfectly by PD but it is supposed to be an extreme driving challenge, that much is realistic. And as this video attests, some people are up for it!

Honda NSX, no doubt.

That thing just spins out even if you're just thinking about touching the gas. And that's on stock settings, no parts added. I sold it shortly after trying it.
yep the first gen is a pig, but get in the 92' type R or even just a standard 3rd gen and its an angel.

most hated in terms of driving performance would be the RUF BTR, can never pull that thing out of a slide, must be the RR layout. in terms of looks and history though, i love it.

but most hated overall has to be the.... uh........ dont know. i dont think i really hate any car.

wow,so much hate in this thread. but I agree with the Bugutti,as without a shadow of a doubt the s5 test took my dislike for the car and turned it in to pure unadulterated hate. and I agree with the R8 LMS,it's just arse happy.

Of course youre playing a video game, who said this was real? its only quoted as being the real driving simulator because it simulates driving, not because its real. anyways, the x series cars are meant to have fun with or be serious about. they were creatrd within the game to do as you please with them. i
ts your choice to use them or leave them.

I see people complaining about the F40 its a really good car to drive but ... you have to drive it !

Now how interesting would it be if they put the F50 in the game no doubt it would spin off at the slightest mistake but is that like irl ?

I hated the NSX until I learned how to tune the suspension. Tune it for a bit of understeer and its a beast. I can dominate cars with a higher PP with my NSX Type R because I can outbreake them going into the corner, whip the back end around, mash the gas and leave them in the dust. Its a car you have to know how to slide the back end with and drive on the edge though.

to have different versions of the car
ok a few versions is fine but not when the game is clogged up with 30 friggin skylines and miatas. Its a car racing game, not a car collection game. 1000+ cars but half are repeats.(I know not the actual numbers, just giving example)

I don't see the problem of having more options
