I think he probably meant the Skylines of the 70s and 80s.

Why is the '99 Impreza Rally Car not listed as premium in the official list? Another typo?
You come on a site full of car enthusiasts and say the only reason we know about the veyron is because it was on top gear...yeah right. Ok
Good question. It's not listed in the dealership video though, while the '08 WRC car is. So I'm guessing it's been dropped for some reason.![]()
Haha yeah if you say so man. Most people here just read about cars on wikipedia and play racing sims, that hardly makes them car enthusiasts.

All cars in GTHD were of Premium quality. See the image and video I posted.Maybe all cars in GT HD is Standard Cars for GT5 👍

Get new glasses... seriously.Hmm, can't tell from that video and I didn't play HD, but it looks like they might be more like a HQ GT3 & 4 style where only things above the window line are properly modelled.
My goodness, where did I complain about something, I simply posted a list of cars that a clearly numbers padding. Who the hell counts 5 Impalas with different paintjobs 5 unique cars, therefore, they are "padding", if you want to call cars with unique paint jobs and tuned versions of street cars (which we can hopefully tune ourselves anyway) you might as well say Forza has an infinite car list.
Granted I have expressed disappointment in this thread, that was about 20 pages ago... my last post in no way was complaining, I simply presented numbers on how the car list was padded.
The rest of my list proves your point? How? They're the same cars with different paintjobs and maybe different stats typed in to their performance specs, they're not unique cars, hence, padding.
EDIT: Since you edited again after I responded...
And that has relevance how? I love the way people just tag on a little insult at the end as if they've somehow won an argument and are trying to act superior. All I meant by "quick glance" was that I simply looked for cars that had identical names and so were clearly the same car because they have the same name and year, someone with more time might feel like looking through each car and determining if some others are also duplicates more subtly.
Of course it doesn't take much to look at a list that's in alphabetical order, hence why I called it a "quick glance" instead of saying "it was an in depth study of the car list", geeze.
Get new glasses... seriously.
Are you serious!? Well, I see the radiator, detailed headlights, door handles, hood pins and the entire body obviously has 10 times more polygons than a GT4 car. You can see that every part is modeled seperately instead of textured as in GT4.What does the video you posted show of the inside below the window line? Seriously?
Please go as any skyline fan if a R32 is a oldscool model! I'm talking about the 1960's skyline gtb, 70's hakosuka and kenmeri and ofcourse the 80's R30's and R31.
Just want to say to you people ease of on the whole " skyline got the premium treatment idea "! If there is one manufacturer that PD has been giving to much attention to the last time, then is got to be ferrari. come on is 11 premium ferrari not a little bit over kill, there whole current lineup is featured in GT5.
He's talking about the interior. AKA, the part of the car that needs to be modeled fully in order to be considered premium. Are you serious!? I wish people would stop jerking off to the Veyron. It is an impressive car but not a big loss that it isn't premium. The only reason why anyone even knows it exists is because of Top Gear, otherwise none of you would care. That is hardly a good reason to give it the premium car treatment. It wasn't even that popular of a car in Forza 3.
Oh I see. Well, the interiors weren't finished in all cars back then I guess, but they're still obviously Premium. He's talking about the interior. AKA, the part of the car that needs to be modeled fully in order to be considered premium.
Actually my wife (then my gf) first made me aware of the Bugatti Veyron.
At 1001 bhp it isn't actually street legal in her home country (New Zealand).
But hey, I'm certain she's not as big a petrol head as you are...

Because although in GTHD, it didn't have a cockpit view, ever. It's standard. So says the website. Just shows once again how good standards actually look.
It seems that GT5 is not the only game with different models..

I'm not so sure about that... it's got actual panel games and modeled door handles etc etc....
For the record:
Acura NSX
Honda NSX
Acura Integra
Honda Integra
That's padding.
Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R
Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R
Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R
That's including three entirely different cars that share the same name.

They've had all the time in the world to model all those things since it was shown in GTHD though. Either it will look like in the video I posted and be Premium, or they will be using the GT4 version and it will then look like all the other Standard cars. There is no way it will look like in GTHD and still be Standard.Yeah that's not a typical Standard and GT5 presumably still makes use of its GTHD model, but not listed as Premium because it doesn't have high detail dashboard, footwell, pedals etc.
The Celica is listed as Premium in GT5.I swear things are getting even more confusing! GTHD cars were clearly premium models but obviously they didnt do cockpits for all of them (for some crazy reason) thats why you end up with cars like the Celica and the old Subaru Rally car listed as standard in GT5.
