Now your arguing another point, who cares there is 200 + cars. Most people will probably drive around 60 cars. They are the best cars any console has to offer. Before making your final judgment on how PD messed up i think you should at least play the game, or watch a video with customization with a premium car.

The fans grouse about the numerous problems with Forza, some of which never get addressed or fixed, the mods become increasingly heavy-handed in closing threads and swinging the ban hammer, people get defensive, stop "interacting" or leave...
Just look at how many posters here give everyone fits, not just the mods. Imagine if someone from Polyphony was here - or heck, even SCEA. They would feel like lightning rods in a hurricane! They would get harassed every day. Jordan would have to hire more mods just to read posts. And keep in mind that a few boards will only allow posts to go up after a mod reads them over, and even then, some are unpleasant. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with some of these members. Well... you could, but my price would be high.
It may make Polyphony seem aloof and disconnected, but everyone who's been here any time at all knows that they're well aware of the many views we have. They know what we like, what we want, and what we don't. As long as there is a connection of sorts, an avenue where our desires and ideas can be read, it shouldn't really matter whether they're here to be the punching bags of thousands of brats.

Imagine what a game this would be with 200 million dollars, 500 3D modelers, all cars premium, all tracks with weather and time. too much to handle you guys, so you see we should be glad we have standard cars and tracks because if this were true too many people would have committed suicide every time it got delayed. Be grateful you guys..

Oh sorry. About 220 = more than enough to keep even you happy.
Everything from Ferrari's and Lamborghini's to Chevy's and Ford's, from NASCAR cars and rally cars to Go-Karts and Super GT race cars, from classics to brand new, from Honda's and Toyota's to BMW's and Mercedes's, from the McLaren F1 to the Suzuki Cappuccino and the list goes on and on. While that's your opinion and you're entitled to it, kindly allow me mine. Personally most of the premium cars at launch don't interest me.. We can all agree everyone likes super cars but my heroes are missing.. even normal cars I enjoy are missing.. Further, DLC isn't going to be our savior. PD resources will be put towards GT6 and premium vehicles were taking 6 months each. Who knows how long it will take with limited resources.. I'd rather not even think of what would happen if PD tried to charge for DLC cars already on disc.
I'm personally unfortunately more drawn to the T10 lineup of cars in FM3.. I'm not going to pass on GT5 but I did downgrade me CE to an SE copy.

I've taken a very good look at it and I know what it takes to run an official gaming forum. T10 is doing great at it, while all those things you listed are true.. it's about the big picture. Console racing fans are very picky and opinionated and I think T10 has found a balance when it comes to interaction in comparison to PD.

lol when audi comes out and says it is the most beautiful car they've created, then you should maybe consider putting it in. Instead of lets say I donno a VW bus.
Either way none of our bitching and moaning is gonna change anything. Lets just hope the rest of the cars are fun to drive and we wont get bored fast just because the cars we were looking forward to driving in the game didnt make it

Well spoken I can see.. It's about casting a large net, not specifics. I'm not speaking for myself, I'm speaking for the big picture.
Real numbers not marketing.. No dupes please. Regardless it comes down to personal opinion.. The real question is how many of these cars does one persona even have interest in. PD is casting a smaller net, hence then will please fewer people. You can't play both sides and quote large numbers then ask about utilizing them all.
I'll save my comment on the marketing as general speaking is too easily deconstructed.

Wel You know, maybe the VW Bus (or "combi " hos it was called here in Mexico) is an historic and iconic car, is a car than is part of the world automotive history, Yes is not faster as the Audi S5, but is the kind of car than you enjoy driving (even in real life) because bring you feelings and memories, the VW Bus is far away from any mode, every person in the world recognize, and thats something than the S5 hasn't reached yet

This argument of "you'll only drive xx of them" is rather moot since you'll only drive the cars you have access to, are limited to. So from the current line up I might like 15 cars but a different line up might have 30 cars I want to drive regularly. So seeing 60 cars you'll drive doesn't mean others see the same number. You're content, others aren't.

Umm, so? Its an official forum, I haven't been on too many official forums where you can slag off at the product in question and not have it deleted. Its better than not having an official forum at all.
There's heaps of things in almost every game that has flaws and bugs and problems which the devs dont fix. Welcome to the real world. At least the official forum commonly frequented by the dev team shows that if you have a problem, the devs have read about it. Whether or not they fix it is another matter, there's heaps of games with heaps of problems that the devs know about and haven't fixed. If you then start slagging off at the game because of it, expect it to be locked and deleted, why would the official site want that sort of stuff said about their game on their forum.

Ya but is a VW bus something you would want to race in a video game? I feel like it does all those things in real life, but in a video game its just useless. Majority of people will drive it a few times and never touch it again. An S5 on the other hand. oh boy
