That was another thing, sorry to whoever it was I gave a monster t-bone to. I had flicked through the hud two corners before that checking tyre temps then I flew into a black car as two cars had obviously collided before I came flying round. Annoying how you cannot pick what items you went left up.
Need to keep that damn minimap up in future.

Yes the menu jump again! been fine for a while but did take wheel off Tuesday to move button pods as the default positions changed so will check to see if engaged properly.
New tyre model accounts for lower grip on the medium tyres at least.
the mirrors look nice but not that useful when racing because to low.

I've watched Carlos' highlights and some of Madcat's.
First I have to say that this one some of the best races I've had, with not too many silly accidents (at least from my point of view). I thought the only crash I caused was because a random drove into my path just before that, with no chance for me to escape, as much as whoever drove into me had no chance either. But looking at Madcat's video, it hardly affected him, which is good.
But I have to apologise to Carlos, at the end of lap 9 of race 4, even though you were spinning already, the shunt I gave you made it a lot worse. I did try to avoid you but we were too close.
I actually really enjoyed these fights, between trying to follow closely, the aborted, successful and fought off attempts to overtake you! That was the patient driving I was expecting to have to do. What a great clean driving battle.
I also had a lot of defending to do with Madcat...
(Sorry for the beginning of race 5, it was in the end a side by side small collision but detrimental enough with the cold tyres...)
The little incident between Carlos and Madcat at lap 10 of race 1 confirms to me that trying to overtake on the inside of that chicane would be too risky...
It looks ok from Madcat's point of view but quite bad from Carlos'.
Which tends to show me that if someone crashes into you, sometimes it just might be purely accidental and the other driver my not realise how much you were affected. Which doesn't mean that we can just claim everything was an accident. We still have the responsibility of doing our best not to ruin other people's race. One nice example was that of Standard going into a much worse spin in the pit straight to avoid taking Madcat with him... (Check Madcat's video at 10:10)

absolutely my fault, it was impossible that I could overcome at that point. I apologize to carlos and give back the position meanly stolen. beautiful races yesterday all fast and aggressive

A few scary close moments that went surprisingly well even without the red arrows and left/right buttons. The racing was quite fun when we were together until I was too agressive on cold brakes/tyres.
The lack of brake balance was irritating for me as I was understeering everywhere. There was great flow in the track though.

Bit of practice with madcat with the porche @ spa, anyone noticed problem with down shift when using paddles sometimes doesn't register.

Isn't it just the car's software not allowing it to protect the engine? I've seen it in other cars.

I understand if you shift quick protects against over rev, but if you drive consistently it still misses down shift randomly.
