Ah I see, thanks. I'll look for activity here over the holiday, timing is tough for me otherwise. I'd love to get some decent racing in, rather than crossing my fingers going into random servers and wasting a lot of time.
 
Sorry fellas, my connection went down this afternoon, came back for a few minutes then died again until 10 minutes ago.

There were some frustrating contacts but there were also some epic battles. There are a few full laps in this video, the battles were so intense...

There are a few things I wanted to let you know and a couple of lists I need you to help me fill.
I accept replies on the PSN group chat but would prefer them here.


1. I will add new events, hopefully by the end of tomorrow. Bear with me...

2. I suggest we start kicking randoms from race 1 (unless we decide otherwise depending on circumstances. The default would be 'kick')

3. I also suggest no more reverse grids for the time being (unless we decide otherwise depending on circumstances)
I do need everyone to read about how we do reverse grids because some clearly haven't read it!

4. For the GT3 races, I want to keep track of who's driving what, to avoid the otherwise inevitable 'hey, I can't pick my car!'. Please help me fill that list:
(Note: please leave the apparently faster Huracan alone if possible. If you're a fast driver, don't keep silent in the hope of getting to drive one as last choice!!)

As far as I can remember, it starts like that:
Z4: Standard and Xeronima
650S: Warrius and Bonio
SCG: Carlos_Fandango and Madcat
Audi: Voofx
AMG GT3: Pyro and krsht3
MP4-12C: Nemesis-Hobbsy-Reaper
GT-R: Rostovic and Ave
For the others, please remind me...

5. There are still a few missing gtplanet usernames in my 'registered drivers list' in the OP. Please help me fix that. Thanks!

Hi Guys
The servers are not locked anymore, i joined the first time without an invite,
About last night, i am sorry about the start of Race 1, my wheels where locked whilst they had turned to the right, it seems the game doesn't center very well upon race starts. then i had some people take me out for no reason, overall, it was a bad come back experience.
On the GT3 list, i think i will go with the Z4 if it is still avail, else i will go with the AMG GT3

My other race series has finished as of yesterday. I will be available to join you guys next Wednesday. Then I will be on vacation for the holidays.
I haven't decided what I'm gonna do in the new year as far as joining another racing series, so if you have people that are wanting my spot I would not be offended if you gave it to them.

As for my race last night, I could only spare time for 1 run as had to pick up my daughter. I was not back until nearly 10pm as well, so no chance for second stint.
Also not sure why the headset didnt work, but I kept getting a NAT incompatibility msg against various players. I put it in mute anyway just in case it caused issue.

@SpaceBreed unfortunately i was on your right side when you decided to play chicken with the wall :dopey:, when I saw Warrius's highlights, I could see straight away why it happened. No worries though, these things happen. One to remember for next time,
Just make sure your not doing doughnuts before the start of the race :lol:

bobph who was an unknown in the race last night, appears on my friends list, so I must have raced with him/her before somewhere. He must have demonstrated some ability to drive cleanly, otherwise I would not normally keep unknowns on my list. I'll try an reach out to him and point him here.

That's true Warrius, however the new time and day is proving difficult for me, so I'm happy to be deemed a "reserve driver" if there is another able to take part more regularly.

Obviously if you can keep a spot free, then i will fill it when available.
 
Not that I know of... I haven't fully watched all the clips though.

Hmm, never spotted pyro wheelspin right off the start to the right into nemesis... How was that possible? Damn, a lot of bodywork bumping incidents.
