Finally got through the videos from Wednesday. I systematically forgot to start the video save thing, so the start is missing. And I've got no clue where r4 is at.

Try changing the recording time from 15mins to 60mins that way if you don't save after a race it will be in with the next one. Go to settings:sharing and broadcasts:length of video clip:60 mins.

I understand if you shift quick protects against over rev, but if you drive consistently it still misses down shift randomly.

Yeah I would support this, I was having difficulties the other night, and was sure it was not just me changing early.
So makes sense if others are finding the same thing.

Bit of practice with madcat with the porche @ spa, anyone noticed problem with down shift when using paddles sometimes doesn't register.

Quite fun around Spa in these Porsches. This GT4 doesn't have a manual clutch? Doesn't seem to engage.
 




Race 1 is how I learned from Standard (@Moloko) how to shave a couple of seconds off my lap times and race 2 was with @C Fandango and how I met GTRP_Ave_46, who might race with us next Wednesday.

And I recommend watching lap 6 of race 2. That green car annoyed me a bit in the end.

I had changed it already. I was just starting/stopping the recording incorrectly. I'll learn it some day
 
I think I've sussed out the downshift problem, it only happens for me when I'm braking hard. I think it could therefore be linked to ABS activation at the same time as downshifting.

I was having problems on the first corner at Brands Hatch, so I reduced the braking pressure and it seems to have solved the issue.
So for those having issues, try being a little softer or earlier on the brakes :D:tup:

Did anyone else suffer their tyres lacking heat. Took 4 laps to get a bit of heat in the tyres then soon as I hit the straights they fell back to 51 - 53c. The last two races I simply couldn't keep the heat in the tyres. Spent more time wrestling with the wheel trying to bring it up until it fell away on the straights. Even heavy braking/no traction control wasn't putting heat into the tyres. :odd:

Oh and that curmil? Was that the person? Haven't experienced that since GT5 release. Speeding up shooting across the grass then ramming people off or poking the rear end corners of peoples cars.

God, private lobbies cannot come soon enough!
 
Indeed, I can't wait either.

As for the tyres, I was really struggling all the time. Most of my times were in the 1:37.xxx, way slower than my practice races.

Unless it was not the first race but that one race where we struggled to keep them all out... I've been thinking about kicking even for the first race but then that's how we got 2 more players tonight, Rostovic and MarkShaw25.

Mind you, at this rate, we will have a full lobby.
 
I think it was race 4? Curmil came in. What did we do, 6 races? Also that damn position list on the left is irritating how it doesn't update often to tell who is where or who is still in the race.

Also, damn! I had serious problems anticipating where people were and luckily managed to miss a lot of incidents. I was like craaap I'm going to take out Warrius! Still don't know how I managed to not clip you in some of those corners with those damn cold tyres.

I do miss the left and right viewing buttons! Some people I couldn't see where they were.

Here are the Porsche clubman highlights, check @ 13mins 40secs when l looked at mini map and virtual mirror, looked at wrong time so looked like a single car so knew it would pas as it had slip stream, so thought l will tuck in when it passed, only surprise 2 cars were streaming "bang"! so annoying, red proximity arrows back please, why fix something that wasn't broken.

Damn, Carlos what hit you at 13:00? I saw nothing in the mirror or anything drive by.... Yet the bodywork bang.


Oops! Sorry madcat! Didn't seem as bad on my side when I gave you that horrid shunt 10:55 video 1. Or maybe I realised and that was why I held back. Cannot remember. :/
